Development Work at Mayur Chatri Bundi

Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side, upto seven story height made with 40mm dia. M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre horizontal & vertical tubes joining with cup & lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S. clamps and M.S. staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it there after .The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-charge .The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose .The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding.

De-vegetation from monument by removing bushes, trees including complete uprooting from the wall & roofs/structures carefully including suitable chemical treatment to roots to avoid further growth including disposal of rubbish with in 50 mtr. Lead as per direction of Engineer in-charge.

To expose the original surface of stone art carefully by removing upper coatings of whitewash /paint / distemper etc. without any harm to the original hidden art work & further strengthen the original art work with a suitable coating of preservative and making it water tight as per direction of Engineer In-charge.

Random rubble masonry with hard stone in foundation and plinth for apron in Cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) etc complete as directed by engineer-in-charge.

Provision for Brick Tile / Lakhori Brick Masonry (brick size matching as per original) for watertightening and restoration of dome portion with Lime Sand Mortar 1:2 (1 Lime putty : 2 Sand) including preparation of mortar by traditional practice (by grinding) with traditional adhesive material like gud, belgiri, gond etc complete in all respect including all lead and lift as directed by engineer-in-charge.

Lime concrete terracing on roofs / dome with 25mm nominal size brick aggregate and 50% lime mortar 1:1:1:1 (1lime putty: 1coarse sand:1surkhi:1khakha/brick jeera) rammed and finished with gur and belgiri treatment complete including rounding of junctions with parapet wall shall be well in traditional lime chakki / grinding mill concrete shall be beating tamping for seven days including curing all lift and lead complete.

P & L Lime Surkhi Plaster 33mm thick in four coats in lime surkhi mortar 1:2 (1 Lime : 2 Surkhi) including preparation of mortar by traditional practice (by grinding) in specified course for base coarse and subsequent course & Loi, tamping, beating, curing till the shrinkage cracks are disappear. The work is to be done with all lead as the work is of restoration nature as per Jaipur practice including adding gur, methi & gugal on old walls including removal of all old loose and decade plaster, each coat to be done after 3 days of previous coat.

Providing & applying Lime kara 1:2 (1lime cream : 2 Zikki powder) grinding mortar with grinding mill/manually on lime base, on ceiling and all flat surface in two coats. First coat applying 3 mm to 4 mm thick and curing properly at least 7 days, second finishing coat done after 7 days of previous coat as per traditional practice.(thickness not more than 6 mm.)

Flush and ruled pointing over joints of dressed stone cladding, chajjas, jali etc. including racking the joints as per traditional practice including all leads and lifts with grinded mortar of lime putty and fine sand mixed in 1:2 ratio and gur, methi, gugal etc. are to be mixed as per traditional practice
