One percent of the Estimated cost of work put to tender shall be recovered from the running bills of the contractor as testing charges, after deducting the cost

of material proposed in scheduled-A at basic rate. One percent labour cess will be deducted from contractor’s bill.

Thangadh Municipality

1) All the work shall be carried out as per MOST specification and specification on the division or as directed.

Rates quoted includes clearance of site (prior to commencement of work and at its closed) in all respects and held gross for under all

conditions, site moisture weather etc.

In RCC item when there is change in grade of concrete mix or change in consumption of cement as per actual mix design then the difference

in consumption of cement shall be deducted from the rate of original item valued at the star rate as mentioned in tender. However no extra

payment shall be made for use of additional Quantity of cement as per actual concrete mix design. Concrete mix design shall be done in

GERI laboratory only.

The Contractor shall exhibits a board as per Govt. circular No. 2DK – 3277 / 1657 N Dt. 26–01-73 with detail of specification and details of

work and amount involved at site without any payment as directed by the Engineer in charge.

Testing of materials be as per statement attached with the Specifications, the materials shall be tested in G.E.R.I. Bill for testing shall be paid

5) by the CHIEF OFFICER and 1% of the (one percent) of amount put to tender after shall be recovered from the running account bills of the

works. (As per G.R. (R&B) Deptt., No. TNC/1085/4/C dtd. 20.12.91.

6) The contractor shall quote even "NIL" if no reduction is proposed.

One precent of estimated cost put to tender for this work shall be recovered from the contract payments as "LABOUR CESS". In terms of the

8) Photographs of before work and after work will be submitted by the contractor at the time of each bill submission.

The contractor is solely responsible to bare all applicable taxes. GST etc. and department will not entertain any contractor representation to

reimburse any financial burden due to applicable taxes : i.e. GST etc.
