REPAIR TO CERTAIN ROADS, ROAD FURNITURE AND ROAD MARKING IN CENTRAL SECTOR UNDER AGE B/R-I AT MIL STN KOTA

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exceeding 400 Sqm and depth exceeding 50 mm but not exceeding 100mm deep etc complete all as specified and directed.

Repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) etc rolling with 8 to 12 tonne power roller etc. complete all as specified and directed

M&L for premix bituminous macadam mixed laid with mechanical paver and 8 to 12 tonne power roller and compacted to required gradient and camber (Consolidated thickness 75mm or less) with paving bitumen 4% binder (viscosity grade VG-30) contents complete all as specified and directed. NOTE:- (i) Work shall be executed as per designed mix (job mix formula) approved by GE. (ii) If the bitumen content as per design mix found to be less than 4%, it shall be recovered at the rate of Rs 60/- per Kg for short of bitumen. If bitumen content found to be more than 4% as per design mix same shall be provided without any extra cost to the Govt.

M&L for preparing black top surfaces of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc, applying priming/tack coat with bituminous primer (VG-10) viscosity grade @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm etc including providing bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 30 mm thick (consolidated thickness) with mechanical paver, mixed at hot mix plant transported to site in tippers, chipping mixed with 5.5% of paving binder (VG-30) viscosity grade, rolled to uniform smooth surface with 8 to 12 tonne power roller and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed. NOTE:- (i) Work shall be executed as per job mix formula approved by Accepting Officer. (ii) Bitumen content as per design mix is found to be less than 5.5%, the short of bitumen shall be recovered at the rate of Rs 60/- per Kg and no adjustment shall be made if the bitumen content as per design mix found to be more than 5.5% same shall be provided without any extra cost to the Govt. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 100mm thick Moorum / Red bajri, spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required using 8 to 12 tonne roller as in burms etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cleaning and preparing the road surfaces for road marking with reflective thermoplastic white road marking paint conforming to BIS 3262, laid through road marking machine in a layer painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc on roads, pavements and the like exceeding 10 cm wide with road marking paint, white or golden yellow of CRYSTALEX, using 5 Kg material per square meter by incorporating the white glass beads for reflectivity in 100 mm width.etc complete all as specified & directed.

S&F in repair delineator with two high performance 100mm Dia reflectors and two rectangular reflectors of 70mmx23mm are fixed on both sides of Guide Post. The body of Guide Post is moulded in ABS plastic and it is fixed on powder coated steel pipe of 1010 mm long embedded in PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate( Size of block 30cmx 30cmx30cm) complete all as specified and directed. Make: Cat Part Model NO DA-74 of dark eye or equivalent in TATA BP/Gogia Plastic/Red Safe/Froniter/Tata VPI as approved by GE.

S&F in replacement ABS Plastic Stud (Cat Eyes) dynamically designed having height impact strength and fitted with 2 Nos high reflective reflectors on both sides including fixing arrangement as per manufacturer’s instructions and as directed. Make: Cat Part Model NO DA 971 P of Dark eye or equivalent as in /Tata VPI/ Gogia Plastic/3M

S&F in replacement solar cat eyes (studs) made of aluminium di-casted body, 100% waterproof, both side reflectors, designed according to IP 65 of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm with shank not less than 60mm length, high efficiency mono crystalline solar panel (2.5 V/0.3 watt), one Ni-Mh or Ni-cd rechargeable battery (1.2 V/1600 MA) having si80x super bright LEDs with 10000 to 18000 mcd (millicandela) view distance upto 1000 metre and flush road bearing capacity 10 MT, fixing in road by drilling a hole and with epoxy hardener etc as per manufacturer’s instructions at the location etc complete all as specified and directed. Model:- “DHRUV in dark eye or equivalent in TATA BP/Gogia Plastic/ Tata VPI as approved by GE.

S&F in repair road safety convex mirror of polycarbonate mirror of dia 600 mm fitted on 50mm dia powder coated MS pipe and fixed with PCC 1:2:4 in foundation etc. complete all as specified and directed

Demolition Cement concrete (unreinforced) Concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of stone slabs and tiles of any description or thickness in floors, aprons laid bedded and pointed in any mortar and removal of same from outside MOD land etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L machine pressed precast concrete rubber moulded interlocking paver block any shape and size confirming to IS 15658-2006 of 80mm thickness, M-40 Grade, with grey cement and pigment laid over and including 25mm thick sand cushion layer including providing 100 mm thick PCC type D-2, (1:4:8) using 40mm graded stone aggregate etc complete all as specified and directed.

Labour only for machine pressed precast concrete rubber moulded interlocking paver block any shape and size confirming to IS 15658-2006 of 80mm thickness, M-40 Grade, with grey cement and pigment laid over and including 25mm thick sand cushion layer including providing 100 mm thick PCC type D-2, (1:4:8) using 40mm graded stone aggregate etc complete all as specified and directed. NOTE: Tiles obtained from scarifying vide Srl item No 12 shall be reused.

M/L for preparation of plastered / stone kerbs surfaces as in road dividers along the road by complete removal of surfaces and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Pre-cast (factory casted) cement concrete kerb stone casted in PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate with plain or interlocking joints, making groove in ground of desired dimension, placing in erect position kerb stone in edging and set and jointed in cement mortar 1:6 etc complete all as specified and directed.
