MANNING AND OPERATION OF ELECTRICALLY OPERATED LIFTS OF SS-3 TO SS-9 AT NAUSHAKTI VIHAR AND CONNECTED MISC WORKS UNDER AGE E/M NO.I OF GE (UTILITY-II) VISAKHAPATNAM

Manual operation of electrically operated lifts of any capacity, any type and make at Naushakti Vihar to serve any number of floors by providing separate lift operator (semi skilled) in each shift of 8 hours duration per each lift, on all the days including Sunday & Holidays, including taking care of from any pilferage, theft or damage etc, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Out sourcing : One lift operator (semi skilled) per shift of 08 Hrs for each lift. Total No of Shifts: 7x2x335=4690 Shifts BLOCK No. SS - 3 & SS - 9, (No. of lifts 07 nos) (2 shifts per day) Shifts & timings:- Ist shift - 0630 Hrs to 1430 Hrs IInd shift - 1430 Hrs to 2230 Hrs

Notes : (a) In case of non function of passenger lifts, the goods lift installed in the same building to be operated as directed. (b)The unit rate is deemed to include for maintaining log books, record of repair/ replacement of perished/ unserviceable, minor adjustments, minor repairs of all accessorises, cleaning /up keeping of lift & surrounding area. (c) One emergency light and necessary tools should be available in a tool box with operator for smooth functioning of installations. (d) Before commencement of work the contractor shall submit the list of manpower to be employed as per requisite qualifications specified in particular specification for approval of GE duly recommended by Engineer-in- charge.

M&L for disconnecting the water and electric connections carefully from the existing submersible pump sets of capacity 5 to 7.5 HP for inspection, repairs and reassembling the pump and motor as exisitng after repairs/replacing the worn out unserviceable parts with new parts as ordered, including cleaning, including cleaning, replacing the minor items like packing bolts, nuts, washers and MS clamps etc. applying one coat of synthetic enamel spray paint on exposed steel surfaces, making the pump and motor fully serviceable including testing & commissioning the pump set for satisfactory operation on its full load complete all as specified and directed.

Note: (a) Spares required shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of BOQ. (b) Expendable stores like cotton waste/ cleaning materials, lubricants, gland packing, metal filling and transportation from site to work shop and back shall be deemed to be included in unit rate quoted. (c) Labour elements for fixing spares shall deemed to be included in unit rate.

Disconnecting and taking out the existing submersible pump set of capacity 5 to 7.5 10 HP including all connected cables, suction pipe, etc., from deep bore well of any depth, for carrying out necessary repairs/ servicing rewinding with appropriate gauge of super enamelled copper wire of same gauge and same No of turns as existing including testing complete all as directed.

Material & Labour for painting to old painted steel surfaces of Centrifugal/ monoblock Pump sets alongwith connected pipes with one coats of synthetic enamel paint including cleaning, scraping foreign material and degreasing surfaces complete all as directed
