Surface excavation n.exc 30 cm deep averaging 15 cm deep and getting out in soft/loose soil including Clearing away all grass vegetation, saplings, shrubs, brushwood, undergrowth, roots, and trees not exceeding 30 cm girth (measured one metre above ground level) and removing rubbish upto a distance of 50 metres complete all as specified and as directed..

M&L Excavating in trenches n.exc 1.5 m wide and n.exc 1.5 m in depth for foundation etc or for shafts wall cesspits manholes pier holes etc. n exc 10 sqm m on plan and n exc. 1.5 m in depth and getting out in any type of soil.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick using excavated soft/loose soil all as specified.

Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) each n exc 0.5 cu. M, getting out, returning, filling in and raming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25cm, watering, and removing surplus soil to a distance n exc 50m and making good surface in soft/ loose soil.

M&L River Sand filling under Paver blocks including spreading, levelling, watering and consolidating all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated soil n exc 50 m and depositing where directed at a level n exc 1.5m above the starting point.

M&L Hardcore of guage n.exc. 63mm, deposited spread & levelled in layers n.exc.15CM thick, watered & rolled/ rammed to a true surface using broken stone or boulders all as specified and as directed by engineer-in-charge.

M&L Moorum / Red bajri filling in floors or pavings laid in layers n.exc 15cm thick, spread, levelled and rammed including watering all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L RCC nominal mix type A1, (1:1.5:3, using 20mm graded stone aggregates) as in Columns,pillars,piers, posts and struts Note: The proportioning of cement and aggregate for mixing by weight shall be as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

M&L Plain cement concrete, type D2, (1:4:8, using 40mm graded stone aggregates) as in foundation, filling and mass concrete etc all as specified and as as directed by engineer-in-charge. Note: The proportioning of cement and aggregate for mixing by weight shall be as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

M&L PCC type C1, 1 : 3 : 6, (20mm graded aggregate) as in precast cement concrete in window or door cills, lintels, bressumers, steps, quion blocks ( use with masonry), string courses, copings, kneelers, apex stones, road kerbs, pier caps, columns, posts, boundary pillars, bed plates, pintle blocks, anchorage blocks, bounders (for stone walling), corbels, brackets, etc (of any section indicated), with plain fair faces including chamfers, weatherings, throating etc, and setting in cement mortar 1:6 complete with joints to match.

Use & Waste for formwork to sides of pillars, posts, struts, piers, columns etc for rectangular or polygonal rough finished surfaces of concrete.

M&L Mild steel CRS TMT bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends as in straining bars or securing with clips. etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L Mild steel TMT bars 6 to 8 mm dia Round Bars cut to length bent to shape required including cranking bending spirally for hooping for colums hooking ends and bending with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

All as per above item No.20.00 but 5mm dia and over upto 10mm dia as in stirrups, spacers and binders etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

S&F mild steel in framed work as in decorative doors or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces, etc, complete drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering. S&F galvanised, 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24 mm dia barbed with 2 mm dia barbs at 75 mm spacings and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolts, including, securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or staples or steel pins, etc as directed.
