REPAIR/MAINTENANCE OF HT OVERHEAD LINE, TRANSFORMERS VCB DO FUSE PANEL BOARD AND ALLIED WORKS OF HT NETWORK AT NAA UNDER GE(N) TEZPUR

Materials and labour for carrying out periodical maintenance two pole/ four pole structure of 11 KV distribution system including replacing of damaged / rusted bolt nuts, greasing to all moving parts of GOD/ AB switch, tightening of all loose bolts, applying petroleum gelly to AB switch contact. Checking and tightening of earth connections, tightening of bracket, clamps , and crimping of Jumpers etc complete all as specified and directed.

(b) with two set GOD Note for Item No. 1:- (a) Required tools & plant including lifting arrangement, etc shall be included in the rate quoted.

NOTE (to be adhered to in addition to the provision vide Sch 'A' Note No 25 on Page No 16 of Tender documents):- (a) This item shall be operated for breakdown of electric supply and all works involved in rectifying the defect and restoring power supply shall be considered as one job, Record of calls shall be maintained on a pucca bound register duly signeg by the contractor or his authorised representative and the Engr-in-charge and shall be produced while claiming payment against this item. (b) The contractor shall provide two mobile numbers herein under through which the message regarding breakdown shall be notified to the contractor in an emergency:- (i) Mobile Number of electrician_______________ (ii) Mobile Number of helpers _______________ (c) Contractor may be asked to deploy electricians and helpers to rectify the breakdown within barest minimum time during night also if required and work shall be continued uninterrupted till restoration of power supply irespective of time and situation. Quoted rate shall be deemed to include this component and no claim whatsoever shall be entertained on this account. (d) The Electricians/Helpers deployed shall have adequate experience of working on Live HT/LT lines from the approved agency.

(e) All sorts of transporation (mechanised, manual operated, hand cart etc) as required for the execution of the item shall be provided by the contractor and cost there of shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted against the item. (f) All requisite safety arrangements including arrangement of first aid for workmen in terms of relevant laws and acts governing the contract and as contained in MES Safety Code and electrical safety rules shall be considered as mandatory contractual obligation of the contractor. (g) All T & P required for execution of the item shall be provided by the contractor under their own arrangement and cost there of shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted against the item.

(h) The contractor or his rep shall reach at the site of breakdown within one hour of notification of breakdown on telephone/email. In case the rep of contractor or contractor himself fails to reach at site of breakdown and not starts rectifying the fault to attends breakdown within one hour, penalty of Rs 1500/- per hour per breakdown shall be imposed on this account. Record in respect of this provision shall be maintained by the E-in-C duly authenticated under contractor or his authorised rep's signature and shall be produced while claiming any payment under this contract. (j) The contractor or his authorized representative shall be solely responsible to take shut down of any feeder of any voltage under AGE E/M GE(N) Tezpur for repair & maint of any items and he himself be responsible for any accident or mishap due to any uncertain reason and no compensation in this regard shall be borne by the department for reason whatsoever. (k) Contractor shall be bound to follow the instructions as notified by the concerned unit and he himself shall be responsible for any lapses in security/information of national interest. NOTE: (i) Excavation and earth work, HT/LT Cables, Cable jointing kit, Brick/Tile Protection shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of these BOQs.

Dismantling and taking down defective unserviceable any type of transformers indoor/outdoor,by disconnect HT & LT connections from plinth/ platform/ pole mounted and shifting to workshop for carry out repair (rewinding) works as directed and reinstall back in original location including re-connection of HT & LT supply system including testing complete all as specified and directed for the following capacity 50 KVA to 400 KVA.(Note spare items required for repair including rewinding will be measured and paid seperately under respective items of Sch. Note:- (a) Required tools & plant including lifting arrangement, transport etc shall be included in the rate quoted. (b) Any damage occurred during lifting/ transporting, the firm will be responsible to rectify such defect free of cost.

