Job Order Demolition and Re-construction of DSC Post No 7 at NSD Sewri

1. Boring 01 No of hole as shown on drawing 100 mm dia by rotatory drilling for soil investigation in any type of soil including boulders,weathered rock and 76mm dia hole in hard rock by dimond cutting to depth 10 to 15 mtr as directed by E1C alongwith SPT at every 1.50 mtr from GL till expected depth SPT and other tests required for designing the foundation of building. Test report should include all the tests as required for designing the foundation such as SPT valus, bore logs soil clarification and also should cover the general recommendations for the proposed type of foundation system ,safe bearing capacity likely total settlement etc. The report shall be submitted in quintuplicate duly bounded in a presentable manner. The unit rate quoted shall be deemed to be included, the cost of submission of such reports and samples of soil. (a)The quantaties mentioned in ser No 1 above are tentative, these will be measured and paid actually executed at site. (b)The work is in restricted area. (c) No water will be supplied by the department. (d)The report should contain following for future reference duly bound in book form as per standard practice in quintuplicate. (i) Bore hole chart. (ii) Profile of all bore hole. (III)Bearing capacity calculation. (iv)Consolidated test on undisturbed clay samples. (v)Unconsolidated and undersized triaxial shear. (vi) Crushing strength of hard rock samples recovered from drilling through hard cock. (vii)Chemical analysis of ground water for PH, Sulphate, chloride etc. Note :- Quoted rate includes structureal design of foundation of proposed watch tower buildings. Report of soil testing to be submitted along with structural drawing of foundation for superstructure plan of the building provided by GE (NW) Mankhurd
