REPAIRS RESURFACING OF ROADS AND ROAD FURNITURE AT ICGS VADINAR UNDER GE (I) CG PORBANDAR

Schedule 'A' B/R

Preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc., complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Repairs to pot holes any depth, not exceeding 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in road, path etc cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth making good by filling in screened and graded road metal over a priming / tack coat of paving bitumen primer of grade VG-10 at the rate of 5 Kg per 10 Sqm and providing premixed bituminous macadam with crushed and graded stone aggregate mixed together with 4.50% of paving bitumen of grade VG-30 by weight of total mix, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.80 Kg per 10sqm, blinding with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3mm size and again well rammed including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chipping, depth of pot holes exc 30mm, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material & Labour for applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer of grade VG-10 at the rate of 5 kg per 10 Sqm of road surface by sprayer operated on hot pressure mechanism over old black top surfaces, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material & Labour for Bituminous premix Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete (SDAC) 40mm thick (consolidated thickness) with crushed and graded coarse aggregates as per design based on Job mix formula with 5.5% bitumen binder content (bitumen of Grade VG-30) by weight of total mix including heating bitumen to the required temperature, mixing bituminous concrete in automatic and temperature controlled hot mixing plant, laying, spreading uniformly by means of Mechanical paver and rolling and consolidating to the required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne power road roller to a uniform smooth surfaces, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes : (i) The actual requirement of binder shall be as per the job mix formula and test specified. However quantity from the mix formula found more than specified 5.5% same will be provided with no extra cost to the Govt. In case binder content found to be less than 5.5% as per mix formula as specified in Schedule 'A' shall be adusted @ the rate of 46.90 / KG for the less quantity of bitumen used. The quantity of 5.5 % mentioned is exclusive of any wastage and no wastage shall be taken onto account for the purpose of above adjustment. (ii) Rate of carring out design mix shall be inclusive of rate quoted by the contractor

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exceeding 400 sqm, exceeding 50mm and not exceeding 100mm deep, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material & Labour for providing, laying, spreading Premix Bituminous macadam, (consolidated thickness not more than 75mm) with 4.5% paving bitumen binder of VG 30, by weight of total mix including tack coat of 5 kg per 10 sqm using VG 10 bitumen heated to required temperature, mixing bitumen macadam in automatic and temperature controlled hot mixing plant, laying, spreading by means of machanical paver and rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 12 tonne power road roller to a uniform smooth surface, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Rate of carring out design mix shall be inclusive of rate quoted by the contractor

Material & Labour for painting lines, dashes, arrowes, letters, marking of 2mm thick & width exc 10cm or not exc 15 cm on new surface or previously treated road surface with hot applied retro reflective thermoplastic road marking paint (white /golden yellow) confirming to MORTH (clause 803.4) all as specified with 8% glass beads using special applicator machine with heating arrangement upto 160 degree Centigrade including cleaning and drying the existing road surfaces to ensure dust, oil grease and moisure free surfaces before applying paint, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & Fixing cat eyes ABS material 100mm x 100mm x 20mm two side Acrylic plastic reflectors etc., including taking town of old u/s cat eyes, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make : Tata/3M/Road Star/Dark eye

Supply & Fixing Solar Stud 125mm x 125mm x 25mm aluminium alloy and construction. Solar powered by nionocrystal solar panel. Type of Battery : One high capacity Ni-Cd rechargeable battery. View Distance: Approximate 1000 mtrs. LEDs- 010mm, 3 pieces each side and total 6 pieces are used for high brightness of different colours. Back Up- 12 hours of continuous lighting at night. Red Colour super quality duly fixed with Epoxy including taking down existing, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make- SENAR, Dhruv, Road Star or Equivalent.

Supply & Fixing in repair mild steel round pipe Delineator with reflector white/orange colour reflectors including pre-powder coated MS pipe of 75mm dia x 1200mm (900mm below + 300mm GL) height fixed in ground post hole size of 300 x 300 x 300mm with PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) including necessary excavation and earth work along with taking down of old u/s delineator, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make :Road Star Catn No GPD-1233 or equivalent of makeTata / 3M /Dark Eye
