IHEP-Supply,Erection and Commissioning of High Mast Lighting system at various locations in Moolamattom Colony and near the entrance of Idukki Underground Power House.

Part A- Supply.

Supply of 490 PCD 16M high mast shaft in two section (confirming to the attached data sheet for 16M high mast) having sufficient wind withstanding capability as per IS 875 Part-III, along with head frame, luminaries carriage suitable for 8 luminaries in Symmetrical/ Asymmetrical arrangement and all other required complete accessories, for the completion of work, manufactured in factory including counter weight as required for the helipad area.

Supply of 445 PCD 16M high mast shaft in two section(confirming to the attached data sheet for 16M high mast) having sufficient wind withstanding capability as per IS 875 Part-III along with head frame, luminaries carriage suitable for 6 luminaries in Symmetrical/ Asymmetrical arrangement and all other required complete accessories, for the completion of work, manufactured in factory including counter weight as required for Power house entrance area

Supply of 9M high hot dip galvanized octagonal pole having top dia of 70mm and bottom dia as per the attached drawing made with HT steel sheet thickness of 3mm along with suitable base plate and good quality standard ring arm bracket suitable to fix 4 Nos. LED flood light fittings, for Generation Circle Office area

Supply of raising and lowering system comprising double drum winch, 6 mm diameter SS wire rope, trailing cable, connector, integral power tool motor, manual handle, junction box, lightning finial etc. (Wiring material from JB to individual luminaries & MCB in base compartment are not included and are a part of installation)

Supply of foundation bolts manufactured from special steel along with nuts, washers, anchor plate and common template for 16 M Mast

Supply of foundation bolts manufactured from special steel along with nuts, washers, for 9 M Octagonal Pole

350W LED floodlight luminaries, with mounting arrangements on the high- mast carriage.

250W LED floodlight luminaries, with mounting arrangements on the high-mast carriage

120W LED floodlight luminaries, with mounting arrangements on the octagonal Pole ring arm bracket

Supply of LED type twin dome aviation obstruction light for the 16 M Mast

Supply of outdoor stand mounted feeder pillar with 32A TPN MCB incomer, single dial digital time switch, 25A TP contactor for the automatic switching of luminaries,power tool control with 2 Nos 9A contactors and raise lower push button,with terminals suitable to 35sq.mm incoming and outgoing 16&2.5sq.mm cables.

Description of Work / Item(s)

Part B- Labour.

Construction of shallow foundation in hard soil/rock for 16 M high mast with M20 grade concrete, considering the safe soil bearing capacity at site as 10 T/sq.mtr at 2 meter depth – as per the OEM foundation drawing-with all materials and labour including excavation, back filling , popper curing and making the finished surface as earlier before excavation etc. all inclusive. Controlled blasting of rock at locations may be expected and anchoring with dowel bars is to be considered at such locations, if required.

Construction of concrete foundation in hard soil/rock for 9 M Pole with M20 grade cement concrete at 1.7 meter depth – as per the OEM foundation drawing-with all materials and labour including excavation, back filling , popper curing and making the finished surface as earlier before excavation etc. all inclusive. Controlled blasting of rock at locations may be expected and anchoring with dowel bars is to be considered at such locations, if required.

Erection of the high mast with the help of suitable tools and plants, wiring of luminaries with supply of all wiring materials like PVC insulated PVC sheathed flexible cable of suitable copper conductor cores of 1.5 sq. mm, lugs, MCB(refer item 1.2 above), interconnecting cables from Feeder pillar to Mast control gear box and all labour including testing & commissioning of the system

Installation of the octagonal pole with the help of suitable tools and plants, wiring of luminaries with supply of all wiring materials like PVC insulated PVC sheathed flexible cable of suitable copper conductor cores of Minimum 1.0 sq. mm, lugs, control MCB etc. including testing & commissioning of the system. Supply of 4 x 2.5 sq.mm cu cable from MCB to junction box is included.

Provision of GI pipe earthing for High mast with 2.5 M long 40 mm dia GI Pipe including connection to High mast earth terminal with 25 x 3 mm GI flats (3.0 Meter) with supply of all materials and labour (2 nos per mast)

Provision of GI pipe earthing for octagonal pole with 2.5 M long 40 mm dia GI Pipe including connection to 9M Pole earth terminal with 25 x 3 mm GI flats with supply of all materials and labour

Installation of the mast feeder pillar by grouting the stand in concrete, inclusive of all cost for the excavation & refilling in all kinds of soil and earthing the feeder pillar.
