Surface Excavation not exceeding 30 Cm deep and averaging 15 Cm deep and getting out in Soft/ Loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing Excavated soils not exceeding 50 M and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 M above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for treating the excavated area with chemical treatment to prevent wild growth and suitable for plantation and grass turfing complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and planting Korean/Mexican carpet grass sheets over the prepared base including filling of good earth, cow dung, vermi compost and watering, after removing the weeds or any other vegetation, mixing the manure at suitable proportion from time to time as required complete all as specified and directed. Note for item Nos. 4, 5, 6 : (i) Supply only loose soil ,cow dung and vermi compost shall be measured and paid separately. (ii) The plants and grass turfing planted vide above items shall be maintained by watering, taking out weeds, manuring with organic manure at regular intervals, using chemical fertilizers, spraying pesticides etc. required for healthy growth, trimming of branches/ grass to maintain proper shape etc. all as per standard gardening practice for a period of two years from the certified date of completion of entire work. For this pupose sufficient number of gardeners shall be deployed by the contractor. Water shall be supplied by MES free of cost for maintaining the grass and plants and all other equipment and fertilizers etc for maintenance period shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. For this purpose 20% of cost of arboriculture items shall be with held from Final Bill and shall be released after satisfactory completion of defect liability period. . In case depatment is not in a position to supply the water, contractor has to make his own arrangements for supply of water. Quoted rates shall be deemed to include for the same.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick with soils complete all as specified and as directed.
