SEWER LAYING / PRESSURE MAIN WORKS

Setting- out Survey:- Surveying and levelling for the proposed alignment of pipe line by Total station method engaging special tools and plants vehicle hire charges, transportation, initial incidental charges such as jungle clearance etc. Preparation of Tree map and alignment plan, duly incorporating salient details, such as topographical features, permanent landmarks, bench marks etc. at appropriate points, alignment plans and longitudinal section plan at 30 m intervals in addition to other salient locations such as branches, bends, culverts, river crossing etc. with all field particulars in AutoCAD and submission of plan (3 sets), along with LF books with making all entries with certification by beyond qualified Engineers with soft copy and marking TBM stones at required places with bench mark registers soft copies (3 sets) and hard copies (5 sets) etc., complete as directed by Engineer

Dismantling of flexible pavements and disposal of dismantled materials up to a lead of 1000 metres, stacking serviceable and unserviceable materials separately By Mechanical Means (including cutting at the edges of road surfaces to be dismantled). Breaking by excavator at the edges of road surfaces to be dismantled shall not be permitted. Bituminous Road

Dismantling of Cement Concrete Pavement: Dismantling of cement concrete pavement by mechanical means (including cutting at the edges of road surfaces to be dismantled) using pneumatic tools, breaking to pieces not exceeding 0.02 cum in volume and stock piling at designated locations and disposal of dismantled materials up to a lead of 1000 metres, stacking serviceable and unserviceable materials separately. Breaking by excavator at the edges of road surfaces to be dismantled shall not be permitted.

Taking out existing CC interlocking paver blocks from footpath/ central verge, including removal of rubbish etc., disposal of unserviceable material to the dumping ground, for which payment shall be made separately and stacking of serviceable material within 50 metre lead as per direction of Engineer

Excavation below road top/ GL (GL to be reckoned as Existing Ground Level, hereafter) by manual or mechanical means for laying of sewers, manholes, Chambers, sumps etc. in soil including extra excavation below inverts, trimming and dressing of sides, levelling and back filling of trenches by excavated earth in 20 cm layers, watering and ramming, compacting the same conforming to MoRTH, including removal of surplus earth or other dismantled material up to a distance of 50 meters from the centre of trenches and lifts as below, stacking and spreading as directed, preparing the bed for laying of pipe/foundation, cleaning of site properly after completion of work etc. complete. Excavation by mechanical means shall be restricted up to 90 cm beyond invert levels at every point of excavation. Excavation from invert level to 90 cm beyond shall be done by manual means only.

Dismantled timbering materials will be the property of the contractor.

Provide & fixing of Close Timbering in trenches for the following depth below ground level consisting of 40 mm thick approved country wood planks for poling board, 125 mm x 75 mm Indian country wood walers and 100 mm dia country wood ballies for struts at 1.50 m interval including removal after laying of sewer (both sides of trenches will be taken as one side for the purpose of payments & measurements i.e. area equals to length x depth of trenches. Dismantled timbering materials will be property of the contractor.

Supply,Carting, laying & jointing of Ductile Iron pipes of class K-7 S&S conforming to IS 8329:2000 with latest amendments, conveying to work site, rolling and lowering into trenches, laying true to line, level and perfect linking at joints, dewatering if required, testing (Water Tightness test, Straightness and Obstruction test etc. as per Specification) and commissioning, including loading and unloading at all destinations, cutting of pipes wherever necessary and approved EPDM quality rubber gaskets, cleaning the socket and spigot end with soap solution, applying soft soap to the socket and spigot ends before insertion of rubber gaskets, jacking and fixing in perfect conditions etc complete. (The contractor will make his own arrangements for water for testing. Earth work excavation in trenches to be measured and paid for separately.) All DI pipes shall be provided with internal cement mortar lining. Providing 2.00 m high temporary barricading at particular work sites; each panel of size 2.50 m x 2.00 m made of 40 mm x 40 mm x 6 mm angle iron or 50 mm x 50 mm x 3 mm hollow MS tube posts/ horizontal members/ bracings covered with 1.63 mm thick MS sheet. The sheet shall be fixed with 30 mm x 5 mm MS flat by suitable welding/ riveting. The panels shall be made so that gap of 50 cm beyond the ground is available making overall height as 2.5 m. MS channel ISLC 75 @ 5.70 kg/m, 50 cm long shall be provided at the bottom having oval shaped holes of size 50 mm x 25 mm at both ends with 50 cm long MS angle 40 mm x 40 mm x 6 mm bracing. Suitable arrangement shall be made to fix the barricading to avoid from overturning by providing 250 mm long expansion fasteners at both ends. The work shall be executed as per drawing/ direction of the Engineer which includes writing and painting, arrangement for traffic diversion such as traffic signals during construction at site for day and night, glow lamps, reflective signs, marking, flags, caution tape as directed by the Engineer. The barricading provided shall be retained in position at site continuously, until shifting of the barricading from one location to another location, as many times as required during the execution of the entire work till its completion. Rate include its maintenance for damages, painting, all incidentals, labour materials, equipment and works required to execute the job. The barricading shall not be removed without prior approval of the Engineer.