M&L for opening of top cover by unscrewing nut, bolts & washers etc and taking out core assy from tank by disconnecting from tap changer HT/LT side busing stud to outside by dismantling the channel and disconnecting star delta connection of capacity 50 to 400 KVA including draining out complete transformer oil at workshop from transformer under repair and storing the same in suitable container(container to be provided by the contractor to keep aside for reuse after repair) and lifting of core assy and other items for inspection/examination in wksp cleaning the transformer chamber (body) inside and outside throughly with emery paper and cloth then checked the winding and other worn out parts such as HT/LT coils silicon stamping and other connected items as tap changer, breather assembly etc and replacement of HT/LT coil winding with DPC enamelled copper/strand/bar/strip of adequate size and number of turn complete and connected to existing serviceable strip by jointing with soldring and re insulated of cotton tape over strip including using insulating material like varnish to limb coil fire proof type and sleeves etc by drying and baking of insulating material in heating chamber in adequate temperature reassembling the transformer LT/HT connection with help of soldering, testing of transformer after reassembly complete on no load at workshop and on load at site incl painting to the transformer with super enammed paint complete all as specified and directed. Note: HT/LT coils, tap chamger, transformer oil and other connected items shall be measured & paid seperately. Note for Ser No 2 & 3 : (i) Exact requirement of repair, replacement etc shall be ascertained by a BOO to be ordered by the GE after opening of the transformer cover and the work shall be executed accordingly. The BOO shall inspect the defective transformer in presence of the E-in-C and contractor or his authorised representative (ii) Transformer to be repaired in authorized/well reputed workshop having the facility to carry out all repairs and having testing equipments and test bench for testing of transformer.

Overhauling, servicing and shifting of 11 KV, 3 phase 50 Hz 630A VCB fedder of the HT Panel complete cleaning of male and female contacts tightening the connection,checking of wiring system, replacement of minor/u/s space parts such as spring, nut bolt ,washers ,required aluminium strip, replacement of backelite and flass fibre sheet and setting right the mechanism, recalibrating using dummy load for fault etc and reassembling, testing, commissioning shifting by transport from Power house no. 8 to Haleswer pump house 7B at 4EW etc as required, incl incoming and outgoing connections complete all as specified and directed. Note: Exact requirement of repair, replacement etc shall be ascertained by a BOO to be ordered by the GE after opening of the transformer cover and the work shall be executed accordingly. The BOO shall inspect the defective transformer in presence of the E-in-C and contractor or his authorised representative

Materials and labour for replacement of silica gel of breather including providing silica gel as per the existing size / model complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & Fix in repacement of complete breather assembly with silica gel screwing and making threads on existing size of the transformer 50 KVA - 400KVA complete all as specifed and directed

Materials and labour for removing the burnt out/ damaged LV bushes with porcelain insulator and replace with Brass LV bushes, nuts , check nuts, rubber washer etc complete as per the existing size / model, for transformers of capacity 50 to 400 KVAcomplete all as specified and directed.

Dehydration and filtration of transformer oil of transformers capacity ranging from 50 KVA to 400 KVA (11/0.433 KV) on site at different locations with filtration machine in order to achieve desired Di-electric strength of oil upto 60KV maximum at 2.5 mm gap complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply & filling up of transformer oil conforming to IS -335 of 1993 up to desired level complete all as specified and as directed. [Note: Dielectric strength of oil should not be less than 60KV complete all as specified and directed.] (Make : POWER OIL/SERVO/CASTRO/GULF or equivalent as approved)

Dismantling Insulators like Pin type, disc type for HT from existing Electric Poles of any description and any size, complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F of Insulator Pin type 150mm Height, 150mm dia for 11 KV grade, Porcelain, Vitreous, White, Brown or Green including one Galvanised Mild Steel Spindle, Two Galvanised Iron Washers and One Galvanised Iron Nut, complete all as specified and as directed

S&F Disc type insulator porcelain, vitreous,145mm high and 255mm dia ball and socket Type white, brown or green insulator single Disc Assembly with Tension Clamps for working pressure 11000 Volts, complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling Gang Operated Device from 2/4 pole structure complete all as specified and directed

Supply and install, testing and commissioning gang operated air break off load connecting switch HT 11 KV 3 triple pole, each pole consists of galnvanised steel base., vertical type with 12 post insulator non ferrous knife and spring loaded contacts, arcing horns complete with drop out fuse element assembly, operating rod of GI size 20mm(without joint) suitable size and locking arrangement connections with PG clamps and sleeves etc required for current rating 200 Amps capacity, including taking down of U/S with channel complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing of lightning arrester high tension of 11000 V grade expulsion type complete with all fittings, transmission class, discharge capacity 65KA including taking down of old complete all as specified and directed.

