Earth filling with contractors own good gravelly earth cut and conveyed from out side with all leads and lifts involved for forming the embankment of approach road by spreading in horizontal layers of uniform thickness over the full width drying or watering as the case may be scarifying to get uniform optimum moisture content and compacting in layers not exceeding 25cm ( loose thickness ) using power roller to correct profiles and formation levels satisfying compaction tests including trimming slopes to line and levels etc. complete as per IRC specification.

Construction of Granular Sub-Base by providing close graded Material of grading II - 26.5 mm to 9.5 mm @ 35 per cent, 9.5 mm to 2.36 mm @ 25 per cent and 2.36 mm below @ 40 per cent - mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mixed material to work site, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve the desired density, etc. complete as per clause 401 of MORTH specification

Providing , laying spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage of mixed material by tipper to site, lying in uniform layers with paver in sub base /base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density as per Clause 406 of MORTH specification.

Appendix-B

Earth work excavation in ordinary soil for foundation of retaining wall, approach slab etc. and using the spoil for back filling with all leads and lifts involved including breaking clods, watering, ramming and sectioning of spoil bank etc. complete as per the direction of deptl.officers at site.

Supplying Driving down coconut piles 200mm to 300mm dia to approved lines and levels through various strata including all hire and labour charges for fixing staying plat form and all other appliances for pile driving after pointing the bottom and up to 8m depth below ground level including all cost, conveyance labour charges etc. complete.

Dry rubble packing for retaining wall including all cost, conveyance and packing to proper lines and levels etc. complete as per the direction of deptl. Officers.

Cement concrete 1:4:8 using 40mm (nominal size) hard broken stone inlcuding cost and conveyance of all materials, labour charges, form work, watering , curing etc. complete for foundation of retaining wall (cement-171 kg/m3).

RCC M20 using 20mm and 10mm (nominal size) broken stone including cost and conveyance of all materials, labour charges, form work, watering , curing placing in position etc. complete but excluding the cost of reinforcement for belt of DR masonry and mat for RCC retaining wall as per the direction of deptl. officers.

Plain/RCC in open foundation complete as per drawing and technical specifications RCC grade M15 using 20mm (nominal size) hard blue granite broken stone inlcuding cost and conveyance of all materials, labour charges, form work, watering , curing etc. complete for retaining wall as per the direction of deptl. officers.

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion on prepared surface of Granular base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.60kg/m2 heated in bitumen boiler fitted with sprayer as per MORTH specification clause 502 including all cost, conveyance labour charges, hire charges of machineries etc. complete.

Providing and laying of hot applied thermo plastic compound road marking paint for centre line and side of 2.5mm thick including reflectorising glass rods @ 250 g/m2 on finished surface to level uniform and free frame streaks and holes, thickness of 2.5mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC specification including cost, labour and hire and all machinaries etc. complete as per clause 803 of MORTH specification and direction of departmental officers

Providing weep holes in Reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall/return wall with 75 mm dia PVC pipe, extending through the full width of the structure with slope of 1V : 20H towards drawing foce. Complete as per drawing and Technical Specifications (CE Approved OD)
