Embankment protection by driving Sal Eucalyptus bullah piles (main) of length 4.50 m each @ 300mm c/c distance , driving 3.00 m into ground, fixing horizontally 100 mm dia bullah as runner at the top of main bullahs, driving 100 mm bullah as tie post of length 2.0 m at 2.0 m offset distance , driving tie post to 1.50 m into ground, fitting and fixing ties of 100 mm dia eucalyptus bullah with main bullah and tie post, coal tarring (Double Coat) on all bullahs prior to driving, placing cement bag filled with earth after stitching , stacked in layers in single row between main bullahs and embankment, including supply of eucalyptus bullah , cost of nut and bolts, cost of coal tarring, cost of stitching (including thread), cost of supply of empty bags, cost of sand, labour for driving bullah including fitting and fixing , placing of bags in position, cost of all machinary tools and implements and other incidental charges if any, all complete and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Construction of embankment with approved material obtained from borrow pits with a lift upto 1.5 m, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 with a lead upto 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 301.5 for Rural Roads of MORD. (Mode of measurement: pre works and post works)

Supplying and placing of earth fill bag in road embankment in flank and slopes to protect scouring in layer by layer after proper bench cutting of the existing embankment profile for proper placement of earth and earth bags as per directions including cost of carried earth (lead up to 2 Km), land arranged by contractor, including Supplying empty Cement bags in good condition and labour for Filling empty Cement bag with earth and placing them in position including tying or sewing mouth (cost of thread included) and all incidental charges complete as per Specification and direction of Engineer -in-Charge. (Measurement to be taken basis of required no. of cement bag)