Materials and Labour for Earthing complete with Copper earth plate electrode of size 600 mm x 600 mm x 3.15 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 meter deep below ground level with top edge of the earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5M below normal ground level connected to Copper strip 20 mm x 3mm by means of bolts, nuts check nuts and washers of galvanized steel and connected to main switch board or main control board as directed and including provision of concrete pit in PCC (1:3:6) type C1, pre-cast RCC (1:2:4) type B1 cover slab 54 cm x 54 cm x 5 cm (Reinforced with 8 mm dia. TMT bars @ 150 mm, center to center both ways) with one handle for lifting made out of 8 mm dia. MS bar, provision of funnel, wire mesh, 20 mm bore galvanized steel tubing (Medium grade) for watering, charcoal or coke and salt in alternate layers, 40 mm bore galvanized steel tubing light grade for protection of earth lead connection, necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil and including necessary testing complete all as shown on electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part-I (2009) complete as specified and directed.

Materials and labour Galvanised Iron strip of size 32mm x 6.0mm with saddles and fixing screw etc. For earth continuity conductor including taking down of U/S complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out unserviceable UG Cables of any Cross Sectional Area with Connections and joints including Pipes, Bricks, etc of any description laying in trenches or fixing with Walls/ Poles, segregating serviceable Bricks/ Precast covers, Pipes, Cables etc, and keep in safe custody for reuse, complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE : Earthwork will be measured and paid under appropriate Items.

Supply laying, jointing and testing cable XLPE insulated,screened, PVC bedded , galvanized steel strip or wire armoured electric power cables (heavy duty) with aluminium conductor conforming to IS:7098 (Part 11), 11 KV earthed grade, cross sectional area 120 sq mm 3 core complete all as specified and directed.

Supply laying, jointing and testing cable XLPE insulated,screened, PVC bedded , galvanized steel strip or wire armoured electric power cables (heavy duty) with aluminium conductor conforming to IS:7098 (Part 11), 11 KV earthed grade, cross sectional area 95 sq mm 3 core complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out unserviceable HT cable joint kit of any Cross Sectional Area with Connections and joints from cable, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply & fixing GI Pipe light grade 100 mm dia, ISI marked, of required length for protection of cables complete including necessary MS clamps, nuts, bolts and washers etc to be fixed to poles/in trenches complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling Stay Assembly with acessories complete all as specified and directed

M & L for stay assembly in replacement comprising of 7/4.0mm galvanised MS stranded wire of required length fixed to pole with and including flat iron clamps fabricated out of 50 x 6mm flat iron and nuts, bolts and washers of suitable size, 40 cm long 20 mm dia galvanised MS stay bow, 215 cms long 20 mm dia stay rod threaded end with nuts and washers, MS stay plate galvanised 300 x 300 x 6mm, two thimble, loop insulators of size 65 x 90mm, clearance dia of hole 20 mm including excavation (.60x0.60x1.8m),earth work & PCC (1:4:8) type D2 using 40mm stone aggregate complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and Labour for Plain cement concrete 1:3:6 type C1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate in cement mortar 1:4 for coping incl necessary formwork complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling Cross-Arms of Mild Steel Channel or Angle Sections, etc of any size, including Mild Steel Bolts, Nuts, Washers, etc., complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Cross-arms, Bracings, Supports, Clamps and Back Plates fabricated from Structural Steel Sections including Nuts, Bolts, Washer, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for Bolts, in any shape or size as indicated/ directed and inclusive of two coats of Aluminium Paint over a Coat primer, complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling unserviceable broken Steel Tubular Pole/ four pole structure/HT RCC/PCC Pole of any description and any size including demolition of Cement Concrete (as/if required) and made good disturbed Ground, complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE : Unserviceable Poles will be dismantled and disturbed ground will made good as directed for which Earthwork, demolition of Cement Concrete, etc. deemed to be included in the rate.

