REPAIR/MAINT OF DG SETS OF DIFFERENT CAPACITIES, PANELS, CABLES ETC IN ARMY AREA BANAR

Maint and servicing of DG sets of 12.5 KVA to 30 KVA of make Kirloskar/Cummini/CG/Mahindra including replacement of defective/burn out parts by new spares such as gaskets,V belts, rubber hoses, clamps, nut and bolts and cleaning of alternator with vaccum cleaner and including greassing of bearing etc make the DG set in serviceable condition complete comprising the following:- (i) Checking engine oil level and water level. (ii) Checking and adjusting the belt for tension (iii)Checking of air filter element (iv) Checking of exhaust system for leakage (v) Draining of sediment from fuel filter and fuel tank (vi) Cleaning of air cleaner element (vii) Checking engine alternator coupling, mounting bolts and alignment (viii) Tighting all nuts, bolts, in altenator terminal block (ix) Checking of alternator carbon brush and connections in alternator (x) Checking and tighting of all connection in DC control wiring.

(xi) Trouble shooting of any type of fault in DG set through out the contract. Clearing of fault and testing complete. Note: (i) All servicing and testing works shall be recorded jointly in presence of EIC/JE E/M, Contractor and service Engineer (ii) The rate for checking of DG set by professional Engineer as and when required basis will be included in the quoted rate. (iii) The contract will attend the complaint within 24 Hrs of the intmation by the attendent. (iv) The penalty of Rs 5000/- Per day for not attending the complaint will be imp (v) Spares required for incorporation of repairs not included in above scope shall be measured and paid seperately under respective items.

Supply and fix in Repairs new PVC insulated multistranded, copper conductor 70 sqmm multistranded of 1.25 mtr long each duly fixed with brass clamps, copper lugs suitable for DG sets installed at different locations from battery to starter as battery leads complete.

Supply only engine oil, multi grade 15W40 for topping up OR pouring in engine of DG sets.

Supply only Petroleum jelly in 01 kg sealed plastic containers.

Supply only distilled water for topping up in the batteries all as directed.

S & F in repair Water temperature gauge including sensor and cable complete as per sample.

Supply & fill Electrolyte of suitable Specific gravity for lead acid batteries in sealed container complete.

Strip opening carefully of the existing FIP and injectors and transporting to service centre for servicing / calibrating including petty repairs to make the FIP functional for the following capacities of DG sets including replacement of necessary spares required for smooth functioning of FIP :-

M&L for Earthing complete in replacement with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60×60cm.× 6mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less'than 1.5 metres below normal ground level, connected to galvanised earth strip 32x6mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No 3 and connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including testing on completion.

M&L for repairing to the broken door of the DG set of any capacity with necessary works such as welding including replacement of hinges fitting, locking and painting to match with the existing all as directed.

Supply only coolent media for radiator assembly of specified grade complete.

M & L in replacement water pump of capacity up to 200 KVA for DG set

Supply and fixing in replacement change over switch 4 pole, 415 V, 100 Amp all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement change over switch 4 pole, 415 V, 200 Amp all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement change over switch 4 pole, 415 V, 400 Amp all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and Labour for servicing of Turbo charger including Replacemnt of Turbo charger kit for capacity up to 500 KVA DG Set complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement start solenoid of the DG set of capacity up to 100 KVA

Supply and fixing in replacement start solenoid of the DG set of capacity 160 to 500 KVA

Supply and fixing in replacement ball valve of size 25 mm bore made of brass all as specified.

Supply and fixing in replacement start key switch of DG set of any capacity all as directed.

Supply and fixing in repair diesel pipe of any DG set of length up to 1.00 metre as directed.

Disconnecting of radiator assembly from DG sets of following capacities transporting it to work shop for overhauling and cleaning descaling with restore plus solution,removal of leakage, welding brazing and re-fixing it at site duly repaired etc all as directed by Engr-in-Charge

M&L for cleaning for fuel tank both internally and externally by removing all the dust/sadiments etc including painting of tank,writing of tank capacity, date of cleaning and next due date for tank to be cleaned for following capacity of DG sets including necessary repair works to make it leake proof and all as directed :-

Dismantling the existing unserviceable battery, supply and fix new lead acid battery 12 Volts 150 AH, heavy duty with electrolyte indicator float including initial charging of the battery connecting up complete all as specified.

Supply and fix in replacement of dry battery with new 12V, 160 AH maintenance free with inbuild SMPS charger.

Supply and fixing heat proof, fire proof/flame proof asbestos rope 12mm dia on engine exhaust pipe including dismentling of worn out asbestos rope including replacement of wornout nut, bolts, clamps and tightening exhaust pipe in position etc complete all as directed.

