SPECIAL REPAIR/REPLACEMENT OF STREET LIGHT POLES, UG CABLE, JUNCTION BOXES AND ALLIED WORKS FROM SIGNAL CENTRE ROAD TO CHECK POST NO 03 AND LT PANEL, EARTHING AND ALLIED WORKS OF SAMRA AUDITORIUM AT BINNAGURI MILITARY STATION UNDER GE (N) BINNAGURI

Amount

Excavating in trenches, not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth for foundations of poles, taking down old cable etc and getting out including trimming the sides and forming bottom surfaces to required levels in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, and well ramming in layer not exceeding 25 cm thick in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated material (excavated soil) to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for river sand, washed and screened dry for cushioning to under ground cable in trenches below and around under ground cable including spreading and levelling complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and laying sub class B bricks of size 230x125x73mm(+/- 10% tolerance limit) for protection of UG cable with width equal to length of bricks as mechanical protection laid dry and flat complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for horizontal boring across the existing road without disturbing the road surface for inserting GI pipe of 50mm dia complete all as specified and as directed. Notes:- (a) Removal of surplus soil shall be deemed to be include in the unit Rate. (b) GI pipe will be measured and paid separately under relevant item of Sch 'A'.

Laying only old burnt old size bricks, straight or curved on plan, laid flat with width equal to length of brick, laid dry over electric cable for protection all as specified.

Supplying and fixing Galvanised mild steel pipe /tubing, light grade complete with all fittings of 50 mm bore dia, laid in trenches / under roads, fixed to poles/ walls with Mild steel clamps, bolts, nuts and washers as in cable protection including old taking down one complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for cement concrete (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate for foundation of stay assembly/struts/pole etc. (around the poles in pit) complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate for coping / pedestal of poles including necessary form work, fair finishing to exposed surfaces by using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.

Disconnecting & taking out defective under ground LT cable from trenches, pole, pipe, floor, wall etc including bricks, GI pipes and removing from work site of unserviceable material and keep serviceable material for reuse in safe custody for any size complete as directed. Note: Excavation/earth work shall be measured & paid separately under relevant item of this schedule.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing LT underground electric power cable crossed linked XLPE insulated, two or more core galvanized steel strip or wire armoured / PVC insulated armoured cable heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor 1100 volts grade, cross-sectional area 16 sqmm 4 core laid in trenches / laid under floor or fixed to walls/on poles / in ducts or passing through pipes etc fixing and connecting accessories such as Aluminium cable lugs, cable glands, nut, bolts, washers etc complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Excavation, earth work, sand cushioning, protection brick and pipe shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate items.

Relaying in trenches or passing through pipe, 1100 volts grade, LT electric power UG cables, of any type/size with and including all fixing & connecting accessories such as Alluminium cable lugs, cable gland, nut, bolts, washer etc complete as specified and as directed. Note: Earthwork & Excavation, GI pipe, bricks for protection etc shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of this schedule 'A'.

Taking down old unserviceable street light/Flood light fittings without damaging and depositing to MES store yard complete all as specified and as directed.

Refixing only serviceable LED Street light fitting of any wattage, pole mounted etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for LED street light epoxy powder coated pressure die-cast aluminium housing with weather proof gasket for LEDs with lens and control gear compartments, pressure die-cast aluminium frame with heat resistant toughened clear glass fixed with SS screws, input voltage 140-270 Volts, delivering lumen equal to/greater than 9000 lumen, system wattage 90 Watt, Ingress protection IP-66 with all accessories including taking down unserviceable light fitting and removing from site complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Digging out incoming and outgoing cables of any sizes from loop near junction box/ feeder pillar box in tranches, cutting burnout uninsulated portion of cable and rectify the defect and relaying the XLPE cable under ground aluminium conductor in trenches and returning and filling the excavated soil and connecting the cables with bus bars including provision of lugs as applicable and testing complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for painting to the LT PCC poles with strips in alternate from bottom to top with three strips of black synthetic paint & two strips of Yellow/ Sky blue paint (as per existing pattern) through out the circumference of pole including one coat of white wash on PCC copping of pole, two coats of white colour cement base paint on pole and two coats of aluminium paint to channels, cross arm, clamps and pipes fixed/ mounted on pole after scratching out old paint, cleaning and making exiting surface rust free, preparation of the existing surface, including marking pole numbers in a 15 cm dia yellow circle with number writing with black synthetic paint/ sticker complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for steel tubular poles (Swan neck street light pole) complete with cast iron base plate, final taper plug bolts, nuts & screws as specified type 410 SP-31, 9.0 meter long including painting all external exposed steel surfaces with two coats of aliminium paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer and all internal surfaces and external surfaces in contact with concrete with two coats of black bituminous paint & two strips of Yellow/Red paint as per existing pattern through out the circumference of pole complete all as specified and as directed including taking down old existing concrete poles / struts any size after demolition of foundation complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing factory made junction box IP-66 (weather proof), outdoor installation for street light of size 205 x 255x 112 mm made of high quality polycarbonate (shock proof, rust proof, corrosion free, acid and chemical resistant, fire retardant having high impact(IK 08) totally insulated made of Halogen and silica free recycle material, UV resistant having high grade gasket made of polyurethane with terminal including MCB SP 6 Amps breaking capacity 10KA with cable glands and fixing to the street light pole with 02 nos 25x3mm thick MS Clamp, nut, bolt etc including taking down old unserviceable junction box complete all as specified and as directed. Make : Hansel (Model -DK 2500G) or techno commercially equivalent make as listed in List of Makes and as approved by the GE. Note : Contractor shall provide cable lugs and PVC gland of suitable size if required on site for connecting cable in junction box.

