M&L for preparation of new untreated or old treated horizontal concrete or bituminous surfaces exceeding 10cm width or girth and painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters and other markings with one coat of retro-reflective paint using drop on glass beads BS 6088 type-II @350gm/sqm of colour white/orange/yellow/black or any other colour as approved using mechanical pavement marking machine complete all as specified and as directed

Notes for serial item Nos. 1 to 4: (i) The works will be carried out on Saturdays/Sundays/Holidays and other non-flying days and or as intimated by the ATS authorities (ii) The Contractor has to liaise with the ATS authorities two days prior of his planned works and schedule accordingly and or glavanise his resources as per requirement of the Station (iii) Works shall be done with requisite T&P, machineries, etc. as directed by the Engineer-in-charge (iv) The quoted rates shall be deemed to be inclusive of these aspects. No claim whatsoever shall be emtertained at a later date

M&L for preparation of old black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes/ coir brushes and removing caked mud, foreign particles, silt, etc., sweeping clean with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces using suitable air blowers to remove all such deposits and applying cold Polymer Modified Emulsion (PME) having penetration values of 10-20mm and initial setting time of 4-5hrs but not more than 8hrs by spraying with requisite machine of total cold liquid PME 1.0litre/sqm (undiluted) for two coats with fillers as recommended by manufacturer of PME (after diluting with water), each coat diluted in ratio 1:1 (PME:Water) and ensuring uniform finish of PME on runways / taxi tracks complete all as per manufacturer's instructions, as specified and as directed

Due care shall be taken for same (vi) A performance guarantee certificate for 2yrs shall be submitted by the Contractor on compleition of the work (vii) The quoted rates shall be deemed to be inclusive of all these aspects. No claim whatsoever shall be entertained at a later date
