NOTES / INSTRUCTIONS FOR STRICT COMPLIANCE :- (a) The contractor shall obtain sample approval for all materials incorporating in the work as per condition 10 of IAFW-2249 and Special Condition 11 of tender document mentioned here-in-after. (b) The Engineer-in-charge may direct the contractor in writing to procure and deposit up to 50% quantity of the material with in 30 days from the date of commencment as required at site out of quantity to complete the scope of work. Remaining 50% shall be procured as per site requirement during progress of work.The decision shall be final and binding on the contractor. (c) The contractor shall deposit the procured material to the store of concerned subdivision within 30 days from the receipt of written direction. Failing which contractor shall liable to pay a penal recovery of Rs. 5000/- per week, levied on the dues of contractor, subject to maximum up to 10% of the work done/CA Amount whichever is higher. (d)The contractor shall obtain approval of “Qualified Tradesman” as per condition 26 of IAFW-2249 before commencement of work at site and shall have sufficient manpower such as Electrician / FGM / Technician etc., readily available to meet the site requirement during emergency situation as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge. (e) The quoted rates shall be inclusive of cost of necessary Tools, Plants, Safety Equipments, Machinery etc., as per site requirement.

Taking down existing un-serviceable cable from trenches, passing through pipes / ducts / or wells complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Necessary earth work excavated will measured and paid separately.

Supply & laying LT XLPE insulated, armoured heavy duty electric cable with alumimium conductor, 1100 volts grade, cross sectional area 300 Sqmm x 3.5 Core, laid in trenches / passing through pipe / duct / on wall complete all as specified and directed.

Note:- Serviceable cable ontained from taking down shall be used for re-laying.

M&L for removing electrical connections of 3 / 4 pole Air circuit breaker of capacity 400 to 1600 Amps, 415 V, 50 HZ of any make, strip opening of the ACB, inspecting the parts for serviceability / overhauling complete and carrying out following repairs / maintenance :- a) Cleaning insulation parts including bushings with CTC solution. b) Checking alignment and condition of movable and stationary contacts and adjust them all as per manufacturer's instructional manual. c) Checking the bolts, nuts, washers, cotter pins and all terminal connections are in place and tight, replacing worn-out parts. d) Checking arc chutes for damage and replacing damaged parts. e) Cleaning and lubricating the operating mechanism with light machine oil (SAE-20 or 30) for pins and bearings and with a non-hardening grease for wearing surfaces, adjusting breaker operating mechanism all as per manufacturer's instructional manual, replacing the same if there is excessive wear and tear. f) Checking / inspecting shunt trip coil for serviceability and replacing the same if required. g) Replacing worn or burned contacts, Checking control device free for operation. h) Checking after servicing the circuit breaker to verify the contacts move to the fully opened and fully closed positions, that there is an absence of friction and that the electrical operation is functional. Note : (i) The rate quoted deemed to be inclusive of T&P and minor spares like lubricants, nuts / bolts / washers / pins etc. (ii) Major spares like contacts, shunt trip coil, relays, CTs etc if replaced, shall be measured & paid separately.

Comprehensive maint for Synchronizing panel of any Make as and when directed by Engr-in-Charge as per requirement by a qualified technician, comprising of the following outlined services:- Notes:- (i) The Contractors technical team shall visit the installation site for periodic preventive maintenance, check up of the synchronizing system. (ii) DC back up source will be maintained by checking / servicing. (iii) Apart from the periodic preventive maintenance visits, all break down calls for the systems covered under the contract shall be attended including Sunday and holidays. (iv) Cost of all minor spares (Nut bolts, control wires, lugs, minor soldering, multicolour resistors, capacitors varistors and circuit connectors etc.) to put the Synchornizing panel in working condition shall deemed to be included in unit rate qouted complete however major components like logic control board, drive boards and contractors if required shall deemed to be included in unit rate qouted. (v) Response time during normal working hours shall not be more than 4 Hrs from the time of receipt of complaint and the resolution time shall be maximum 48 hrs, based on the nature of complaint and replacement of components and boards. (vi) Transport / rent of the same shall be borne by the contractor during the contract period and unit rate qouted shall deemed to include this aspect complete all as directed by the Engr-in-Charge. (vii) The rate qouted deemed to be inclusive of any software updation required.

Comprehensive maint for PLC based LT panel of any Make as and when directed by Engr-in-Charge as per requirement by a qualified technician, comprising of the following outlined services:- Notes:- (i) The Contractors technical team shall visit the installation site for periodic preventive maintenance, check up of the PLC system. M&L for preparation of external surfaces of old existing LT panels indoor/outdoor type by scraping down old dusted paint by steel brush, brooming, rubbing and cleaning including spray painting with One coat of synthetic enamel paint and marking feeders complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for decarburizing / cleaning complete LT 415 Volts 3 phase panel / bus bar chamber with electrical connections, bus bar, cleaning with CTC and ensure proper decarburizing, re-fixing the same after applying becktol Red solution to the bus bar insulator & checking all the connections, tightening the nuts, bolts & thimbles of incoming / outgoing system complete including replacement of defective rusted bolts & nuts all as specified and directed.

M&L replacement of out door panel board canopy door, made out of 3.15 mm thick CRCA sheet, duly power coated with removable door hinges, water proof rubber beading and locking arrangement with SS aldrop & pad lock/ concealed locking arrangement, danger notice boards, mentioning panel details including gas welding for fixing the door complete all as directed. Note:-Unit rate quoted shall be considered to include locking arrangement with SS aldrop & pad lock/ concealed locking arrangement, danger notice boards, etc reqd for one LT panel. Contactor shall quote their rates accordingly.

M&L for detecting LT UG cable faults located in any stretch / depth with sophisticated cable fault locator consisting of microprocessor based pre-locator system, HV / LV surge generator, fault pin point surge wave receiver, cable identification instrument , cable tracer for exact location of under ground cable routes complete all as directed. Note:- The rate quoted deemed to be inclusive of arrangement of necessary fault locator equipment, transportation of equipment& charges for service engineer.

S&F on-load change over switch 250 Amp capacity, 4 pole, 415 volts, manual change over with Sheet metal enclosure including fixing in existing panel and necessary modification in the panel (if reqd) including taking down Un-serviceable on-load change over switch complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 3 core 2.5 sqmm flexible PVC stranded copper conductor cable, unsheathed, 1100 V grade for control wiring including taking down old unserviceable old cables complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for disconnecting electrical connection of defective / burnt out UG LT cable of any size 2 to 4 core from LT Panels / main switch / DB / Junction boxe etc., excavating & taking out required length (3 to 5m) of existing cable from its loop, cleaning & cutting the defective portion of cable / old termination at end, providing new aluminium thimbles / lugs of suitable size and reconnecting the same with existing location and refilling of cable trench with existing sand and bricks complete all as directed. Note :- (i) The rate quoted shall include for necessary earth work and excavation. (ii) Serviceable sand and Bricks shall be re-used for protection.
