1.Diesel Engine Generating set 415 volts 125 KVA 3 -phase 0.8 power factor 50 Hz, 1500 RPM self exicited self regulated brushless AC generator installed including accoustic enclosure suitable for ambient at Jamnagar and confirming to condition under Alternator IS 4722/BS 5000 , Engine BS 5514 /ISO 3046 DG set ISO 8728with following NOTE:- (i) The capacity of Generator set shall be net after all due derating factors as per relevant ISI standard.

(ii) The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of first fill of lubricant oil and final successful acceptance test.

(ii) The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of 12 hours test run at site including of one hour on 10% overload in presence of representative detailed by accepting Officer, all arrangements are to be made by the contractor for tests.

(iv) Rate quoted shall be deemed to be included in making necessary holes to walls and making good to distrubed surfaces of match to original specification and connection up all as specified and directed.

(A). Alternator:- Standard design alternator rated at 125 KVA net output at site after considering derating as per site conditions at 0.8 (lag) power factor regulated screen protected drip proof IP 23 enclosure brushless design with winding in pole faces, insulating class 'H' and voltage regulation of + 1%, at rated voltage from no load to full load. The alternator shall be confirming to IS 4722/BS 5000 and shall be inposition to generate supply with frequency regulation with in + 1% tolerace. The alternator will be suitable for topical climate of Jamnagar.

(B) Diesel Engine:- Adequate capacity Diesel engine suitable for 125 KVA coupled drive independently above alternator and after considering derating as per site conditons after generating and reducing power consumed by accessories, directly coupled through flexible coupling, multi cylinder multi stroke direct injection, cold starting 1500 RPM, as per relevant BS 5514 /ISO 3046 with an overload capacity of 10% for one hour in 12 hours continuous running complete with standard accessories all as specified and required for safe handling and operation salient features of accessories shall be as under:-

(x) Generator Monitoring Panel : Comprising of following

(i) The generator control shall be indoor type ,floor mounted,dust and vermin proof in sheet steel construction .The panel shall have doors at the front and back for proper maintenance.The panel shall have steel channel fabricted kick plate and bolted type cable gland plate fitted at the bottom .the panel shall be constructed from 2 mm thick steel sheet .All the joints shall have proper gasket.

Monitoring and control devices shall be housed on the front door .Generally the construction of the panel will be such that various equipments for application will be housed in compartments.All incoming and outgoing power and control cables shall be from the bottom.

D. Acoustic enclosure: Enclosure is free standing floor mounted factory built and modular in construction to facilitate easy assemly at work site and will be drop over housing type. It will consist of acoustically treated panel housed in sheet steel will provide easy access for maintenance, repairs and operation. The enclosure is custom built to suit conditions, with the following features:-

(i) Custom built product for various equipments, with ensure the optimum preformance without duration.

(ii) Rugged in construction maintenance free and modular designs which facilitate easy at site.

(iii) 16 SWG (1.6 mm) thick CRCA sheets to be used for enclosure panel to ensure longer life against weathering action. High quality acoustic insulation materials to be used as per IS 8183 for maximum sound absorption. Acoustic layers are supported by perforated sheets .

(iv) Sheet metal components of the enclosure should undergo various stages of surface treatment prior to painting which leads to be better life of the enclosure against weathering action.

(v) Special paint treatment with pure polyester powder / epoxy to be provided for better weather resistance.

(vii) For effective acoustic / weather sealing a special type weather sealing gaskets, new frame rubber gaskets to used.

(viii) Working space is to be provided around the equipment for easy maintenance / repairs.

(ix) Necessary cut out provision for entry and exist of fuel lines cable to be incorporated in the enclosure as per the requirement.

(x) A see through transparent window ( glass or acrylic) in front of engine panel to provided for monitoring the operation.

(xi) Ducting if required, bellows, mechanical hardware like locks, hinges fasteners etc to be provided.

(xii) Deliverables. 75 DBA @ 1mtr at 75% load under free field conditions. The temp inside the enclosure will be within as per manufacturers recommendations above ambient temp.

(xiii) The enclosure should be proided with bulk head light fitting for inside illumination

(xiv) The battaries should be placed inside the enclosure beside the DG set on a suitable insulated plat form.

(xv) the DG set should be provided with external Emergency stop push buttom.

(xxv) The accoustic enclosure parts shall be of powder coated after pre treat ment process. The powder coating shade should be Genset Green. The following itmes are deemed to be included in the rate quoted for all DG sets:-

(i) DHPP for testing purpose shall be supplied by the contractor without any extra cost to Govt.

(ii) The contractor shall arrange for artificial load for testing for final testing fo DG Set at site and the cost is deemed to be including in above offer.

(iii) Testing of sound level should carred out at the site in presence of AGE(I).

