REPAIR TO ROOF, CHAJJAS, MISC B/R WORKS IN CERTAIN BLDGS AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS AND CERTAIN REPAIR/ MAINT OF MISC B/R WORKS AT ZONE A AND B AT PMS UNDER GE (ARMY) TRIVANDRUM

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in roofs, floors (other than ground floors), beams, staircases, landing, chajjas and similar suspended work complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 40 mm thick, PCC 1:2:4, Type B-0, using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate over RCC roof as levelling course complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 10 mm thick cement plaster on fair faces of brick work/ concrete surfaces in cement mortar 1:3, mixed with water proofing compound @ 3% by the weight of cement, finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. Note: Cost of Water proofing compound shall be included in this quoted rate.

M&L for water proofing treatment over RCC slab by applying bitumen primer @ 0.27 Lit/SqM conforming to IS 3384- 1986, provide and lay 4 mm thick APP modified membrane not less than 4.50 Kg/SqM , reinforced with non woven polyester matt weighing not less than 160 gm/SqM having softening point not less than 140 degree centigrade, longitudinal tensile strength not less than 650 N/5cm ,tearing strength of 180 N , a static puncture resistance of 180, keeping minimum 10 cm side overlap and 15 cm end overlap and apply by torch application over a coat of blown grade hot bitumen grade VG-10 conforming to IS 702 heated to a working temperature of 180 centigrade and applied @ 1.20 Kg/SqM of the surface area and finishing the top surface with solar reflective bituminous aluminium paint @ 0.10 Kg/SqM complete all as specified and directed by Engr- In- Charge . Note: (a) 10 years guarantee certificate to be submitted by the contractor. (b) Water proofing treatment will be done by manufacturer of APP membrane or through their authorised specialised agency/applicator which will further have to rectification of any defect if incurred at a later stage, otherwise no payment shall be made to the contractor if water proofing treatment is executed otherwise.

Dismantling of wall and ceiling boards (fibre, pulp, insulation, etc.) or insulation boards/slabs/blankets, any thickness, including cover fillets and snap grid frame work complete all as specified and directed.

S&F anodised aluminium snap grid frame work (size of grid 605x605 mm) with 35x25x1.5 mm main tee and 25x25x1.4 mm cross tee and wall angle for false ceiling complete all as specified and directed.

S&F hangers 6 mm dia. G.I. (upto 1200mm length) adjusting level fixed to roof slabs by means of ceiling cleats made out of G.I. flat 40 x 3 mm size 60mm long and expansion hold fasteners 12.5mm dia. 40mm long complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 4 mm thickness non-asbestos fibre cement building boards (decorative type) fixed or laid/ inserted to timber/ GI/ Aluminium framework with screws complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling plain or corrugated steel sheets, any gauge, thickness, including Nainital or similar pattern roof coverings complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Pre-painted galvalume aluminium zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/ cladding to wall, fixed with self-tapping screws/ J-hooks complete all as specified and directed.
