| 1.00Notes for all items of Schedule 'A' :- (i) The water supply line repair work to be carried out both in Defence Cantt as well as in Civil area in any description and in different locations in full / part. (ii) It is the responsibility of the Contractor to ensure that repair work is nowhere hampered during any stage i.e. currency of contract as such contractor shall prepare well in advance by liaisoning with concerned State / Central department authorities under whose jurisdiction it lies, in no case work to be stopped in half way for want of permission etc in case necessary fee if any shall be borne by the contractor for which no payment shall be reimbursed. (iii) Necessary barricade, diversion boards and necessary safety signs etc as per safety norms shall be made & arranged by Contractor without any extra cost to Govt. (iv) During execution damage occurred to any sort structure etc the same shall be made good to its original specification by the contractor without any extra cost to Govt. (v) In case of road cutting inside Defence Cantt is inevitable the same shall be cut to required size and shape only after obtaining written approval of Engineer-in Charge, in no case road cutting be done without written approval of EIC. Vice versa if road cutting in Civil area is inevitable in that case necessary prior permission to be obtained by the contractor from concerned Govt authorities. In case of any fees etc the same shall be borne by the contractor without any extra cost to Govt. The road cutting shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items. | 1.01Notes for all items of Schedule 'A' Contd/- (vi) Work shall be commencement and completed within the time slots allotted by EIC to the contractor for the said work. (vii) Engineer-in-Charge shall strictly ensure that the Work shall be carried out in batch wise portion of pipe line for replacement and span and ensure batch work shall be completed by contractor on the same day and pipe line shall be made ready for regular water supply in case the same is inescapable alternative / temporary arrangement shall be made by the contractor without any extra cost to Govt as directed by EIC so that regular water supply shall not be hampered. Notes for all items of Schedule 'A' :- (i) The water supply line repair work to be carried out both in Defence Cantt as well as in Civil area in any description and in different locations in full / part. M&L for cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1, using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in lintels upto 1.5m clear span, cills, steps, seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, roof kerbs, mud stops and the like including weathering, slightly rounded, chamfered angle and throating as directed including use and waste of form work (straight or curved) all exposed surface of concrete finished fair complete all as specified & as directed.
M&L for brick work with old size Fly Ash bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6.00 metre mean radius, built in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed.
M&L for rendering 10 mm thick in cement mortar 1:6 on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces, finished fair & even complete all as specified and as directed.
M&L for preparation of newly plastered / unplastered surfaces of walls & applying three coats of white wash complete all as specified.
M&L for cutting of existing PCC floor / hardstanding / Interlocking tiles path / WBM road with soling & premix carpet of any description for removing / laying UG Cables/ pipe line, depth of cutting not exceeding 120cm and width 60cm and filling the trench of road i.e. excluding top 20cm with existing aggregate obtained from cutting, watered and properly rammed to satisfaction of EIC and finally provide with & including 20 cm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate to entire width of trench & finally match the top surface to road & disposal of debris to a distance not exceeding 250 metre and depositing where directed including re-setting of interlocking tiles/ Paver block (where required) complete all as directed.
Taking up or down existing unserviceable Cast Iron/ Ductile Iron Pipes/ Mild Steel water main Pipes of 100mm bore of any class including all fittings with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints, flanged joints etc all as directed.
