Supplying, installation, testing and commissioning of silent diesel engine driven generating set 415volts, 3 phase 4 wire engine as per IS: 10001/10002 and alternator as per IS: 13364 complete with necessary foundation as per manufacturer recommendations,AVM pads, control panel with necessary meters and sound proof canopy of capacity up to 62.5 KVA complete all as specified and directed for the following specifications :- (A) DIESEL ENGINE. Water cooled, 4x cylinder (102 BHP) developing suitable BHP @ 1500RPM. Engine shall be cooled by rail mounted, engine driven radiator of adequate capacity, with blower fan, fan guard, fan belts etc. The diesel engine shall be vertical, to run continuously at 1500 RPM confirming to IS 10002, BS-5514, standard with an overload capacity of 10% for one hour in every 12 hrs of operation. Diesel engine shall comply with latest CPCB norms. The Diesel Engine shall be regulated with Electronic governor. Make of Engine-CUMMINS, KIRLOSKAR, GREAVES COTTON, ASHOK LEYLAND. (B) ALTERNATOR. Alternator 62.5 KVA, suitable to deliver rated output at 1500 RPM, 415V, 0.8 PF (LOG), 50HZ, 3 PH, in SPDP enclosure, self-excited & regulated electronic governor . The alternator shall conforms to IS-13364 & shall be suitable for tropical condition. Full load efficiency of the alternator offered should be above 90%, insulation and temperature rise also limited to class H. Enclosure shall conform to IP-23. Make of Alternator - KIRLOSKAR, STEMFORD, JYOTI, CROMPTON. (C) STANDARD CONTROL PANEL. Totally enclosed, steel construction control panel comprising of following :- (i) Main on /off MCCB 3 phase 4 pole 415 volt 50 Hz 125 Amp taring 25 KA-01 No. (ii) Phase indicating lamps set of three-01 No. (iii) Instrument fuses -01 Set . (iv) Digital display/indication of engine and alternator parameters as mentioned below shall be available :- (a) Lube oil pressure. (b) Battery voltage. (c) Engine RPM. (d) Fuel level in the tank. (e) Engine running hours indication. (f) AC current and voltage. (g) AC Frequency. (h) AC Power metering. (j) Suitable CTS for displaying the electrical parameters.

Supply, laying and testing cable XLPE Insulated ,screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 Volts grade with stranded aluminium conductor of size 120 sq mm 3.5 Core make Havells Polycab, gloster gemscab, KEI,HPL, Dynamic grandlay.

Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.5 meter wide and not exceeding 1.5 meter in depth for laying of pipes and for poles/stay and struts not exceeding 10 Sqm on plan and getting out, excavated earth, forming bottom surfaces to required level complete all as specified.

Returning, filling in including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing surplus spoil to a distance not exceeding 50 meter and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.5 meter above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying sand river for cushioning with layers of sand 8 cm before lying of cable and 15 cm after lying of cable (total 23 cm) in trenches complete all as specified & directed. (Note: Thickness after punning shall be measured for payment)

Supply and laying brick protection cable cover using sub class ‘B’ bricks laid flat adjacent to each other across the length of cable laid dry complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-charge.

Earthing of machinery/equipment Installed at power house/substation, using 32 x 6 mm galvanized MS strip and MS galvanized plate of size 600 x 600 x 6 mm ,as earth electrode (for LT Panel, Bus-bar panel and Body earthing of DG Set etc. 02 Sets each)

Earthing of machinery/equipment Installed at power house/substation, using 32 x 6 mm copper strip and copper plate of size 600 x 600 x 3 mm, as earth electrode. (for Neutral of DG Set 2 Nos)

M&L for feeder pillar bus bar box made outof CRCA sheet CPRI approved of size 1000(L)x750(H)x550(W) mm of outdoor type, double door, both side openable, locking arrangement, kiosk type, powder coated, 3.15mm thick MS sheet water proof hinged, having 4 Nos insulated aluminium bus bar of 1400 Amp duly colour coded mounted on porcelain/polymar insulator, with provn of 05 Nos outgoings holes, LED indicator (RYB), 04 Nos, holes in bottom for incoming and outgoing cables with suitable size of cable gland and mild steel stand for mounting of panel board made of angle iron of size 756 mm X 75 mm X 6 mm, 1.3 metre high (650mm below ground level and 650mm above ground) along with necessary cement concrete for grouting of panel stand and connecting the panel with earthing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes :- The rate quoted by the contractor is deemed to be inclusive of following works (a) Aluminium lugs 400 Sqmm for existing incoming and outgoing cable connection. (b) Aluminium busbar suitable to carry 1400 Amps load, 800 mm long. (c) PCC Foundation 1:3:6 using 20 mm agrigate. (2x1.8x1.6x.6=3.46 Cum) (d) Transportation from factory to work site at Roorkee. (e) Contractor shall submitt drawing of LT Panel board for approval of GE before placing order/fabrication.
