M & L for Preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and Applying evenly a tack coat of Bitumen VG-10 grade conforming to IS :73 at a rate of application of 5 kg/ 10 sqm complete all as specified and directed.

Scarifying or picking gravelled macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exc 400 sqm exc 50mm and n exc 100mm deep complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Premix bituminous, macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber and camber with paving bitumen VG-30 content of 4% by weight of toal mix (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) for correction of undulation/ camber complete all as specified and directed. Note (i) Aggregates for Biluminous works shall confirm to clause No 20.8.2.5 of SSR 2009 Part-(ii) Based on job mix formula, in case the binder content (ie. Bitumen) is less than the content specified under these items then a minus adjustment @ Rs.60 per kg rate of bitumen as per Purchase Voucher provided by contractor (less consumption) shall be applied on the quoted rate of contractor against these items, hence the quoted rate of contractor shall be reduced based on less content of bitumen required as per job mix formula. However, no price adjustment on plus side shall be made for increase of quantity of bitumen in case of required as per job mix formula. (iii) Design Mix for bituminous macadam shall be carried out through an authorised testing lab and the cost of testing shall be included in quoted rate.

M & L for Bituminous premix asphaltic dense concrete 30 mm consolidated thickness with 5.50% binder content (VG-30) Grade by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with including rolling with 8 to 10 tonne power road roller to uniform and smooth surface and consolidation to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for laying hot applied thermoplastic compound (paint) 2.5 mm thick including reflecting glass beads incl cost of all materials, labour, machinery, T&P etc. required for proper completion of work incl all other charges. The finished surfaces to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes as per MORTH specification No. 803 as per IRC. Painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc. on roads, pavements and the like not less than 10 cm wide with roadmarking paint, white or golden yellow all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floors and paving n exc. 15cm thickness (below or above ground level) complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of stone slab and tiles of any description or thickness in floors, aprons etc. laid bedded and pointed in any mortar complete all as specified an directed.

Dismantaling brick work or stone/boulder masonery built in cement mortar including all quoins, pillars etc. complete all as specified and as directed

M & L for brick work in cement mortar 1:6 using old size bricks sub class 'B' bricks, straight or curved on plan exc. 6m mean radius complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for rendering 15mm thick on concrete/ masonary surface in cement mortar 1:4 finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.