Supply and fixed in repairs 20 mm nominal bore dia, UPVC pipes of pressure rating 10 kgf/cm2 fixed to pole, any type including provision MS clamp of size 20mm x 3mm flat at interval of 1.5 m length complete all as specified and as directed

Supplying and fixing single run 3 core, 2.50 sqmm nominal cross sectional area multistranded copper conductor cable, over all PVC sheathed, 1100 Volts grade confirming to IS-694-2010 (FRLS) heavy duty cable PVC insulated and PVC sheathed from pole junction box to light fitting complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrodes of size600x600x6mm thick buried directly in ground with earth pit not less than 2.25 meter deep below normal ground level with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 meter below normal ground level connected to galvanised wire 4.00 mm earth lead by means of nuts, bolts, check nuts and washers including 15 mm bore galvanized iron pipe, medium grade for protection of earth lead upto the length of 7.5 meter towards test terminal and 20 mm bore galvanized iron pipe, medium grade for watering, and providing of charcoal and common salt in alternate layers, including necessary earth work in any type of soil and including type B1 pit in PCC 1:2:4 with provision of wire mesh and funnel, complete all as shown in electrical plate No 5 of SSR Part- I including testing complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and laying & testing cable XLPE insulated screened, PVC bedded, galvanised, steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable, (heavy duty) 1100 volts grade, with stranded aluminium conductor of size 3.5 core 300 Sqmm complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No. 26 above but cross sectional area 95 Sqmm 3.5 core complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No. 26 above but cross sectional area 70 Sqmm 3.5 core complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No. 26 above but cross sectional area 25 Sqmm 4 core complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix cable jointing kit for 1.1 KV grade cable for end termination joints complete with Jointing material heat Shrink type and accessories suitable for 3 ½ core XLPE, armoured, aluminium conductor cable of size upto 400 sqmm, Indoor/Outdoor type complete all as specified and as directed.

Relaying serviceable cables in trenches, ducts, on wall, pole etc after testing of retrieved cable by megger including with all fixing and connecting accessories such as aluminium cable lugs, cable gland nuts, bolts and washers complete all as directed. Note : Excavation, earthwork, cable joints, sand cushioning & cable cover will be measured and paid separately as required.

M&L for boring of holes under road, pavement, hard standing by trenchless technology using ultra sound technique and necessary machine including HDPE pipe of 150 mm dia suitable for 0.4 mpa working pressure complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing in repair for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required for 32 mm x 6 mm thick, galvanised iron strip using porcelain clit /post insulators, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600 × 600 × 6mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less 'than 1.5 metres below normal ground level, connected to galvanised iron strip 32×6mm as earthing lead by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers including 15mm bore galvanised iron pipe medium grade for watering and providing charcoal and common salf in alternative layer including necessary earth work in any type of soil and including PCC pit in type B1 1:2:4 with provision of wire mesh and funnel complete all as shown in electrical plate No. 5 connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including testing complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down existing LT panel board by disconnecting all incoming and outgoing cables, earthing connection, dismantling PCC and making good the disturbed surface complete all as specified and as directed.
