SERVICES FOR RUNNING, OPERATION AND MAINT OF LIFTS - 4 NOS AT NEW MH UNDER GE BHOPAL.

NOTES :- If the quoted amount is less than the estimated cost of the work i.e. Rs.8,65,300/-, then the lowest bidder will have to deposit a FDR/BGB in favour of 'GE BHOPAL' within 07 days of opening of financial bid for the difference in estimated cost i.e. Rs.8,65,300/- and quoted amount. In case the said FDR/BGB is not submitted within stipulated period as mentioned above, the contractor shall be banned for 6 months and his bid will be rejected. FDR/BGB shall be released only after satisfactorily completion of work.

Services for Running & Operation of lifts at new MH : (emergency services including preventive & periodical maintenance) of lifts - 4 nos at new MH Bairagrh (Lifts installed in Hospital Bldg in Block 'A', 'B' and 'C; 20 passenger lift (stretcher lift) - 02 Nos, 15 passenger lift - 01 No., 08 passenger lift - 01 No.) including attending emergency services required in lifts round the clock for 24 hrs including sundays & holidays complete all as directed and specified. The following staff to be employed:-

Lift Operator (Electrician): 01 No. in each shift for 03 Shifts (each shift of 08 hrs, shift timings will be as directed by Engineer-in-charge) i.e. 03 Nos of Lift Operator (Electrician) per day.

NOTES (for serial item No.2.00 & 2.10 (Contd/-):- (i) Minimum wages as per Minimum Wages Act 1948 shall be paid to the tradesmen by the contractor. Proper wages paid record shall be maintained and submitted to Engineer-in-charge. Contractor shall supply log book, attendance register, payment register and operator shall be responsible to maintain the log book daily and submit to department duly completed along with attendance register and payment record register at the end of every month. All provisions as laid down in Contract Labour Act 1970 such as payment of minimum fair wages, working conditions, etc shall be complied with by the contractor. (ii) The contractor shall quote the rates for deputing man power and reliever arrangement as per labour commissioners rule requirement of labours as given in BoQ. Penal recovery at the rate of Rs 500/- per shift per trades man will be effected for the less number of tradesman employed on any working day. (iii) The staff employed by the contractor shall be responsible for carrying out cleaning of all panel boards, internal and external portions of power house in a presentable condition for inspection at all time. If required, the contractor will employ more manpower to carry out the duties assigned above and no extra payment will be made on this account. Rates quoted by him will be deemed to be included, complete all as directed and specified by EIC. (iv) The contractor shall carry out routine check and maintain check sheet daily/ weekly/ monthly all as per manufacturers instructions/SOP and upkeep the installation, rectify normal troubleshootings and will submitt daily updated logsheet at the end of every month in the AGE E/M office. (v) Verification of antecedents of Contractors representatives/ trained personnel/labour deployed at site in connection with execution of work under the contract, as per security requirement of User Unit/installation shall be the responsibility of the contractor and all expenses in connection with verification of antecedents by Police Authority/security Agency shall be borne by the contractor. (vi) Qualification :- LIFT OPERATOR (ELECTRICIAN) :-The contractor shall provide the services of trained personnel i.e. ITI qualified (Electrician trade as per requirement of Engineer-in-charge) with at least 01 (one) year experience in the relevant field OR matriculate with atleast 05 (five) years experience in the relevant field and requiste certificates in this regard shall be submitted to Engineer-in-charge for their approval before commencement of work and get verification with orignal certificates.

NOTES (for serial item No.2.00 & 2.10 (Contd/-):- (vii) Staff engaged for maintenance/operation of the installation will not leave the installation under any circumstances, if during surprise check by representative of Deptt, maintenance staff found absent then penalty of Rs 500/- per shift per trades man will be imposed on the contractor. (viii) All tradesmen will be in uniform with name plate/badge as approved by GE, cost of these is deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor. (xi) POL, Lubricants, etc if required shall be issued by the department under Schedule 'B' and it will be the contractor’s responsibility for filling oil / lubricant into fuel tank of DG sets,etc. Necessary intimation & collection will be the responsibility of contractor. Empty containers shall be returned by the contractor to the MES store yard. Non issue will not require amenment to CA. (xii) All tradesmen shall be individually life insured under group insurance scheme or any other scheme for minimum of Rs.1.00 Lakh. Insurance certifcate in this regard shall be submitted to Enginer-in-charge before commencement of work. (xiii) The rate of petty sotres such as nuts & bolts, washers, coupling rubber star packing, gland rope, grease, etc are included in quoted rates. (xiv) The contractor shall provide T & P items to the employers like wrenches of different sizes, screw driver set & torch lights, etc. (xv) Contractor shall provide mobile phone (for keeping liason with the executive staff), rechargeable torch, conveyance, etc with the operator/tradesman. The quoted rates are deemed to include for the same. (xvi) Contractor shall provide safety kit like industrial leather shoes, set of tools, open wrench set, spanner set, screw driver set, etc to the opeartors for their use and safety.
