Following to be carried out on both main HP air compressors as part of refit routines and system to be proved for correct operation: - (a) Remove and inspect / replace complete valves. (b) Inspect piston rings. (c) Replace gudgeon pins / gudgeon pins bearings. (d) Replace valves. (e) Remove coupling. Check flexible gear rim of the coupling for damage.

Both HP air compressors SV mounts deteriorated. SV mounting to be renewed as per sample. Qty – 04 Nos for each.

Overhauling of motor (415V, 3-Phase, 50HZ, 11KW) of HP air compressor to be carried out

Overhauling of starter panel of HP air compressor to be carried out. Carryout setting of pressure/temperature switches and threshold settings. Calibration of 02 in no. over load relay (16 – 20 Amp) to be carried out. Calibration Certificate to be provided.

(a) Check condition of turn buckles provided with exhaust system of Main Engine, Main DG, Harbour DG, Emergency DG, Steam Generator and incinerator. Qty-10 no.

(b) Clean silencers on exhaust system of Main Engine, Main DG, Harbour DG, Emergency DG, Steam Generator and incinerator.

Main Engine- 350mm x 1000mm

Main DA- 250mm x 1000mm

Harbour DA- 180mm x 600mm

Emergency DA- 100mm x 500mm

Steam Generator -125mm x 400mm

Incinerator-125mm x 400mm

(c) Check condition of expansion bellows in exhaust system of Main Engine, Main DG, Harbour DG, Emergency DG, Steam Generator and incinerator. Scope includes removal of lagging checking of bellows, repairs/renewal if any and refitment of bellows in position and re-lagging. *** Spares including bellow CG supply.

Overhaul the compressor and engine and replace spares as required and Prove for satisfactory operation. Air quality to be checked through competent firm and certificate to be submitted post overhauling.

Overhaul the compressor inclusive of spares and consumables as required and Prove for satisfactory operation. Air quality to be checked through competent firm and certificate to be submitted post overhauling.

EQUIPMENT : WORKSHOP EQPT-LATHE MAKE : PANTHER, TYPE : 2050X1, SL NO. : HX440, QUANTITY : 01 No (ENGG WORKSHOP)

(a) Check condition of distributor seal D1 100 and DE 275 200

(b) Check and take out distributor for clutch. Replace bronze bush

(c) Change drive belt

(d) Check condition of cross feed screw and nut

(e) Trial run and measure braking time as per OS

(f) Clean all lubrication jets with a needle and check functioning of oil sight glass.

(g) Check oil jets are correctly directed to the meshing points of gears and bearings

(h) Check condition of bed and bed fittings

(j) Inspect lathe foundation

(k) Check for proper functioning of electrical items especially contactors

(l) Check whether overload relay is set correctly

(m) Check whether all standard tools and accessories are in good condition and Prove for satisfactory operation.

(a) Check thermostat element, change if necessary.

(b) Clean fuel tank, exhaust silencer

(c) Check valve clearance adjust if necessary

(d) Renew injector and main element of dry type air cleaner

(e) Calibrate fuel pump

(f) Carry out Top overhauling and Prove for satisfactory operation.

(a) Change oil.

(b) Air filter catridge replacement, check all the valves and clean condensate separator.

(c) Check the piston ring.

(d) Replace gudgeon pin/ gudgeon pin bearing.

(e) Check the coupling.
