SCHEDULE `A' (ELECTRIFICTAION) Excavating in trenches, not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth for foundations of poles etc. and getting out including trimming the sides and forming bottom surfaces to required levels in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, and well ramming in layer not exceeding 25 cm thick in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material (soil) to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for river sand, washed and screened dry for cushioning to under ground cable in trenches below and around under ground cable including spreading and levelling complete as specified and directed .

Material and labour for laying well burnt old size bricks, fly ash bricks, straight or curved on plan , laid flat with width equal to length of brick , laid dry over electric cable for protection all as specified.

Laying only old burnt old size bricks, straight or curved on plan , laid flat with width equal to length of brick , laid dry over electric cable for protection all as specified.

Boring/Drilling ( horizontally) manually under existing road ( maximum 10 M in width) without disturbing the road surface and inserting the GI pipe suitable for passing GI tubing of 40 to 100 mm bore complete all as directed. Note :- (i) Removal of surplus soil shall be demmed to be included in the unit rate quoted. (ii) GI Pipe shalle be measured and paid for separately underrelevent item of Sch`A;.

Supplying and fixing Galvanised mild steel pipe /tubing, light grade complete with all fittings of 50 mm bore dia, laid in trenches / under roads, fixed to poles/ walls with Mild steel clamps , bolts , nuts and washers complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Excavation & Earth work shall be measured and paid separately)

Supplying and fixing Galvanised mild steel pipe /tubing, light grade complete with all fittings of 80 mm bore dia, laid in trenches / under roads, fixed to poles/ walls with Mild steel clamps , bolts , nuts and washers complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Excavation & Earth work shall be measured and paid separately)

Disconnecting & taking out defective under ground LT cable from trenches, pole, pipe, floor ,wall etc including bricks ,GI pipes and removing from work site of unserviceable material and keep serviceable material for reuse in safe custody for any size complete as directed (Excavation/earth work shall be measured & paid separately under relevant item of this schedule)

Material and labour for earthing complete with galvanised mild steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6.0mm thick, burried directly in ground to a depth not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level surrounded with adequate quantity of charcoal dust mixed with salt to a packed thickness of 15 cm all around the plate, using GI lead wire 4.00 mm dua by means of bolts, nuts , check nuts and washers of galvanised ironor of steel to earth plate at one end and connected to equipments at another end, GI earth lead wire shall be encased in and including 40 mm dia GI 'light grade' pipe from upper end of earth plate upto equipments,20 dia bore GI pipe 'light grade' as water pipe from earth chamber to upper edge of earth plate, Test point , GI funnel with wire mesh fixed on water pipe and PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in pit chamber and RCC pit cover 50mm thick precast RCC 1:2:4 type B-1, duly reinforced with MS round bars 6mm dia @ 100 c/c both ways with 10mm dia MS round bar as in lifting handles, excavation, earth work including laying the GI pipe concealed in floor/wall all as described in electric plate of SSR Part I complete all as specified and directed and testing on completion.
