M & L for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60 cm X 60 cm X 6.0 mm burried directly in ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 m below ground level connected to and including galvanised iron strip 32 X 6 mm as earthing lead by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers etc made of GI and connected to earthing test point all as shown in electric plate No. 5 of SSR indicated and testing on completion including excavation and earth work in any type of soil/rock, PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 earthing chamber, cast iron cover with lifting handle, funnel with GI watering pipe of 20 mm bore medium grade, wire mesh and lugs, GI protection pipe of 40 mm bore light grade 7.5 m long test point etc complete including taking down old U/S earthing. Note :- (i) Cost of earth strip and GI protection pipe up to a distance 7.5 metre shall be included in the quoted rate. (ii )On testing after completion if the desired earth resistance less than 2 ohm is not obtained the earthing will be redone at no extra cost.
