Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of silent diesel engine driven generating set developing BHP air cooled of capacity 25 KVA (20 KW), 415 volts, 0.8 power factor, mounted on common base frame coupled, 1500 RPM alongwith sound proof enclosure (accoustic enclosure) design for reducing the sound level to 75 dBA IS 10001/1002 part 10 as per approved CPCV norms and as per GSR 371(E) dated 17.05.2002 with silencer pipe and silencer muffler covered with asbestos rope 25mm thick independently supported from engine to outside of pump house upto 1.00 mtr cold start kit, battery start with suitable size of standard cable for connection from DG set to panel board, DG Set shall be capable of operating in temparature range of (-) 20°C to (+) 35°C with and including the following :- (a) PRIME MOVER. Vertical diesel engine of suitable capacity having 32 HP air cooled (Radiator mounted) closed circuit as per BS-5514 or ISO-3046 direct injection type with turbo charger. The diesel engine shall be capable of running 24 hrs continously with 10% over loading for one hour in every 12 hours. (B) ALTERNATOR : Alternator of capacity 25 KVA/20 KW, 415 volts, 50 C/S, 1500 RPM, 0.8 Power factor, self excited, self regulated, screen protected with slef excited field brush rotating fixed designed to be coupled with above engine through closed coupling. The Alternator shall be conform to IS 4700 of BS-5514, ISO-3046. Make: Kirloskar/Cummins/Crompton/Jyoti/NGEF/Stamford. (C) MANUAL CONTROL PANEL: The control panel will be fabricated out of 16 SWG MS sheet, panel, Detachable cable gland plates shall be provided. The panel shall be equipped as follows: - (i) Moulded case circuit breaker of suitable capacity - 01 No (ii) Aluminium busbars/copper cables of suitable capacity provided withterminals - 03 Nos (iii) Current Transformer of suitable ratios - 03 Nos (Set of three) (iv) Set of instrument MCBs -01 Set (v) Microprocessor based controller controlling various mechanical and electrical protection with display and indication of electrical and mechnaical parameters:- (aa) display Parameters (i) Electrical Parameters: Phase voltage, line current, frequency, average voltage, average current, KW, KWH, KVA, KVAR, Power factor.

(ii) Mechanical Protections: Lube oil pressure, coolant temperature (for liquid cooled engines), cylinder head temperature (for air cooled engines), Engine speed, fuel status, engine run hours, Battery voltage. (ab) Protection: - (i) Electrical Protections: Under/Over voltage , under/over frequency, phase failure or pahse erese, over current, over KW. (ii) Mechanical Protections: Under/Over speed, low lube oil pressure, high engine coolent temperature (for liquid cooled engines), Belt failure (for air cooled engines) low fuel level alarm. (D) OTHER FITTINGS: (i) Battery charger: - Battery charger having electric circuit consisting of rectifiers, capacitors and resistance etc. The battery charger should be able to charge the battery at all time wherever electric supply given to battery charger through control panel or electric power point. (ii) Inbuilt Fuel Tank: - Inbuilt fuel tank of suitable capacity for 12 hours running as per manufacturer recommendation fitted inside accoustic enclosure with all connecting pipes and fittings upto fuel pump and over flow pipe from engine to tank including level indicating gauge duly marked and drain valve and air vent plug etc.

Notes: - (a) DG set shall be supplied alongwith with original accoustic enclosure of the manufacturer's suitable for 25 KVA set as per CPCB Norms. (b) Pre commissioning test of DG set shall be carried out by the rep of Accepting Officer within overall cost quoted. (c) Foundation of DG set shall be as per design of manufacturer and cost thereof shall be included in overall cost quoted. (d) Complete Dg set shall be included in overall cost quoted. Note:- Rate for item No 8.03 to 8.09 shall be quoted at item No 8.03

Supply & fix for junction box of size 300 x 300 x 250 mm made of MS Sheet 1.6mm thick front door openable with fixing screw painting with two coats of synthetic enamel power coated paint over a coat or red oxide including alumn bus bar 4 Nos of size 25 3 mm mounted on epoxy based post insulators and drilled holes for connection including 01 Nos MCB SPN 6 amps, incl magnetic lock system all as required and fixed to poles using MS Strip of size 32 x 6mm and nuts and bolts of required size all as required at site or directed by Engr-in-Charge.
