Comprehensive maintenance of DG Set including Alternator AMF Panel for routine check up of the engine for the smooth functioning and carrying out the checks complete as per the manufactures instructions, complete all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-Charge for 62.5 / 63 KVA DG Sets installed. Make : KIRLOSKAR / CUMMINS (A) Every 50 Hours/One month whichever is earlier (a) Repeat the daily checks (b) Check oil level in the oil bath type air cleaner (c) Check the fan belt tension. The deflection should be within 8 to 10mm at the Centre (for details pleaser refer to the maintenance manual) (d) Check the electrical connection

Note for Srl Items No 1 & 2 : Servicing shall be carried out by authorised service Engineer of Kirloskar / Cummins.

Supply and fix in replacement old unserviceable Air filter suitable for 63 KVA DG Set, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fix in replacement old unserviceable oil filter element suitable for 63 KVA DG set, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fix in replacement old unserviceable fuel filter element suitable for 63 KVA DG set, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and replace the lubricant oil (IC engine for Gen set application) completely drained out old engine oil after warming the engine and use MIL-L 2104C mono-grade oils only 15W40 overlain cummins complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply only coolent for DG Set, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Suppy only distilled water, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Suply and fix in replacement of Automatic voltage regulator (AVR) suitable for DG Set 62.5 / 63 KVA , complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Suply and fix in replacement ignation switch suitable for 63 KVA DG Set, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Suply and fix in replacement fuel level sensor suitable for 63 KVA DG Set, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Suply and fix in replacement oil level sensor suitable for 63 KVA DG Set, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Servicing of radiator assembly complete for cleaning after draining out cooling water/coolant, spaces cleaning the inter coller and replace unserviceable rubber hose pipes, circlip clamps, cleaning of raditor mix with appropriate cleaning agent, de-scaling by means of scale solvent as well as neutralising agent to arrest leakages by means of brazing etc including replacement of coolant for the capacity of DG Set 62.5 KVA / 63 KVA, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Repair and servicing of 62.5 / 63 KVA Engine Kirlosker type RB 66 / Cummins turbocharger assembly and replacing the service kit and reassembling testing complete, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Opening the coupling and dismantling the alternator carefully by removing the flywheel and dismantling the unservicable starting gear wheel , supply and fixing starting gear for 62.5 KVA DG set, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and replacement of LT Electro mat insulating mat conforming to IS 15652-2006 CPRI tested and certified pastable type, permanently fixed smooth trolley moment, moisture proof, fire retardant 2mm thick, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Servicing of self starter assembly of DG Set 24/12 Volts of 62.5 / 63 KVA capacity by disconnecting the self starter assembly from the engine and dismantling cleaning all assessories, replacing worn out parts like carbon brushes contact plates jumping levels etc and rewinding the fields coil and warnishing, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Replacement of battery terminals of heavy duty brass with copper leads not less than 3 RM long - 02 No of suilable/existing size, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60cmx60cmx6mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below normal ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 mtr below ground level, connecting to galvanised iron strip 32mm X 6mm (as earth lead strip), by means of bolt, nuts, check nuts and washer of GI and GI strip protected by provision of GI pipe light grade, 40mm bore upto test point including provn of concrete pit in PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregates with 40mm thick cover of RCC (1:2:4) reinforced with XPM (weight not less than 4 kg/Sqm) and frame of angle iron 25 x 25 x 3 mm with lugs 2 Nos and with 6mm dia MS bar handle made to shape, GI medium grade 20mm bore pipe for watering perforated at bottom 1.75 metres long placed on top edge of earth plate, common salt and charcoal filling, test point made out of phosphorous bronze with fixing arrangement, funnel, wire mesh and earth work in hard/dense soil, returning filling in and removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr, all as per electrical plate No 3 of SSR 2009 Part-I and connection to earth test point and testing on completion, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: Item of earthing includes the cost of 7.5 metre long galvanised iron strip 32mm X 6mm size and protection pipe of 40 mm bore galvanised iron light grade.

