Excavation in hilly area in all heights and depths and in all kind of soil by mechanical means including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, soft rock, hard rock, chiseling, wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soil, setting out true to the required lines, grades, cutting and trimming of side slopes and level as shown in the drawing and as directed by engineer-in-charge at site according to the MORD technical specification clause 302, 304 and 1603 and sorting out useful materials and stacking the same in all leads, lifts in acquired width of road and transportation of useful material for filling in road ways, camber, embankments for grade improvements and disposal of all surplus material to required width of the road or on approved dumping sites through all modes of transportation including head load or animal transport or mechanical means along with its leveling, fine dressing and carriage of machineries, materials, tools, equipments and safety measures and incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and labour if required. Recovery of stone to the tune of 62.23 (sixty two decimal twenty three) cubic metres quantity at the rate of 300/-(Rupees Three hundred) per cubic metre shall be effected from the contractor's running bills on pro-rata basis as per actual quantity executed. Any loss to the public, private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be compensated by him in all cases including carriage of matereials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals The rate including octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government. .

Earth work in excavation for all type of road structure such as retaining walls, breast walls, culverts, drains and parapets etcetera in all type of classification of soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock, hard rock chiseling /wedging out rocks (Where blasting is prohibited) as per drawings and M.O.R.D. technical specification clause 305 & 1603 and as per direction of the Engineer- In – Charge including setting out, shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal of materials upto any lead and lift including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable approved material to the original surface in layers not exceeding 150mm ( one hundred fifty milimetres) compacted thickness including shoring and strutting and pumping and bailing out water (surface and sub soil water) upto any depth and any quantam of water including cleaning of slush which may arrise out during dewatering as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidentals.. Providing and Laying mechanically mixed and vibrated plain cement concrete in open foundations complete as per drawings and technical specifications section 800, 900 & 1200 1:4:8 (One cement : Four sand : Eight graded/crushed stone aggregate) 40mm (Forty milimetres) nominal size) in road work and as per the instructions of Engineer-in-charge within all leads, lifts of materials and other incidentals. Back filling with granular material for road work behind abutments, wing walls, return walls and retaining walls complete as per drawing and M.O.R.D. technical specifications clause 1604.7 & section 300 and as per direction of Engineer – in- Charge including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidental. Providing and laying 110mm (one Hundred ten millimeters) dia P.V.C pipe weep holes in brick masonry/stone masonry, plain reinforced concrete, Abutments, Wing walls, Return walls and retaining/breast walls extended through the full width of the structure with slope I(V):20(H)(One vertical : Twenty Horizontal) towards draining face complete as per drawing and MORD technical specification Clause 1206.6 and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. Providing and laying mechanically mixed and vibrated Reinforced Cement Concrete in super-structure in road work using grade M-25 (M-Twenty five) designed mix with cement contents not less than 400 Kgs (Four hundred kilogramme) per cubic metre with 20mm(Twenty milimetres) nominal size graded crushed stone aggregate in super structure as per drawing and M.O.R.D. technical section for Rural Roads Clause 800, 900 and 1200 including the cost of form work and curing complete but excluding the cost of reinforcement for reinforced concrete work in deck slab including hauling of materials in all kind of leads, lifts and other incidental as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Enginee-in-charge. Providing and laying rubble stone flooring for road work laid in cement mortar 1:3 (One cement : three sand) over cement concrete bedding complete as per drawing and M.O.R.D. technical specifications for Rural Roads Clause 1303 including carriage of materials in all leads, lifts and other incidental and as per the entire satisfaction and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. Loosening of the ground upto a level of 300mm (Three hundred millimeter) below the sub-grade level, watered, graded and compacted in layers to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 for sub-grade construction as per Technical Specification Clause 303 as per direction of Engineer – in- Charge including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidental . Construction of granular sub-base 125mm ( one hundred twenty five milimeters) thick by providing well graded materials, spreading in uniform layers with tractor mount grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with smooth wheel roller 80-100 (Eighty-hundred) kN static roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per MORD Technical Specification Clause 401 for grading-I material, as per the entire satisfaction and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.
