The MBBR tanks shall be made up with RCC sulphate resistant cement M30 or better grade with water leak proofing coating, corrosion resistant TMT steel bars Fe 415 grade or better and all walls and slab junctions are to be provided with vertical and horizontal haunches, with all finishing works like painting, lettering etc. complete including filling of required volume of MBBR media (high quality non-clogging, non-degradable, and with high attachability carriers as per specifications in Vol-II of NIT, carriers should have minimum specific surface area of 600m2/m3, specific gravity 0.98 or better to float/suspend in water). The bio-film formation and growth of suitable micro-organism using inoculation and seeding must be performed and sustained for the carrier before connecting to the sewage network/ co-treatment unit. Piping arrangements to flow liquid from one MBBR tank to next MBBR tank, fitting pipe and valve for removing sludge, fitting fine bubble air diffusers with EPDM/PTFE+EPDM/any better material, pipelines to supply air and protection arrangement to prevent escaping of MBBR media to next MBBR tank, fitting of agitator in MBBR-3, required bypass arrangements etc. to be done and all accessories for the satisfactory completion of work including ladders, walkway, hand rails etc. as per specifications in Vol-II of NIT and as per the direction of departmental officers. | - | each | - | - |
