REPAIRS / RESURFACING OF ROADS IN TECH AND NON TECH AREA AT INS KALINGA, INS KARNA AND NAD BHEEMUNIPATNAM UNDER GE (P) (N) KALINGA

M&L for repairs to pot holes any depth, not exc. 1 sqm each including sweeping, free from dust and mud, or water scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc., cutting around edges to atleast 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat with paving bitumen of grade VG-30 @ 5 kg per 10 sq m, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder of paving bitumen of grade VG-30, 9.8 kg per 10 sq m, blinded with 0.09 cu m of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings) for depth of pot holes exc 30 mm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Preparing black top surfaces of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Applying evenly a priming / tack coat with paving bitumen VG -30 at 5 Kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified.

M&L for laying 30 mm consolidated thickness bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete with 5.5% binder content with paving bitumen VG-30 by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient by using hot mix plant and mechanical paver equipment complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The binder content is indicated tentatively and shall be as per actual mix design. The rate of bitumen content shall not be less than specified in the item. No price adjustment for this purpose shall be admissible.

M&L for road marking strips, lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc., of 2.5 mm thick (reflective type) on new surfaces of road / pavements and the like including and not exceeding 10 cm wide with hot thermo plast material @ 5Kg/ sqm of white or golden yellow, by fully automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine, fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heaters and profile shoe heater etc., driven by the skilled operator on road surface complete all as per MORTH specifications and as directed.

Supply & Fixing in Reapirs Dual directional reflective cat eye (Road Glow sutd) of impact resistant ABS plastic 100 x 90 x 16 mm of ultra voilet resistant yellow colour, having micro prismatic / cube corner reflectors suitable for fixing with epoxy / bitumen adhesive as per manufacturer's specification / instructions complete all as specified and as directed. including dismantling the old cat eyes [Note : Appropriate epoxy adhseive on the road surface shall be provided as per manufacturers specifications / instructions before fixing the cat eye and the same is deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted. ]

Fixing only Servicable Cat Eyes Recived From Dismantling of Old Cat Eyes including dismantling of cat eyes Complete all as Specified and Directed.

Supply & fixing of Speed breaker of size 330 mm width and of height 45-47 mm rubberized, tough, strong, weather resistant capable to with stand weight of the vehicles comprises of segment of colour black/yellow. Length of one segment 500 mm and having 2 x 2= 4 Nos glass reflective lenses to a side suitable for fixing with steel zinc plated 12 x 120 mm nails.
