Designing, Constructing, Testing & Commissioning RCC Circular under ground/partial under ground/Overhead storage reservoirs as per capacity given below at various stages/sites including excavation in all kinds and types of strata, soil strata including dewatering in M30 design mix in foundation, walls, bottom slab , roof slab/dome with smooth finishing in 1:3 inside the tank, all alied Civil Works, Site development upto battery limit including cutting/excavation in all kinds of soils (excluding Retaining/Breast walls), Sanitary works i.e., refilling and disposing of surplus stuff with in all leads and lifts, labour and material charges. The job also includes providing lowering, laying, erecting, hoisting and jointing of pipe assembly for inlet, outlet, overflow and scour pipe with bye pass arrangement consisting of GI / MS pipes special and valves of required classes and dia and all other accessories required such as MS ladders inside and outside CI cowl type ventilator, MS fabricated protection panel with proper locking arrangement water level, indicator, RCC frames for all valves ventilating shafts shall also be provided including all leads and lifts as per entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. The tanks shall be hydraulically tested for water tightness all works shall be conforming to relevant IS code. The cost of valves shall be included in the rates of tanks . Battery Limit shall be considered as 3.00 m from the edge of the structure or the boundary of the land whichever is less.The rates quoted by the contractor shall be for the complete work. All ancilliary works and accessories required to make the system fully functional shall be included in the cost of work. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account.The work shall include supplying of 5 sets of structural design and drawings etc complete as directed by engineer in chargeas per relevent data sheet and scope of work.(Refer Vol-III-Technical specifications Schedule-A1, Data Sheet No. 1.1 to 1.12)

Designing, Constructing, Testing & Commissioning of aesthetically designed ( to be approved by the competent authority) Type-II, RCC Framed 02 Nos. Staff Residences complete as directed by engineer in charge. The work shall include all allied Civil Works, Site development, cutting/excavation in all kinds of soils, C/o PCC/RCC Retaining walls, Breast walls, Toilets, Septic Tanks, dewatering, all internal and external electrical wiring, water supply and sanitary fittings, External LED Street lighting and other allied items. The clear height of walls shall be 3.00 mtrs. above floor level up to slab level . The thickness of slab shall not be less than 100 mm. in all respect shall be included in plinth area rates. The outer doors & Window shall be in double shutters and aluminium grills for windows. Internal wiring shall be in PVC conduits as per relevent data sheet and scope of work.The rates quoted by the contractor shall be for the complete work. All ancilliary works and accessories required to make the system fully functional shall be included in the cost of work. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account.The work shall include supplying of 5 sets of structural design and drawings etc complete as directed by Engineer in charge as per relevent data sheet and scope of work.(Refer Vol-III-Technical specifications, Schedule A1, Data Sheet No.5.10)
Excavation in foundation, trenches ( for pipes & pits) upto all depths in all classification of earth work such as pick work, jumper work, saturated soil including bailing and pumping out water, blasting soft/ hard rock or chieselling soft/hard rock where blasting is prohibited in all lifts including trimming and dressing of sides, leveling of beds to correct grade i/c shoring /strutting , planking, timbering & dewatering wherever required, stacking the useable & unuseable material /soil separately & after laying jointing & testing of pipes, returning the useable soil in trenches in 15 cm layers including consolidating of such deposoited layer by ramming & watering & then disposing of all surplus excavated soil /unusable material as directed with in all leads & lifts including restoration unmetalled surfaces to its original condition & including cost of diversion for traffic, night signals, fixing caution boards, crossing over trenches for access to houses, fencing etc. complete in all respects with in all leads & lifts as per directions of engineer-in-charge.

