How ever if seat pressure exceeds the limit prescribed in above mentioned BIS than it shall be of cast steel conforming to class ASA-150 for seat pressure upto 21Kg/cm2 or Class ASA-300 for seat pressure 21 Kg/cm2 ASA 150 for seat pressure.

The reflux valve shall be of class ASA- 150 conforming to BS: 1868 ( API 600 )

Supply of Kirloskar /Kilburn / TVC/ Fouress/ Gled/ BHEL / Leader Kartar make cast steel double flanged swing check type reflux valve 150mm having bye-pass arrangements & size equal to dia of Rising Main i.e. 150mm & shall be suitable for with standing nominal seat pressure of 52Kg./cm2 of class ASA-150 conforming to BS:1868( API-600) with upto date ammendments.NOTE: Ther C.I. reflux valve shall confirm to BIS 5312-1984-part-i(latest eddition).However if the seat pressure exceeds the limits prescribed in BIS 5312 then it shall be of cast steel conforming to class ASA- 150 for seat pressure upto 21Kg/cm2 or class-ASA -300 for seat pressure 52Kg cm2 as per BS 1869 (API-600).

Providing & laying PVC insulated jointless, flat water proof copper cable of Siemens/Finolex/ Grandlay/Gloster make conforming to BIS: 1554(P-1)1988 or latest with upto date ammend-ments of suitable size for pump sets offered (One cable 3 carrying all three phases) including all other electric al equipment /acessories such as thimmble flexible pipe solder,nuts & bolts & bolts cable4 gland etc., laid in pipes or trenches un der floor. The type size & make will be subject to approval of HPSEB authorities. In case of non acceptance by HPSEB authorities it shall have to be replaced by the tenderer free of cost.

Providing and laying MSERW/ GI pipes of suitable size for suction ,delivery and common header considering site requirements & NPSH required/available.The pipe sizes for suction and delivery shall as per the requirements of offered pump (to be given by the tenderer)and common header shall have area to equal to two times the area of delivery pipe of pump or equal to dia of Rising main including tapers,flanges,bends,rubber gasket,4.8mm thick nuts & bolt and speical upto 5 meters away from the outer wall of pump house as per layout drawing approved by Engineer-in-charge..The pipes material shall conform to relevent BIS codes and capable of of with standing FTP equal to 1.5 times the operating pressure and arrangement shall comprise of :

a) Suction pipe. 200--mm dia of 2 x5 mts. Length (4.8 mm as per BIS 1978-1982 of steel grade T-210 with flange table-28) b) Delivery pipe …150mm dia of 2x2 mts, length (---do---)

Errection of all equipments from S.No. 1 to 4,6 & 8 i/c cost of tees,bends,tapers & any other fittings required as per site conditions of Engineer-in-Charge.
