Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of new CPCB-IV+ compliant 3 Phase, 415V, 50Hz, 30 KVA Silent Diesel Generator Set comprising of Engine, Alternator, Seperate AMF Panel (CPRI Complaint) , Base Frame, Fuel Tank, Batteries, CPCB approved Acoustic Enclosure having following specification and engine should not derate at 50Deg C ambient temperature.

Base Frame

Common MS Channel fabricated base frame, primer coated & painted, containing the engine and the alternator mounted through AVM Pads.

Fuel Tank - Minimum 65 Ltrs detachable tank complete with drain valve, air vent, inlet and outlet connection. The fuel tanks shall be suitable for floor mounting installation outside the acoustic enclosure

AMF Panel (CPRI Approved only)

Floor mounted AMF Control Panel fabricated from 14SWG CRCA sheet and powder coated after 7 tank treatment process. The panel comprises of following items :-

A) Required 6A-SP & 16A-DP MCB of 10Ka

B) Indicating lamps 230V AC (LED type) - Mains ON (RYB), DG ON (RYB), Mains Load ON/DG Load ON

a) Efficiency not less than 90%

b) Warranty - Engine and Alternator carry warranty of 60 months or 5000 operational hours from the date of Invoicing, whichever occurs earlier, against any manufacturing defect provided manufacturers recommended lube oil, coolant and genuine spare parts are used. Acoustic Enclosure, Control Panel & Other Electrical Items carry 1 year Warranty from the date of Invoicing.

c) Test Certificates of Engine & Alternator should accompany the Bill.

d) Scope of work - Placement of DG Set on existing foundation with testing & commissioning including arrangement of diesel at site.

Installation of Earting for DG

Earthing with Copper plate (610x610x3mm size) having weight of 9.84 Kg and 1 No. 25x5mm Copper strip (3.20 mt long) & 1 no. 6 sqmm PVC insulated stranded Copper wire (4 Mt long) incl. S & F 15 mm dia GI pipe (ISI-Medium) protection (4 mt. long) to be fillied with bitumen, partly under the ground level & partly above ground level to an average depth of 3.65 Mts. below the ground level and restoring the surface duly rammed incl. providing 3.0 mt long, 25 mm dia GI pipe (ISI-Medium) for periodic treatment, incl. providing masonery enclosure on the top of the earth electrode of overall size 86.36x86.36x46cm deep (below Ground level) complete with cemented brick work (1:6) of 25 cm width, duly plastered with cement morter (inside) CI hinged inspection cover of size 36.56x35.56cm with locking arrangement, GI reducer and treatment of soil by using salt & charcoal or coke for plate electrode. [For DG Neutral Earting]

Earthing with 80 mm dia GI pipe (TATA-Medium)x 3.0 Mts. long and 1 x 19/8 stranded GI (Hot Dip) wire (4 Mts. long), 25 mm dia x 150 mm long galvanized bolt, double nuts, double washers including socketing at both ends of stranded GI (Hot Dip) wire by crimping sockets/ thimbles and S & F 40 mm dia GI pipe (ISI-Medium) protection (3 Mts. long to be filled with bitumen partly under the ground level and partly above ground level to an average depth of 3.65 Mts. [For DG Body Earting]

Excavation of soil for installation of Earth Electrode and filling & ramming.

(a) For Soft Soil

Supplying & fixing medium gauge GI Pipe ( ISI-Medium) Protection with necessary fittings and jointing metarials as required

(a) 80 mm dia

Connecting the equipments body to earth busbar incl. S & F 50 mm x 6 mm Galvanized (Hot Dip) MS flat on wall /floor with GI saddle as required and connection to equipments with incl. drilling holes, bolts, nuts,washers etc.

Supply & delivery of best quality oil hand pump with 1" dia PVC flexible pipe (12' ft. approx.)

Installation of DG Exhaust System

S & F exhaust pipe of 80 mm. dia MS black pipe (Thickness 4 mm) including connection with the existing silencer attached with the flexible coupler and S&F flange, nuts, bolts & washers etc. & necessary fixing materials etc. as required from DG set to nearest building (Horizontal Run) with suitable high temperature painting. (Aprox Hight 15 mtr) including Base structure as required as per CPCB-IV norms.

Installation of DG Base foundation

Providing cement concrete foundation for the DG set with 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 course sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)[M20 grade ] including excavation, providing base concrete with 1:5:10 cement concrete, required centering/ shuttering, finishing the exposed portion etc. as reqd. ( Item will be paid based on measurements for 1:2:4 CC, but excluding the 1 : 5: 10 leveling course of base concrete) as per direction of E-in-Charge and manufacturer recommendation. Size of Foundation : 4400 mm (L) X 1950 mm (W) X 900 mm (H).

Installation of DG Room Shed

SITC of Trush structure shed with Angle iron structure as per Requirement Supply & fixing of required Zn/Alluminium alloy corrugated (traffored or similar app. Quality) sheet (6MM thick) with incl. the supporting angle iron frame (Make-TATA/ JINDAL/Equivalent) work fitted & fixed with suitable inclined at both side as per direction of EIC. Aluminium sheet ridging fitted with self taping screws EPDM washers etc. to complete 300 mm laping on each way with .75 mm sheet. Priming one coat on steel or metal surface with synthetic oil brand primer of approved quality incl. smoothing surfaces by sand papering.Painting with best quality synthetic enamel paint of approved make and brand incl. smoothing surface by sand papering etc. incl using approved putty within on surface if necessary ( on steel surface 2 coat). Size of Shed : 5000 mm (L) X 2550 mm (W) X 3100 mm (H).

Laying of Cable

S & D of 1.1 KV. Gr. armored XLPE/A Al. LT cable of following. [Make: Gloster/Havells/RR/KEI]

a) 4 core X 35 sq.mm

Laying of one No. cable upto 35 sqmm in underground trench 460 mm wide x 760 mm average depth, with brick protection on the top of the cable with 8 (eight) Nos. bricks per metre, including filling the space between the brick & cable and also the trench with shifted soil, leveling up and restoring surface duly rammed

Supplying and fixing compression type gland complete with brass gland, brass ring & rubber ring for dust & moisture-proof entry of XLPE/PVC armoured cables as below : 4 Core 35 Sqmm

Finishing the end of following XLPE/PVC armoured cables by crimping method incl. supplying and fixing solderless socket (Dowels make), tapes, anticorrosive paste & jointing materials : 3½ core 35 sqmm cable

EI WORK

Supplying and fixing 415V, TPN 63A SFU with sheet steel enclosure on angle iron frame on wall with nuts bolts etc incl. S & F 3 nos. DIN type HRC fuse as per rating as to GS. (a) 63A (L&T)

Supplying and fixing Changeover switch with Sheet Steel enclosure on angle iron frame on wall with nuts bolts etc (b) 63 A (HPL)

Supplying & fixing sheet metal (16 SWG) Iron Clad Busbar chambers on angle iron frame on wall, incl. earthing attachment and painting as required – ( As per Drawing no. 470 of PWD Specification Book – May 1991) 4 bars 415 V, 100/125 A Dimension of Al. Commissioning & testing of the Diesel Generator Set along with AMF panel with agency's own tools, tackles & fuel in presence of EIC.