Supply & Erecting Steel Tubular Swaged Pole Type 410-SP-55 (11.0 Metre long) including Cast Iron Base Plate, Finial Taper Plug, Cap, Mild Steel Bolts, Nuts, Screws including applying two coats of Black Bituminous paint from bottom End of Pole upto PCC Coping and applying with two coats of Aluminium Painting over a coat of Primer (Externally from Top of Coping), including earth work, excavation (0.6x0.6x1.95m), PCC 1:3:6 using 40mm graded sone aggregate for foundation and coping with 1:2:4 using 20mm stone aggregate and smooth finish complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling ACSR or Conductors of any size and any span complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F of Aluminium Conductor Steel Reinforced (ACSR) of suitable size including providing Jumper, etc., fixing on Electric Poles and binding to Insulators with Aluminium Binding Wire as in OH Conductors including stringing, tightening, etc., complete all as specified and as directed.

Restringing ACSR Conductor span consisting of 03 conductors incl two earth wire of existing OH Lines of any description, re-fixing after stretching, re-stringing the Conductor, removing excess Sag, maintaining proper distance between Conductors as ordered, and binding with Aluminium Binding Wire complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE : Cost of Binding Wire is deemed to be included in the Quoted Unit Rate.

Dismantling Earth Wire, Cradle Guarding, etc., complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F of Cradles, hexagonal/ rectangular with Galvanised Steel Wire with 4.00mm dia including binding with Aluminium Binding Wire, complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE : Cost of Binding Wire is deemed to be included in the Quoted Unit Rate.

Cutting of green growth and wild grass by manual labour or by machine at Electrical Installation Premises, around Pole, along the Fencing, removing rubbish from the Site of Work and deposting where directed not exc. 100 Metre from the starting Point, complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE : The Item shall be operated maximum 4 times in the entire period of the Contract and the measurement will be taken every time independently for Payment.

Cutting and trimming of tree branches to clear the over head lines in the arc 1.5 mtr from all sides of HT overhead lines /feeders(including reparing and jointing of ACSR conductor if damaged during cutting of trees) and removal of trimmed branches of tree and depositing the same in waste bin inside the campus all as specifed and directed. ( Span length not more than 65 mtr)

Material and labour for painting to steel tubular pole 9.00/11.0 metre long with two coats of synthetic enamel paint up to 1.50 metre height from ground level in 30 cm alternative black and yellow strips and remaining portion with alluminium paint incl numbering of pole no by stensils and MS frames like channel,clamps, angle, D-clamps etc with two coats of aluminium paint complete all as specified and directed.

Materials and labour for painting of HT RCC pole, 9/11 mtr long, any type or size externally above foundation with two coats of Cement based paint after scrapping / clearing well the existing surface incl fixing of flouroscent strip Red and yellow .incl painting with strips of Black and yellow of 30 cm width each, upto 1.5 mtr from bottom of the pole and two coats of alluminium paint over all the MS structural work complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix danger notice plate of 1.6 mm thick mild steel sheet vitreous enamelled white with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with M S Clamps, bolt and nut approved size for HT poles, 25x20cm size including taking out old unserviceable danger notice plate complete all as specified and directed.

Note: Exact requirement of repair, replacement etc shall be ascertained by a BOO to be ordered by the GE after opening of the transformer cover and the work shall be executed accordingly. The BOO shall inspect the defective transformer in presence of the E-in-C and contractor or his authorised representative

M&L for rewinding of HT coil with copper super enamelled high quality wire of existing gauge including necessary insulating material in each layer of winding all as specified and directed.

Ditto all as item no. here-in- before but LT coil.

NOTES: 1. The amount of schedule of credit shall be deducted from the total of this BOQ for arriving at contract sum. 2. The rates for RCC/PCC shall deemed to include the cost of formwork, shuttering etc., required for complete and proper execution of the item. Refer Schedule "A" notes for details.
