SCHEDULE 'A'

M&L for earth testing , identifying the earth and recording of test results in prescribed format all as directed by Engr in Charge. Each earth pit result to be submitted to Engr-in-Charge duly signed by user and MES rep for the following. Note : (i) Earth test to be tested and test report will be submitted by quarterly (ii) EP No should be mentioned on individual earth pits and ER value of installation etc all as specified and directed by Engr In Charge. (iii) Quarterly earth pit resistance valve will be tested and test report will be submitted by contractor to Engr-in-Charge. All earth pits mentioned in item No 1 (1.01) to (1.03) qty to be checked quarterly and rate quoted against each job is inclusive for all four quarters. (iv) All equipments required for testing purpose will be arranged by the contractor and cost of the same shall be deemed to be included in quoted rates by Contractor

Chemical type Earth test less than 1 Ohm (multiple earth pits will considered as 1 earthing point)

Supply and fixing GI strip 32 x 6mm thick as earthing lead fixed to wall/roofs etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing Aluminium strip 25 x 3mm with saddles and fixing screws etc. for roof conductors and down conductors above ground complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing copper strip 25 x 3mm thick as earthing lead fixed to wall/roofs etc complete all as specified and directed.

S&F epoxy base insulators of suitable size 40mm height for fixing GI earth strip on wall/ceiling/floor/poles etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out and refixing only GI strip 32x6mm thick after repair as earthing lead fixed to wall/roofs etc drawn in conduit/GI pipe etc complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out and refixing only GI strip 25x3mm thick after repair as earthing lead fixed to wall/roofs etc drawn in conduit/GI pipe etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for earth test point for down conductors on wall with 32x6mm GI strip, 25x3mm aluminium strip, epoxy insulator and GI bolts, nuts and washers complete all as specified and directed.

S&F air termination sigle pointed aluminium rod of 12mm dia 300mm length fixed to GI strip 32x6mm/aluminium strip 25x3mm including nuts, bolts and washers complete all as specified and directed the Engr in charge.

M&L adding salty water into earthing pit to improve earth conduictivity 20Kg common salt to be dissolved in water and pour the same through watering pipe of earth chamber to earth pit including checking of connection and making good the defective connections with necessary nuts, bolts washers & earth work etc all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for adding earthing chemical (charcoal, common salt ) in alternate layers of 15cm compacted thickness one layer of magnesium sulphate 5cm thick above the charcoal and common salt and balance portion above he magnesium sulphate shall be filled with screened earth in layers including checking of connection and making good the defective correction with necessary nuts, bolts washers replacing of defective pipe protection GI wire, earth work etc all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note : magnesium sulphate (20Kg bags), charcoal and common salt, GI pipe & copper/iron strips etc shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply only charcoal dust and common salt in alternate layrs of 15cm to improve the ER value of existing earth pits complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only Magnesium sulphate (20Kg bags) in trenches to improve the ER value of existing earth pits complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing PCC earth chamber (Size 400x400x80mm)1:3:6 type C1 and 50mm thick RCC1:2:4 cover slab with 6mm dia TMT bar ,100mm c/c,MS bar lifting hook including replacement of rusted watering pipe 20mm bore med grade, UNSV GI funnel with wire mesh complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60cmx60cmx6mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtrs deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 mtrs below normal ground level, connected to galvanised iron strip 32×6mm as earthing lead by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No 3 in SSR connected to earting test point all as specified or indicated complete with excavation & earth work, PCC pit in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 with 50mm thick RCC cover (grade M-15) having suitable handle (10mm MS Rod) 20mm dia GI medium grade watering pipe with GI funned with wire mesh 40mm bore GI pipe (light grade) forprotection of earth lead conductor all as directed and testing on completion.

