MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS REQUIRED FOR B/R & E/M SERVICES (Sch 'A' Part-XV)

EARTHWORK, SITE CLEARANCE AND SITE DEVELOPMENT Bringing approved Earth may be mixed with granules / pebbles not exceeding 40 mm size (as approved by Garrison Engineer) from sources outside defence land including all cost such as royalty if any, transportation, taxes if any etc. complete all as specified and directed. NOTE :- (a) Earth required for the item shall be supplied by contractor from outside of MOD land at any lead, at his own arrangement. (b) All cost of procurement of earth including cost of transportation, compaction royalties, tax etc shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor. (c) Forming embankments / filling in low lying areas including raising (or lowering) earth, spreading in layers not exceeding 30 cm thick, watering ramming / rolling and finishing of required size, shape etc not exceeding 1.5 m high from base / natural ground level. (d) With reference to Clause 3.6 of MES Schedule Part-II on Serial Page No. 21, it is clarified that measurement of the above item shall be of finished embankment / traverse of filled earth after consolidation / compaction and 5% deduction shall be made from measured and calculated volume to allow for increase in bulk. (e) Total quantity / partial quantity of earth may not be available in Missamari Area. The contractor shall bring the earth outside area and it is advised to quote the rate considering available of soil and its lead involved.

Supply and installation of Raised Pavement Marker (RPM) with polycarbonate lens electronically welded with the RPM body. The marker shall be scratch proof and abrasion resistant microprismatic polycarbonate lens with polycarbonate reflective panels with dual prismatic cubes capable providing total internal reflection. Dimention : The dimension of the marker is heght 15.88 mm, width 101.6mm, length 89.2 mm. COMPREHENSIVE MAINTENANCE OF LIFT

All as per Srl Item No. 15.45 to 15.50 here-in-above but for next twelve months from the next day after completion of 36 months.

Technicians for communication with the contractor, JE E/M or AGE E/M concerned for smooth comunication purpose.

Comprehesive maintenance of electrically operated passenger lift through OEM of the make installed in the preceding phase for day to day routine/periodical maintenance including supply and changing of all consumable lubricants, water removal from pit to maintain the lifts in serviceable condition complete all as specified in para 16 of section 5 of part 8 of NBC 2016 including daily maintenance of necessary records & documents complete and rescue of entrapped passenger through out a day by deploying Lift Technician (Skilled ITI qualified with minimum 02 years experience) on all days of numbers commensurate with Central labour rules all as specified and directed.
