REPAIR /REPLACEMENT OF EARTH TEST POINT, LIGHTING ARRESTER,EARTHING STRIP WITH WALL INSULATER AND REPAIR MAINT/ SERVICES OF DG SETS AT AFS KUMBHIRGRAM

Excavation earth work in any type of soil (soft/loose, hard/dense, or rock) in cylindrical shape for bore hole of 250mm dia and 3.20 m depth, using suitable technology/boring machine for placing vertical earthing electrodes, complete all as specified and directed. Note: - (a) The quoated shall be included for all accessories, equipment and manpower required for boring. (b) The earthing points are located at different places at AF Stn Kumbhirgram.

Supply and fix in repair HDPE Pipe of 50mm dia PN-10 suitable for protection of earthing strip complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repair single pointed air termination aluminium rod of 12 mm dia, 300 mm long having one end flat with one 10mm dia hole fixing on roof top including fixing / fitting of termination rod at one end of GI pipe 25 mm dia stand post with the help of nuts, bolts etc and making connection with roof / down conductors and including GI pipe 25 mm dia (light grade) as stand post of height 1 meter fixing with the help of GI bolts including PCC works and making fixing arrangement of air termination rod over the GI pipe along with aluminium strip etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repair aluminium strip for roof and down conductor, of size 25 mm x 3.15 mm fixing on insulating saddles with SS screws up-to the eqpt / LA / DG / below ground level / surface as per site requirement complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, Installation and testing of maintenance free chemical earthing (grounding) electrodes of overall size of 17.2 mm dia molecularly copper bonded 250 micron on steel electrode 3 m long. Earth electrodes should be directly inserting in the bore of size 250mm dia x 3200mm depth with chemical compund of good quality field / agricultural soil as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Resulting in increasing of the contact surface area of the earth electrode and to achieve the desired earth resistance value as per soil resistivity of any type of soil (dry, rocky or soil having boulders & gravels etc) soil resistivity of the location of the installation including comprising of the following :- (a) Earth enhancing soil treatment chemical compound (0.19 ohm per meter) having essential chemical ingredients, such as ionic chemicals, dispersion chemicals, expansion chemicals and hygroscopic chemicals to provide stable low resistance for earth terminal to make maintenance free of 25 Kg bag - 03 Nos. (b) Supply and laying of copper strip of size 20x3mm horizontally in a trench at a depth of 300 mm below the surface level /surface of wall to connect the test point terminal (length of copper strip minimum 5 meters). (c) Eco friendly maintenance free earthing compound to enhance soil conductivity of 25Kg bag- 01 No. (d) FRP & Polyplastic inspection chamber. (e) Installation and testing charges including taking down existing unserviceable earthing set. Note: - Excavation earth work in any type of soil (soft/loose, hard/dense, or rock) in cylindrical shape for bore hole of 250mm dia and 3.20 m depth shall be measured and paid seperately under respective items.

Material and labour for Eco friendly maintenance free earthing compound to enhance soil conductivity packed in Eco-friendly HDPE laminated paper bags 25 kgs x 1 paper bags having 0.19 Ohms per meter complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix FRP & polyplastic rust proof, heavy duty ,weather proof fiber reinforced plastic earth pit inspection chamber of size (320mmx320x192mm) complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repair test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze of size 75 x 75 x 25 mm drilled and screwed including 3 Nos, 8mm dia 25mm long hexagonal head screw complete all as specified and directed.

Supply of good quality field / paddy soil as directed by Engr-in-Charge, soil to be obtained from outside of defence land for re-filling the trench or earth pits complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for inspection earthing pit of size 300x300x300mm (internal dimensions) with wall thickness 50mm made of PCC (1:3:6) type C1 and 50 mm thick cover of size 400x400mm of precast RCC (1:2:4) type B1 reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bar @ 15 cm on both ways and with suitable handle made out of 10mm dia with funnel and wiremesh including removal of old unserviceable earthing pit cover complete all as specified and directed.
