PETTY REPAIR AND DAY TO DAY MAINT WORKS OF INTERNAL EXTERNAL ELECTRIFICATION AT RANIKHET CHAUBATTIA ALMORA NAINITAL AND KAUSANI UNDER GE RANIKHET

BOQ ( SCH 'A') Attending of day to day complaints, petty repair wks of E/M nature pertains to internal electrification/External electrification/ internal electric wiring, comprise of checking of existing electrical circuits / items i.e. various lighting luminaries, appliances, exhaust fan,switch/socket & other accessories, DB / MCCB incomer, MCB / MCCB etc for continuous electrical supply;checking of LT/HT overhead/underground electric lines with necessery excavation/ refilling in any type of soil as requied, checking of LT Panels for detection of nature of fault / defect; carrying out minor repairs etc as required to make the items functional or to restore electric supply with and incl tightening of loose/broken connections/ overhead/underground electric lines, insulating the naked wire, opening of bakelite sheet/cover plates/DB etc and refixng the same after necessary repairs, checking of street/security lights by taking down and refixing the same after necessary repair, replacing defective items provided under relevant item(s) here-in-after with and incl petty repairs items/materials i.e. fuses, thimbles (upto 10 sqmm single core wire), small wires of any size and description upto 1.5 m, lugs, screw, washer, nut bolts etc with and incl cutting of bakelite sheet for fixing of accessories, making all electric connection etc, in Md/OTM Accn and in any location within the area of Ranikhet Cantt (Half Moon, Alma,S&T, Butchry,Adm top, DHQ, MH area, Jhula Devi area,Ranijheel, Dulikhet, walna range, Majhkhali and Ghingharikhal area) and, by deploying sufficient number of qualified electricians & helpers alongwith suitable T&P, safety equipment & other necessary devices, every day including Sunday and Holiday, during time from 8:00 AM to 04:00 PM, complete all as specified and directed.

Note for item No 01 to 05 : (a) All the complaint(s) received will be lodged & rectified by the contractor rep and will have to maintain a proper record as directed in complaint register and in complaint slip. (b) Complaint slip and complaint register will be provided by the contractor without any extra charge. (c) Complaint register will be produced on daily basis to JE and Engr-in-charge (d) If contractor or his tradesmen fails to attend and rectify the complaint(s), as described earlier, on same day or any stipulated time given by the JE/Engineer-in-charge, the penal recovery / penalty of Rs. 200.00 (Rupees Two Hundred only) per complaint per day for first day and after that Rs. 500.00 (Rupees Five Hundred only) per complaint per day shall be recovered from the contractor’s dues.

(e) Contractor shall provide and deploy adequate experienced professional to carry out day to day complaints and tradesman will remain present in Ranikhet area in one shift from 0800Hrs to 1600 Hrs from Monday to Saturday. For Ranikhet one electrician and one helper will be provided by the contractor per day. For Chaubattia, Almora, Kausani and Nainital Station one Electrician will be provided by the contractor per day for each ibid station. In case of any breakdown/ emergency, contractor shall make arrangement to attend and rectify the complaints in odd hours on sunday/ holiday also. The rates quoted in BOQ under respective items shall be deemed to be included the same and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. (f) Whatever shall be the nature of electrcal complaint, the wholesole rectification responsibilty lies with the contractor.

(g) The quoted rate are deemed to be inclusive of petty repairs items/materials i.e. fuses, small wires single / twin / three core up to 1.0 sqmm, MCB connecting links, DIN rails, screws, nuts, bolts & washers, aluminium / copper lugs / thimbles, insulation tape, CTC and cotton waste for cleaning burnt area etc as required at site, during execution of petty repair wks or attending complaints. Nothing extra shall be admissible on this account at any stage.

(h) Any major items/materials which are required to be replaced with new one i.e. switch, socket, bell push, lamp holder, ceiling rose, fan regulator, modular accessories, ballast / chock, lamp, bakelite sheet, MCCB, MCB, casing & caping, plug top, light luminaries, PVC box, conduits etc shall be mesaured & paid separately under respective item(s) as supply only and labour charges of same shall deemed to be included in unit rate against item No 01 of Sch 'A' BOQ by the contractor.

(j) Quoted rate shall deemed to be inclusive of cutting chases for concealed conduit and insertion of metal boxes in the wall wherever required and making good of disturbed wall surfaces with cement plaster, putty and OBD etc to match with the existing surfaces and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account.

(k) The cost of transportation (to and fro) and other necessary T&P (i.e. screw driver set each sizes, line tester, combination and cutting pliers, cutting knife, hand gloves suitable for available voltages, Test lamp with conductor and holder etc), equipment and safety gear shall be arranged / brought by contractor to complete the job and nothing extra shall be paid to the contractor in this effect. (l) Old unserviceable materials retrieved during rectification of complaints/defects shall be the property of the contractor and necessary credits for the same shall be charged/recovered from the contractor as per sch of credit from his dues/RAR/Final bill as the case may be and no any claim on this account/quality/condition/quantum of material retrieved shall be admissibble and nothing extra shall be paid for the same by the Govt.

Supply only high quality indoor LED PLL base lamp 4 pin, 18 Watt (with inbuiled driver) complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only High quility LED T8 tube rod 20 Watt (with inbuild driver) with single side connection including connection with wire of 1.5 sqmm twin twisted flexible cable complete all as specified & directed.
