Earth work in Hill Road (Hill Side Cutting): Excavation in Hilly area for Construction of road in all types of Soils, Rocks and E&B etc. as met at site, true to lines as per Plan, L-Section, Cross Slope, Super Elevation as required, also including Uprooting & Cutting of Bushes, Dressing of Road surface to the required level and slopes with all Lifts & Leads required for safe disposal of surplus excavated material at suitable dumping places indicated in Drawings by Mechanical means / Manual means and including construction of required coolie walling of minimum height of 0.60 mtr with the stone available from the required hill side cutting for retaining the muck, , without otherwise damaging the Forest, Forest Land, Utilities, Private and Public Properties, including slip clearance and its safe disposal (same as per mention above for safe disposal of surplus of excavated material) till the completion of the work as per Part II special condition of contract. Providing and Laying of Mechanically Woven Double Twisted Hexagonal shaped Gabions (Zinc plus PVC coated), of size 3mX1mX1m with two diaphragms at 1m interval, having mesh opening 100mmx120 mm, mesh wire diameter 2.7mm/3.7mm,edge/selvedge wire diameter 3.4/4.4 mm and lacing wire diameter 2.2/3.2 mm. (The work includes filling boulders in the gabions).

Providing and fixing of Edge stones 12cm x 12cm x 60cm size precast in M15 cement concrete with 4 nos. 8 mm dia HYSD vertical bars and 3 nos 6 mm dia MS stirrups on valley side of formation as per drawing and technical specification clause 1608.2.6