Supply,installation, testing and commissioning of maintanance free grounding solution set comprising of High tensile low carbon steel rod of 3 mtr length and 17.2 mm dia with 250 micron (average) molecularly bounded copper on the outer surface to confirm with requirements of UL 467 including suitable copper earth termination clamp alongwith back fill compound of 44.60Kgs strictly be a carbon based conductive concrete type which has a fixed carbon content of more than 99% and resistivity of less than 0.12 Ohm Mtr as per clause 15.5D of IEEE ,80 standard back fill compound should be electronically conductive (Like in metals) and should not depend on moisture for conduction, size of bore 80mm dia, 12 feet depth, complete all as specified and directed.Make of earthfill compound : LORESCO Powerset Carbon Note: Inter connection of copper strip measured and paid seperately

M&L for comprehensive maintenance and servicing of Fire Detection System for the following locations at HQ SAC bldg at Akkulam AF Stn including Briefing Hall for repairs/replacement of all defective and unserviceable parts as per specifications during contract period and attending of break down as and when intimated including necessary periodical safety checking and testing the entire system/cleaning of detectors system and attending complaints within 24 hours including Sunday/holiday and submit the service report by every quarter. Each Job to be done in each quarter.

Note for item No 18.01 to 18.07 (a). The rate quoted shall be inclusive of all spares required during comprehensive maintenance period. Supply installation testing and commissioning of First Aid Hydraulic Hose Reels complete with swing type drum 20 mm dia rigid hose having a length of 25m with stop cock and chrome plated shut off nozzle on one end including all other necessary fixing materials all as specified and directed. Periodical Maintenance/ Servicing / Repairs of diesel Gen set installed under GE (AF) TVM for smooth operation of generator sets and ensuring the serviceablity by renewing the defective spares, settings/ caliberation etc for the following capacity Model/ Make by carrying out inspection /work by an authorised dealer of OEM complete all as specified and directed.

Engine Servicing/Gen overhauling (a) Checking the lubricant oil, topping up & changing filters if required. (b) Checking the lubricant level and replacing if required . (c) Checking of alternater, battery charging, fan belt and adjusting/renewing if required. (d) Checking/adjusting of sensers / controls of the Engine. (e) Cleaning the cylinder head, lever, lube oil, gudgen pins etc. (f) Draining fuel filter bowels to remove water/sediments and refixing with new gaskets after cleaning/ renewing the filters. (g) Checking and tightening all external fasteners and arresting all leakages by renewing deffective nuts bolts washers etc whereever required. (h) Checking and arresting leakages by tightening all lube and fuel/ hose connections by renewing defective washers.

(i) Checking of air filters subject to 250 hrs running or six months whichever is earliest for renewal (j) Cleaning of air filter assembly (k) Renewal of all external rubber parts including radiator hose pipes, sir clips/clamps with nuts bolts etc (l) Arresting all water /lubricant/fuel leakages (m) Checking of all engine parameters and ensuring trouble free performance (n) Removing US spares and fixing of new spares including testing etc

Alternator Servicing (a) Checking lubricant in the bearings (b) Checking electrical excitation system and repairing if required (c) Checking alternator insulation values and tightning the electrical connections etc (d) Checking circuits of various connections (e) Cleaning the slip rings/brushes etc (f ) Removing US spares and fixing of new spares including testing etc

AMF Panel Servicing (a) AMF Panel will be maintained for good operation with the existing components. Any components found defective will be renewed and paid under relevant item of schedule. (b) Removing US spares and fixing of new spares including testing etc

Notes: 1. (i) Spares, lubricant, coolant etc required for engine, main alternator & AMF panel will be measured and paid seperately. (ii) Charges for Major repairs / top overhauling of engine, rewinding of alternator, alternator major overhauling due to normal wear & tear will be out of scope of the work. However the damages caused due to negligence of the contractor will be made good without any extra cost by the contractor. Cost of minor spares required for proper operation of DG set and Control panel shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted. (iii) U/s spares shall be measured under Schedule of Credit Notes 2 : DHPP (N) required at the time of mainteance/testing will be issued by MES. Notes 3 : Labour charges for dismantling/taking down and replacement/fixing new parts as and when required is deemed to be included in quoted rates by the Contractor