Supply of all material, labour and T&P to provide the barricading along trench during excavation and laying of pipe with Eucalyptus ballies of 100 mm dia in horizontal section in two rows and vertical post of 125 mm dia at 2 m C/C fastened with coconut/ Nariyal rope including provision of caution board.

Construction of approved pre-cast RCC manhole chambers, constructed using form vibrators of standard type, with barricading, danger lighting and using of sight rails and boning rods wherever necessary, dewatering if required, shoring and strutting wherever required using RCC M30 Grade of Concrete, Conforming to IS 456:2000, with 20 mm and down graded stone chips, well graded sand and reinforcement shall be Fe500 conforming to IS 1786:2008, 250 mm thick top concrete slab, having wall thickness and raft thickness as in approved drawings and with an offset in raft all around the chamber as in approved drawing, benching concrete with 1:12 slope towards the central drain finished smooth, including fixing and grouting of pipes, including conveying to work spot supply and fixing EHD-35 Precast Concrete Manhole Cover & Frame, on a bed of PCC 1:2:4 supplying and fixing of minimum 6 mm thick encapsulated plastic footsteps (as per IS 10910) on 12 mm dia. Grade Fe500 steel bar (as per IS 1786) staggered at 300 mm apart as detailed in the Specification, disposal of surplus earth, watering, curing, engraving manhole number with flow direction on the inner cylindrical surface etc., complete including excavation for installation of pre-cast manhole at site, cost of reinforcement steel and fabrication charges and also cost and conveyance of all materials, labour with all lead and lifts. The Precast RCC manholes are for various diameters and depths as stated below and as per detailed drawings, specifications and direction of the Engineer.

Provision for crossing of nala or drain & stop flow of running water by making temporary bandh with gunny bag filled with earth and making hole in drain wall, excavation (if any) and remake the drain as previous condition.

Shifting of domestic water supply house connection coming in the alignment of sewer line/manhole chamber including excavation, refilling, supply of all material, pipes, specials etc., labour, T&P and making good complete as per entire satisfaction of engineer in charge.

Supply, carting, laying & jointing of Ductile iron pipes of class K-9 S&S conforming to IS 8329:2000 with latest amendments, conveying to work site, rolling and lowering into trenches, laying true to line, level and perfect linking at joints, dewatering if required, testing (Water Tightness test, Straightness and Obstruction test etc. as per the Specification) and commissioning, including loading and unloading at all destinations, cutting of pipes wherever necessary and approved EPDM quality rubber gaskets, cleaning the socket and spigot end with soap solution, applying soft soap to the socket and spigot ends before insertion of rubber gaskets, jacking and fixing in perfect conditions etc complete including all DI fittings of class K-12 shall be provided with internal cement mortar lining. (The contractor will make his own arrangements for water for testing. Earth work excavation in trenches to be measured and paid for separately.) Providing, installation and testing of DI Scour valve/washout valve of 150 mm dia, Dismantling Joint, Jointing Material, Tees, Bends etc. of PN10 as per approved drawing and the Specification, includes all pipe work and ancillary work. The rate shall include the costs of all DI pipes, fittings and special that are jointed with the Pressure Main and that connects between the Pressure Main, the Gate Valve and the downstream RCC Manhole at a maximum distance of 30 m.

