Equipments and switchgear

Design, manufacture, testing , supply & delivery of 11KV 400 A, 25kA G.O. switches complete with manually operated equipment and accessories required for their satisfactory operation for their use on distribution sub-station and tapping/sectionalizing points of 11 KV lines.

Design, manufacture, testing , supply & delivery of 11KV, outdoor, open, dropout (D.O.) explusion type fuse units, complete with manually operated equipment and accessories required for their satisfactory operation for their use on distribution sub-station and tapping/sectionalizing points of 11 KV lines.

Poles & Conductor:-

11.00 Mtr. Long ISI marked swaged steel tubler pole as per IS 2713, 1980( Part_II) as amended from time to time, along with cap weilded top and cast iron base plate, of designation 410 SP-47 (To be provided by HPSEBL Qty 16 Nos.)

RCC pipe (Muff) ISI marked suitable for different sizes of steel poles. 2000 mm in length and 25 mm thick with 250 mm internal dia duly fabricated by using un-galvanized MS wires of 12 SWG rings and 6 mm MS round in vertical direction conforming to ISI 458-1988 or latest version if any.

ISI marked ACSR "Dog" conductor of size 6/1/3.35 mm conforming to IS-398 (Part-II)/1996 with up to date amendments.

Insulators:-

11 kV Pin Insulator( Porcelain, 12 kV, 5 kN, CD 320 mm)

11 KV Disc insulator ( 12kV, 90kN, BS) including hard ware fittings like Dead End Clamps suitbale for ACSR 6/1/3.35 mm conductor , bend staples and straight staples etc. for dead structures

Stay Sets:-

Stay Set Suitable for 11KV made of M.S. Round 1800mm in length, 18mm dia having threads up to 300mm on one end with one nut and one check nut to avoid slippage and eye of 40mm dia on other side and welded , egg insulators and clamps confirming to REC specification. Elbow made of MS channel iron 75x40x6mm, 250mm long and M.S. Round 18mm dia, vertical height 450mm, both ends bend after putting in two holes in channel iron taking the ends out 25mm minimum in length and welded with channel iron. One anchor of Angle Iron 65x65x6mm, 750mm in length with one hole of 20mm dia in the centre. The complete stay set shall be painted with superior quality black Japan paint.

Stay Wire:-

Galvanized Stay Strand conforming to ISS-2141/1992 Edition 2002-05 (with upto date amendments) with heavy coating Zinc hot Dip Galvanized as per ISS-4826/1979 (2001-06) (latest)of following grade and size:- Grade -4 Size 7/3.15mm (7/10SWG)

EARTHING:-

Earthing set suitable for HT line made of GI pipe 40 mm dia (internal dia) wall thickness 3.25 mm medium quality pipe of standard make conforming to IS: specifications 2500 mm long with GI Socket closed at top pipe shall have holes of 12 mm dia every 150 mm apart throughout the length and staggered diameterically. Full clamps of MS Flat 40x3 mm fitted at top end of the pipe along with bolts and nuts size 50x12 mm and washers for fixing the clamp on the pipe. The bottom end of the pipe shall be tapered cut at 45 degree.

ISI marked Galvanised Mild Steel wire conforming to ISS-280/1978/2006 (with up to date amendments ) for general engineering purpose, having fine finish, hot dip galvanised, with heavy coating of Zinc as per ISS-4826/1979 (2001-06)(latest) in soft condition and of size 4.00 mm (8 SWG)

MS Channel 100x50x6 mm Cross Arm: Fabrication and supply of Cross arms suitable for 11 KV made of only TATA/SAIL/RASHTRIYA ISPAT or conforming to IS: 2062:2006 M.S. Channel Iron 100x50x6 mm Cross Arm, suitable for fixing on both Steel and PCC Poles whatever is required single/double pole structure of 11KV line with holes at suitable places wherever required to adjust 5/8” dia nuts and bolts, pin insulators, ball cleaves, eye socket and washers. The weight of MS channel should be strictly 13.10 Kg per meter with a variation of +/-5%. The Cross Arm should be duly painted with two coat red oxide paint of superior quality:

MS Channel 75x40x6 mm Cross Arm: Fabrication and supply of Cross arms suitable for 11 KV made of only TATA/SAIL/RASHTRIYA ISPAT or conforming to IS: 2062:2006 M.S. Channel Iron 75x40x6 mm Cross Arm, suitable for fixing on both Steel and PCC Poles whatever is required single/double pole structure of 11KV line with holes at suitable places wherever required to adjust 5/8” dia nuts and bolts for supporting GO Switch / DO Fuse units. The weight of MS channel should be strictly 7.14 Kg per meter with a variation of +/-5%. The Cross Arm should be duly painted with two coat red oxide paint of superior quality:

Fabrication and supply of Cross Bracing set suitable for 11 KV made of only TATA/SAIL/Rashtriya ispat M.S. Angle Iron of size 50x50X6 mm having length of 1.5 mtrs. 2 Nos. Straight Members and 02 Nos. cross members of length 2.125 mtrs. confirming to REC specifications suitable for easily fixing on both PCC and steel poles as per requirement. (each set) having fitted with 4 Nos clamps of M.S. Flat of size 65X6 mm and 9 Nos bolts of size 75X16 mm (Approximate weight 43 Kg.)

Fabrication and supply of knee bracing set suitable for 11 kV made of only TATA/SAIL/Rashtriya Ispat M.S. Angle Iron (2x750x50x50 mm) conforming to REC Specifications suitable for fixing on both PCC and Steel Tubular poles)

Fabrication and supply of knee bracing for supporting GO switch cross arm of only TATA/SAIL/Rashtriya Ispat M.S. Angle Iron 450mm (50x50x6mm) conforming to REC Specifications suitable for fixing on both PCC and Steel Tubular poles)

M.S. Hexagon Bolts and Nuts with washers conforming to ISI-1363-1992 off size.

Danger Plate Size: 250x200 mm made of mild steel plates 1.6 (minimum) thick vitreous enameled white letter figure, conventional skill and X-Boxes and signal red colour on front side for use in HPSEBL. The rear side of the plate shall be black enameled and conforming to IS specifiction no. IS-1351/1982 suitable for 33KV.

Installation and erection of 11 kV drop out fuse unit (D.O.) and fixing of the supporting Cross arms, belts and insulator etc. for completion of the job including Providing and painting with Aluminium paint

Installation of the Double Pole Dead End Structure( 11m steel tubler Pole) complete in all respect including: I. Digging of pits.II. Erection of the Poles. III. Electric Drilling of the holes in poles for fixing the hardware fittings. IV. Muffing with RCC Muff and concreting. V. Fixing of the fittings like Cross Arms ,Cross bracing sets. VI. Fixing of the fittings like Cross Arms ,Cross bracing sets. VII. Providing and fixing of the pole clamps as per specification for the completion of job. VIII. Fixing of the Danger Plate. IX. Providing and Painting of the structure with Aluminium Paint. X. Providing and fixing of the ACD of barbed wire.

Stringing and Sagging

Stringing and sagging of the 11 kV HT line with ASCR 6/1/3.35 mm (50 mm sq) Conductor including the necessary Jumpering and Providing of the necessary hardware fittings.

Sagging of the Single Continious earth wire GI ( 8SWG) along with Guarding at Road Crossing or suitable placing along with Cross lacing @ 2m

Erection of Stay Sets suitable for 11 kV including fixing of stay wire etc. complete in all respect.

Erection of Earthing set suitable for 11 kV HT line complete in all respect.

Testing and commissioning of the complete installation.