M & L for taking out burnt out winding and rewinding the Self startor coil, of any type with copper enameled wire including other minor repairs and testing and refixing the Self startor after repair with alignment rotor with shaft and coupling, Copper enameled wire, lumex paper, glass wire varnish and cotton tape etc with all required accessories for 320/250 /125 KVA DG sets including necessary electrical and earthing connections complete all as spedcified.

Dis-connecting the alternator from the engine of up to capacity 100 KVA by removing the coupling & outgoing cable transporting the alternator to authorized maintenance service center for repairs Cleaning the armature, applying one coat of varnish and heating and assembling the alternator at workshop and testing at NO load, transporting the same to the site , re-connecting the alternator to the engine after proper alignment including testing and commissioning complete all as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Servicing of AMF Panel suitable for 25 KVA DG Set to 200 KVA DG Set including cleaning properly with blower, checking of control wiring , replacement of burnt out / damaged wiring connections, calibration of control relay, replacement of control fuses / MCBs all as directed by Engineer in Charge. NOTE :- Spare parts shall be measured and paid sepretely in resppective item of this schedule if required.

Servicing of AMF Panel suitable for 200 KVA DG Set to 1010 KVA DG Set including cleaning properly with blower, checking of control wiring , replacement of burnt out / damaged wiring connections, calibration of control relay, replacement of control fuses / MCBs all as directed by Engineer in Charge. NOTE :- Spare parts shall be measured and paid sepretely in resppective item of this schedule if required.

Preparation of old painted surfaces of the DG Sets including radiator, fuel tank etc of the capacities 100 to 500 KVA complete and spray painting with two coats of approved synthetic enamel paint of approved shade including writing SM/MES Nos on DG set complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in repair MCCB 63 Amp 3 phase, 4 pole, 25 KA ics=icu thermal release protection type all as specified.

Supply and fixing in repair MCCB 100 Amp 3 phase, 4 pole, 25 KA thermal release protection type all as specified.

Supply and fixing teethed ring gear of Alternator Fly wheel for DG Set 125/100/63 as per existing make all as specified and directed as Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in repair MCCB 160 Amp 3 phase, 4 pole, 25 KA thermal release protection type all as specified.

Supply and fixing in repair MCCB 200 Amp 3 phase, 4 pole, 36 KA thermal release protection type all as specified.

Supply and fixing in repair MCCB 250 Amp 3 phase, 4 pole, 36 KA thermal release protection type all as specified.

Supply & Fix Excitation coil upto 200 KVA DG set complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Preparation of old painted surfaces of the DG Sets including radiator, fuel tank etc of the capacities 40/50/62.5/63 KVA complete degreasing and spray painting with two coats of approved synthetic enamel paint of approved shade including writing SM/MES Nos on DG set complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Disconnecting of all cables, MCCBs etc from panel,Taking out and Shiftng of 62.5 KVA DG set from 224 Shallow well to out side 224 parameter with the help of crane and after shifting of DG reconnecting all cable with panel and testing complete all as directed by Engr- in- charge

Supply, Install , testing and commissioning of LT F/P of suitable size for 3 Phase 415 Volts outdoor type made out 3.15 mm thick CRCA sheet of sides of the panel board, 200 Amp aluminium bus bar insulated with PVC sleaves and coloured with (red, yellow,blue and black) CTR and internal wiring with suitable size of PVC insulated copper wire , use with angle iron 50x50x6 mm frame bottom of the panel board , grouted by using PCC foundation 1 : 2 : 4 type C1 with 20 mm graded stone aggregate , thimbling and cable entry boxes with cable gland and the Aluminium bus bar should be 1.5 time from the main incoming with 150 Amp on load change over complete.

Takingdown unsv self startter from DG and Supply and fix replacement with new self starter of capacity 160KVA DG set complete.

Material and Labour in taking down carefully Old rusted silencer & exhaust pipe up to 500 KVA from engine scraping & cleaning in side & out side applying one coat of zink primer for out side silencer pipe & providing self adjestive Asbasto Rope 12 mm dia from engine to exhaust pipe and painting with 2 coat of syenthetic enameled paint for expose portation of exhaustcomplete all as directed by Engr-in-charge..

Servicing of DG Manual Panel up to 110 KVA DG Set including cleaning properly with blower, checking of control wiring , replacement of burnt out / damaged wiring connections, replacement of control fuses / MCBs all as directed by Engineer in Charge. NOTE :- Spare parts shall be measured and paid sepretely in resppective item of this schedule if required.