Construction of RCC washout valve Chamber including all ancillary works (cover, etc). as per the Drawings and Specification, complete.

RCC 1:1.5:3 for thrust block (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)

Supplying, fitting and fixing in position reinforcement with Thermo-Mechanically Treated-TMT bars conforming to relevant IS Code for RCC work including straightening, cleaning, cutting and bending to proper shapes and length as per details, supplying and binding with 20G annealed black wire and placing in position with proper blocks, supports, chairs, spacers etc. complete. SEWAGE PUMPING STATION

Civil Works- Survey, Design, construction, Testing and Commissioning of Sewage pumping station at Bhagat Singh Colony, Haripur Kalan (Average flow 0.41 MLD, Peak flow 1.23 MLD for civil structures), 3.5 m dia. and depth of 5.90 m (including 1.50 m plinth height) by well sinking method. The work include supply of all material, labour, T&P etc. complete for construction, commissioning, testing of circular RCC sump with semi circular pump house, screening chamber, Boundary wall, MS gate, Toilet, generator platform, HT/LT room and its appurtenant works with submission of BEP, architectural and structural design and drawing by competent institutions like IIT, NIT etc. in 3 set, including excavation and dewatering, M.S stair case for approach upto dock slab with railing, balcony with railing, master manhole and fixing of penstock/sluice gate at master manhole and screen chamber, interconnection from master manhole to screen chamber and sump, electric wiring, fitting and fixture, other necessary work, including compounding land scaping, lighting in compound, 1.8 m height compound/boundary wall, internal drainage, other necessary work, required for proper completion of work & safety of structure as per instruction of engineer-in-charge. Electro-Mechanical Works- Design, Supply, Installation, errection, Testing & Commissioning of all electrical, mechanical and instrumentation works (Average flow 0.27 MLD, Peak flow 0.81 MLD for E&M Works) i.e. 3 Nos Pumps (190 lpm, 375 lpm & 570 lpm 14 m head) DG Set, Electric Panel, delivery header, piping, Automation of Pumping Plant (SCADA based) and other ancillary works as per design & drawings complete. (Note: Variation in pumping head- + 2.0 meter)

Construction of road-side Inspection Chamber 600 mm x 600 mm size inside clear dimension (with 1200 mm depth) with 100 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 in foundation, 75 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 flooring in slope, 230 mm thick First Class Brick Work in Cement Mortar 1:4 (1 Cement : 4 Coarse Sand), 12 mm thick inside and outside plastering with Cement Mortar 1:3), inside plaster finished with neat coat of cement, with Square 710 mm x 710 mm RCC Cover and Frame (EHD-35), refilling of Jhiri with watering and ramming including fixing up to 5 nos. of 110 OD uPVC pipes (Stiffness class SN 8) as per IS 15328:2003 and RCC NP3 150 mm dia. pipe pieces as per IS 458:2003 and plugging the same etc. complete as per approved standard drawing. (Pipe cost to be paid separately).

Deductions which concern items under Sr no. 39.0 per meter for decrease (-) of height on standard depth of following sizes of Inspection Chamber including supply of all materials, labour, Tools & Plants etc. Required for proper completion of work. Following Items shall be considered as Negative and shall be deducted accordingly. (Note: The Employer shall consider these Deductions during Evaluation of Bids for determining of lowest Bid.)

Construction of property Connection Chamber of Size 500 mm x 500 mm x 500 mm - inside clear dimension, with 100 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 in foundation, 230 mm thick First Class Brick Work in Cement Mortar 1:4 (1 Cement : 4 Coarse Sand), 12 mm thick inside and outside plastering with CM (1:3), inside plaster finished with neat coat of cement, with Square 600 mm x 600 mm Precast RCC cover with frame (MD-10) as required, refilling of Jhiri with watering and ramming, complete as per approved standard drawing.