S & F in repairs radiator by removing from DG set of capacity 100 KVA to 160 KVA , descaling the radiator thoroughly completely with CTC solution/ any other chemical solvent agent as approved by the Engineer-in-charge, stopping of leakage at place to copper cores and tubes by brazing scrapping the existing oil paint, dusting and painting the radiator with enameled paint etc., reinstalling and commissioning complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repairs radiator by removing from DG set of capacity 160 KVA to 250 KVA , descaling the radiator thoroughly completely with CTC solution/ any other chemical solvent agent as approved by the Engineer-in-charge, stopping of leakage at place to copper cores and tubes by brazing scrapping the existing oil paint, dusting and painting the radiator with enameled paint etc., reinstalling and commissioning all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S & F in repairs of unserviceable AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulator) suitable for Kirloskar curve of capacity 125 -160 KVA having input voltage 2 phase + neutral sensing voltage 415 output voltage 95V DC, output current 4A DC voltage regulation +/- 1 % average volts, over excitation current tripping, fuse protection 4A, fast acting and frequency 50 Hz complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. S & F in repairs of acustic enclosure provided for DG sets by replacing the unserviceble door locks, door hinges /canopy, grills for intake/exhaust, roof panels, side panels etc including door beeding by necessary welding work/patchup works, providing new hinges etc all as specified and as directed

Disconnecting, taking down and overhauling engine of DG set with capacity 15 to 30 KVA transporting to workshop and dismantling crank shaft, cylinder head , fuel injection pump , injector, turbo charger , connecting rod and radiator, Replacement of crank shaft bearing, oil seal , piston rings, cylinder liner, valve kit, gasket, lube oil, filter, joints and radiator hoses , replacement of fuel pipe and Belts complete all as directed . Note :- The cost of spares parts consumed which are repalce in DG set are deemed to be included in quoted rate by Contractor

Notes for Item No. 2 to 72

Note:- (a) Contractors representative / engineer will report to concerned JE E/M in charge of AGE E/M office to collect complaint/breakdown/urgent works related to DG set till completion of work. The work shall be attended by the contractor immediately. The contractor will ensure availability of manpower equipped with allsort of pretty items such as galvanised screws, nuts, bolts, washers etch required to accomplish the job, The contractor will also ensure as availability of every type of requisite T&P items to his trades man. In case of any delay in attending the complaint more than 8 hrs after handing over of routine / urgent work, the contractor shall be liable to pay the penalty as described in penalty caluse given here as under.

Note (Cond/-):The penalty shall be applicable to the contractor if the delay is noticed by the Engr-in-Charge more than eight hrs after handing over works of urgent nature to the contractor. The Engr-in-charge more than eight hrs after handing over works of urgent nature to the contractor. The Engr-in-Charge shall handover the slip containing specification of work to the contractor by lodging the time and signature of contractor be obtained on slip. Thecontractor shall attend the complaint, immediately and shall report to Engr-in-Charge with in 8 hrs. The contractor will keep histradesmen in stand by for attending any routine / urgent works from the executive. If the nature of job is such that thework cannot be completed within period of 8 hrs then the facts shall be brought to the notice of the GE/Engr-in-Charge and the period for the working to the complaint shall be decided by the GE/EIC,

Note (Cond/-) if the delay is more than twelve hrs period and the GE is not satisfied with the reason for delay then penalty at the rate of Rs 2000/- per job shall be deducted from the dues of the contractor. Please note that this penalty is excclusively other then the condition 56 of IAFW -2249and shall be treated as interim condition of the contract and shall be enforce above as and when delay in individual job isnoticed and no claim whatsoever on this account shall be entertained by the Deptt. The decision of the Accepting Officer is this regards shall be final and binding. (c) The contractor shall maintain a record of all urgent work at and if the work is repeated due to poor workmanship, he will be liable to repair the same without any extra expenditure to the Govt.