Laying,Jointing and testing in trenches to be levelled to grades IS marked ,GI Pipe flanged pipe of following dia meters conforming to IS 1239-1990(Part II) having minimum wall thickness as per IS code and class of pipes specified below providing and jointed with flanges conforming to table as specified below of BIS 6392-1971 (latest with upto date ammendments )welded at both ends according to relevant IS standard and detailed specifications and provided with nuts and bolts of required size,3mm thick compressed asbestos fiber gasket or synthetic rubber gasket conforming to relevant IS codes including all short pieces,bends tees,and other specials extra made from parent tubes and welded with flanges of tables as applicable to the particular reach and of approved specifications as per site condition including flushing,cleaning,painting and hydraulic testing complete. The pipes and specials shall have galvanised coating as per ISW-4736 with latest ammendments in all respects and to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

Laying, jointing and testing of GMS bevelled edged pipes conforming to IS:1239 (upto date ammendments) of following size and medium class in trenches having random lengths of 5-7 mtrs including cost of fabrication of minimum 3 cut bends of required degree. The pipe shall have inside & out side Galvanisation at manufacturer work conforming to IS:4736 (with upto date ammendments). The pipe shall be jointed with circumferencial butt welded joints by electric arc welding with minimum three layers of welds so as to achive the minimum effective thorat thickness and strength of weld conforming to IS: 816-1969 sepecification, by using welding electrodes of 2.50 mm to 6.30 mm of Advani Oerlikon (Ador)- CITOJET / Esab make, conforming to IS:814-1991, at site of work complete in all respects. Each butt welded joint shall be tested with dye-penetration test ( with the kit consisting of 3 sprays of 250 ML each includes (a) Cleaner CL-96 (b) Penetrant PT-97 (c) Developer Div-98 of checkmate make) complete in all respects, including manual / mechanical handling of pipes in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfication of Engineer-in-charge. (The earth work in treches and cost of MS flanges to be measured and paid for separately).

Supply, Installation Testing & Commissioning at site of suitable Clear water submersible pumpset KSB/BS/Kirloskar or any other approved make to be installed in the 175mm dia borewell (i.e., 175mm dia casing pipe) & capable of handling 10 PPM turbidity conforming to latest BIS code for below mentioned duty conditions. The pump shall be fitted with single vane impeller of suitable alloy for handling water as per IS 5669-1970 having oil/grease packed bearings and stainless steel shaft, wound stator on motor side with shaft protection sleeves on pump side ensuring better life for shaft . The impeller of pump shall be directly mounted on extended submersible motor confirming to BIS 9238-1979 with up to date amendments,totally dust and weather proof with detach able pump casing for easy inspection with double mechanical seal, grease/ oil lubricated bearings and provided with stainless steel thrust bearing plate to withstand vertical loads with minimum wear and tear,It should be fitted with device to take up expanion of water on heating of motor & suitable for operation on 415 (+10% ) and ( -15% ) volts 3 Phase 50 C/S AC supply. The power of motor should be at least 10% in excess of maximum power required by the pump in complete operating range with mounting stand/ duck foot bend, steel guide wire with mounting hook, lowering chain and standard accessories as supplied by the manufacturers complete, suitable for fulfilling the following requirements:- including Pump sets (working + standby), necessary piping i.e., common header, Control panel with starter and protections; control valves alongwith electrical cable etc Complete job as per IPH specifications including all taxes, transportation, freight charges, inspection charges, loading, unloading, conveyance to Departmental stores/ site, stacking, etc. including specials and wastage etc.; complete as per Tender Specifications, technical data Sheets and instruction of Engineer in charge. The power of electric motor/motors should be at +10% in excess of the maximum power required by the pump/pumps in the operation range of (+) 10% and (-)15% of the duty poiint head. The motor/motors as per ISI:325:1978 with upto date ammendments read with IS 900:1972. The laying of pipe shall conform to IS: 5822-1994 and as per CPHEEO manual the rate also include the carriage of GMS tubes from the IPH divisional store Karsog to the site of work butt welding of joint fabrication of short pipes, bends, tees and other special etc. from parent tubes, flushing, cleaning and hydrolic testing complete to the best satisfaction and defection of Engineer in charge with in all leads and lifts. ( Earth work in trenches will be measure and paid for separtetly 150mm dia. (For Dedicated Fire Fighting Network)
Providing and fixing at site of Pelicen/lead by kirloskar or any other approved make cast iron sluice valve of 150 mm diameters of PN1.6 rating including welding of MS flanges conforming to IS:6392-1971 with suitable table. The welding of flanges with pipe should be in double layer on the both faces of flanges including carriage of material with in all leads and lift complete in all respect.
