Material and labour for repair to potholes, not exceeding 1 Sq.m each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, cutting around edges at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat with viscosity grade paving bitumen VG-10 conforming to IS-73:2006 at the rate of 5 Kg per 10 Sqm, making good by filling in screened and graded road metal, watering and well ramming including supply of road metal complete all as specified. NOTE:- (i) Bitumen for tak coat ,pre mixed carpet and sealing coat shall be viscosity grade paving bitumen VG-10 conforming to IS 73:2006.
M&L for preparation of black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bag to remove all loose dirt etc, applying evenly a priming/tack coat of viscosity grade paving bitumen VG-10 conforming to IS-73:2006 @ 5 Kgs/10 Sqm on black top surfaces premix bituminuous carpet using mechanical paver and hot mix plant 25mm thick consolidated thickness with 0.34 cum of stone chippings (0.23 cum of 12.5mm and 0.11cum of 10mm size) mixed with 18.25 Kg of binder (Bitumen VG-10 grade) per 10 Sqm rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using power roller 8 to 10 ton capacity and applying premixed sand seal coat mixed with 0.06 Cum of sand and 6.8 Kgs of viscosity grade paving bitumen VG-10 conforming to IS-73:2006 and rolled surface to uniform smooth with 8 to 12 Ton power Road Roller complete all as specified.
M & L for applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bitumen @ 5Kg per ten square metre.
M & L for premixed sand seal coat with 0.06 Cum of sand mixed with 6.8 Kg of bitumen applied and rolled to a uniform smooth surface.
Material and labour for marking / painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc on roads, pavements and like not exceeding 10 cm wide, 2mm thick with hot using thermo plastic road marking paint, white of golden yellow in colour conforming to BS STD 3382 with 20% glass beads (interembed) using automatic mechanical machine engine driven all as directed and specified.
Demolition of plain cement concrete in ground floors and pavings n exc 15 cm thickness (below or above GL) complete all as specified and as directed.
M&L PCC 1:3:6 type D-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation filling, mass concrete, sub base, hard standing etc. complete all as specified and as directed.