M&L for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6mm tthick buried directly in ground(earth plate not less than 2.25 mtr deep below the normal ground level ) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 mtr below the normal ground level connected to galvanized earth wire 4mm dia by means of nuts bolts,washers,check nuts of iron or steel including test point PCC pits and RCC cover in PCC 1:2:4 (type B-1) including iron angle frme 40*40*6mm. and medium grade GI watering pipe 20mm dia with funnel and wire mesh and 15 mm bore GI pipe light grade proection pipe including excavation and charcoal ,common salt surrounded with 15cm all around the plate all as specified and shown in EP-3 of SSR Part-I and connection to earth test point and testing on completion, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply & laying replacement of existing unserviceable XLPE insulated, armoured heavy dutyelectric cable with aluminium conductor, 1100 volt grade of crosssectional area 50 Sqmm 3.5 Core, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply & laying replacement of existing unserviceable XLPE insulated, armoured heavy dutyelectric cable with aluminium conductor, 1100 volt grade of crosssectional area 25 Sqmm 3.5 Core, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing 1100 volts grade heavy duty cable PVC insulated stranded aluminium conductor, served with inner sheathing of PVC tape and overall PVC sheathed in service connections, one twin core cable flat or circular stranded conductor size of 10 Sqmm, 2 core, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 mtr in depth and getting out in any type of soil, for laying of cable , erection of poles and stays etc, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Returning filling in including spreading,levelling,watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above starting point, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Sand cushioning to underground cables with a layer of sand 8cm before laying the cable and 15cm after lying the cable complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Sub class (B* brick, old size, brick covering laid dry, flat transversally along the length of cable on sand cushioning, with width equal to the length of the brick, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing GI tubing light grade with all fittings laid in trenches or under road crossing or fixed along walls / poles as protection pipe with clamps,nut, washer bolts (where necessary) bore of pipe 50mm, including taking down existing pipe, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and replacement of galvanised iron strip 32x 6 mm and fixing screws buried in ground or above ground for test point, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for cutting of existing road/ floor/ plinth/drain for taking out/laying of UG cable through GI pipe including necessary earth work excavation width up .5 Mtr, depth upto 1.0 mtr and making good to match with existing surface complete all as specified with PCC 1:3:6 type C1 by (using 20mm graded stone aggregate), complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Disconnecting the inlet and outlet connections from the electric circuit, taking out and strip opening and repair/replacement of defected parts in the 50 KVA voltage stabilizer as mentioned below:- (i) Disconnecting the moving arm, servo motor, control circuit and provide minor items reqd in voltage stabilizer (ii) Complete servicing of the voltage stabilizer, setting the output voltage 440 volt accuracy + 1% variation, input voltage changes upto + 50% complete servicing and testing all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:-Make of voltage stabilizer - Vinitec, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note-: Spare parts replaced shall be measured as supply only under the relevant items of BOQ.

Supply and fixing in replacement moving arm of 50 KVA voltage stabilizer 3 phase naturally oil cooled type, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement servo motor of 50 KVA voltage stabilizer 3 phase naturally oil cooled type, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement motor driver of 50 KVA voltage stabilizer 3 phase naturally oil cooled type, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement control circuit of 50 KVA voltage stabilizer 3 phase naturally oil cooled type, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fix in replacement ON LOAD change over switch 415V in sheet metal enclosures 4 pole of capacity 125 Amps, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F in replacement of existing unserviceable MCCB any size & capacity with MCCB 4 pole 160 Amps,Icu 36 KA MCCBs thermal magnetic release, with overload protection & suitable thimbles/extended terminal with nuts,bolts and washers etc including minor required additional/alternation for fixing and connecting up of MCCB, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: Rate of extended terminal deemed to be included in item of rate.

S&F in replacement of existing unserviceable MCCB any size & capacity with MCCB 4 pole 25 to 100 Amps,Icu 25 KA MCCBs thermal magnetic release, with overload protection & suitable thimbles/extended terminal with nuts,bolts and washers etc including minor required additional/alternation for fixing and connecting up of MCCB, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: Rate of extended terminal deemed to be included in item of rate.