Supplying, carting, laying & jointing of S&S RCC spun / Vibrated Cast Pipes (Reinforced) NP3 Class conforming to IS:458 with latest amendments for Sewer line works and conveying to work site, rolling and lowering into trenches, laying true to line and level including loading and unloading at both destinations and jointing of pipes and specials including cost of specials, perfect linking of joints with jack to correct position including cost of jointing materials, i.e., rubber rings conforming to IS: 5382 for S&S RCC pipes, with all leads and lifts as directed and giving necessary hydraulic test as per ISS to the required pressure and commissioning etc. complete. (Contractor will make his own arrangements for procuring water for testing) but excluding excavation and backfilling of trenches up to ground level. Rate shall include the cost of preparing As-Built Drawings, including pipe and chamber layout drawings indicating pipe invert levels at chambers. Connection from Inspection Chamber to Manhole, or connection from property Chamber to Manhole. RCC NP3 150 mm dia.

Providing House Service Connection including excavation, supply, carting, laying & jointing of 110 mm dia (OD) uPVC pipes, of (Stiffness class SN 8) as per IS 15328:2003, ISI marked and as per specifications with rubber ring with socket and spigot joints, (EPDM/SBR) as per IS 5382:1985 including cost of rubber gaskets, lubricants etc., including dismentling/demolishing of all types of floors, slabs, walls, ramps and restate the same in previous condition after the connection work, cleaning of site and disposal of surplus material upto 5 km. All works should be completed in all respect as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer.

ROAD REINSTATEMENT- SEWER LINE

GSB BY Plant Mix: Construction of granular sub-base by providing well graded material, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with smooth wheel roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per Specification Clause 401 of MoRTH (Grade-I Material).

Water Bound Macadam Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with vibratory roller 8-10 tonnes in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type of screening/ binding Materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density. By Manual Means

Grading- I (1st Layer), Using Screening Type-A (13.2 mm Agg.)

Grading- II (2nd Layer), Using Screening Type-A (13.2 mm Agg.)

Lean Cement Concrete Sub- base Construction of dry lean cement concrete Sub- base over a prepared sub-grade with coarse and fine aggregate conforming to IS: 383, the size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25 mm, aggregate cement ratio not to exceed 15:1, aggregate gradation after blending to be as per table 600-1 of MoRT&H specification, cement content not to be less than 150 kg/ cum, optimum moisture content to be determined during trial length construction, concrete strength not to be less than 10 MPa at 7 days, mixed in a batching plant, transported to site, laid with a paver with electronic sensor, compacting with 8-10 tonnes vibratory roller, finishing and curing.

Construction of Un-reinforced, Cement concrete pavement, thickness as per design, over a prepared sub base with 43 grade cement or any other type PCC Grade M-30, coarse and fine aggregates conforming to IS: 383, maximum size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25 mm, mixed in a concrete mixer of not less then 0.2 cum capacity and appropriate weigh batcher using approved mix design, laid in approved fixed side formwork (Steel channel, laying and fixing of wedges, steel plates including levelling the formwork and laying and fixing of 125 microns thick polythene film, as per drawing), spreading the concrete with shovels, rakes, compacted using needle, and plate vibrators, finished in continuous operation and curing of concrete slabs for 14 days, using curing compound where specified and water finishing to lines and grade as per the Drawings and Specification.

Stone soling properly hand-packed filling interstices with Kharnja Stone to the requested gradient and camber including spreading watering and rolling of binding materials murrum or earth etc. complete as per specification 100 mm spread thickness, top portion to be finished with 25 mm 1:2:4 cement concrete

Providing and Laying of Interlocking Concrete Block (M-30) Pavements having thickness 60 mm as per the Drawings and Specification

One year Operation & Maintenance of Sewage Pump Station at Bhagat Singh Colony, Haripur Kalan, District-Dehradun except Electricity and Fuel (HSD+Lubricants) charges (The cost included herein are the yearly cost for SPS Operation & maintenance including fixed cost (Cost of Manpower to be deployed, including cost of disposal of residuals viz. Screenings, Grits, etc) General Maintenance of Civil Structures, preventive and Breakdown Maintenance of Mechanical equipment, Electrical items etc. are in the scope of defect liability period of contractor.