(E) Civil Works:- All civil vorks including PCC plat form and related to foundations including of panel and equipments including making good and existing structrure of distubed during installation and commissioning of genset. The depth of the foundation shall be minimum 300mm with antivibration pads or as recommended by the manufacturer.Rubber Matting : 12 mm thick and of size 1mx2m rubber mat having chequered finish on top ISI marked 1100 V grade and each shall be laid in front of control panel and DG set as directed Documents : Standard ducuments as per manufacturer specifications such as maintenance & operation maufacturer specifications such as maintenance & operation manual, parts catalogue, display charts such as maintenance and oil change chart/board (for generator and diesel engine) and log book as directed by Engr-in-charge.

2. Supply & Fixing XLPE(Heavy duty) electric cables with Aluminium conductor 1100 Volts grade cross sectional area of size 150 sq mm 3.5 Core all as specified and directed.

3. Excavation in trenches n exc 1.5 mtr wide and n exc 1.5 mtr depth for foundation and laying of cable and getting out in hard/dense soil etc complete all as specified and directed.

5. Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cm in soft/loose soil etc complete as specified and directed

6. Removing excavated material n.exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5 m above the starting point all as specified and directed by Engr-In-charge.

7. S&F GI Pipe light grade 50 mm for road crossing/ on pole/ on wall for protection of LT Cable.

8.Earthing with galavanised steel earth plate elctrode 600mm x 600mmx6mm thick buried directley in ground, (earth pit not less than 2.25m below ground level), with the top edge of the plate not less then 1.5 m below the normal ground level, connected to GI earth strip of size 32x6mm thick soldered and riveted to earth plate,GI earth strip will be protected by using 40mm bore GI pipe (light grade) from earth plate to equipment and watering pipe 20mm bore (light grade), chamber and coping shall be made in PCC (1:3:6) type C1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate, RCC pit cover 50mm thick in 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate reinforeced with 8mm dia TMT bar @ 80mmc/c both way with lifting hook made out of 8mm dia TMT bar duly embedded in RCC cover in lieu of CI pit cover with angle iron frame including excavation and earth work and removal of surplus soil complete all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part I and as specified including charcoal dust, common salt complete and earth lead connected to earthing test point/main point and testing of earthing complete as directed. (Note:- Main earthing lead from earth plate to test point & upto 7.5mtr to be provided and the cost of the same shall deemed to be included in the quoted rate).

9. Supply, Installed, Testing and Commissioning CPRI approved cubical type LT Panel floor mounted indoor type for 415V, 3 phase 4 wire sysytem 50 Hz AC supply, factory made fabricated from stainless steel (SS 316) totally enclosed, dust weather and vermin proof for outer sehell and 2 mm thick for inner shell having TPN cpper bus bar rating 1.5 times that of controlling MCCB supported on SMC insulator with short circuit withstand capacity 35 MVA for 1 second, bottom base channel MS section not less than 100mm x 50mm x 5 mm thick, entire panel shall have a common aluminium earth bar of size 25mm x 5mm at the rear with 2 Nos earth stud, solid connection from main bus bar to switchgears with required size of copper wiring with minimum 1.5 Sqmm PVC insulated copper conductor cable , cable alleys, cable gland plates in two half inculding tamper proof digital energy meter to measure volatge current PF, KWH,KVAH,KVAR (amke secure/L&T/HL/Schneider) and general construction confirming to IS-8623/93 and mounted on suitable PCC foundation with follwoing detailed specification & control :- (Make specify minimum 3 reputed makes) complete with suitable fixing accessories.

INNER SHELL :- Inner shel made of 2.0 mm thick stainless steel (SS 316) compartmentalized for each control gear, front openable single door system lockable/openable by keys from both sides having chromium plated fancy locks (2 Nos in each compartment) ahving louvers and air vents gasket for natural flow of air "U' type gasket shall be used to make the inner shell completely vermin proof and to accomodate incomer/outgoing MCCB's and TPN copper bus bar and extension links of rating not less than the 1.5 times rated capacity of the respective MCCB's. The TPN bus bar and exension links shall be insulated with colour coaded heat, shrikable sleeve and shall be mmounted on suitable size 'F' class through out the length of the TPN bus bar. Computer cut slef adhesive vinyl danger notice plate having conventional symbol of bone and skull shall be providid on bus bar chamber. All control wires shall be with not less than 1.5 Sqmm multistranded copper conductor and shall be properly bunched. tied, ferruled for proper identification and crimped with adequite size of lugs. The cubical shall have a bottom channel of size 75x50mm duly coated with zinc metal coating. A detachable predrilled gland plate of thickness 3.15 mm zinc metal coated should be used at the bottom, indicating lamps LED type, 230 Volt, AC at the incomer of the unit to show three phase availablity at the incomer. An inspection lamp with 11 Watt CFL shall be fitted on top side of inner shell. The degree of protection for inner shell shall be IP-42 and carrly the floowing control :-
