SPECIAL REPAIRS TO CERTAIN BLDGs FOR EXTERNAL PAINT SCHEME UNDER GE I NAVY JAMNAGAR

Removing Shrubs, vegetation, roots etc., from External wall surfaces, by dismantling Brick work, RCC or taking down plastering as the case may be, including dismantling SWR pipes, OH PVC service tanks etc., and refixing the same in orginal position and making good the surface dismantled all as specified and directed by EIC. (Area to be dismantled exc 1 SM and not Exc 3 SM)

Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls, etc., raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc. and removing rubbish off the premises to a distance exceeding 250 m but not exceeding 500 m complete.

M & L for Rendering 20 mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 on brick or concrete surface mixed with WPC @ the weight of minimum 2% by weight of cement mixed or as per manufacturer instruction , and finished the surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. (Note : WPC measured and paid separately.

M&L for rendering 10 mm thick in CM 1:3 on ceiling surfaces of roof projection / chajjas working height upto 9 mtr including provn of necessary scaffolding , safety belts etc complete all as specified and as directed.(Note: Quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of working upto 9Mts heigh , necessary scaffolding, safety belt etc shall be arranged by the contractor without any extra cost to Govt.)

M&L for preperation of newly plastered ceiling surfaces and applying three coats of white wash complete all as specified.

M&L for preperation of old surfaces of walls and applying one coat of oil bound distemper complete all as specified.

Supply only Integral Water Proofing Compound (ISI Marked) of Make : CICO , Acco Proof , Impermo , Aqua flex as approved.

Cutting, Chipping and removing all damaged and debonded concrete and plaster from the RCC members of the bldg., manually or mechanically, so as to expose the corroded reinforcement bars including the rent of tools, scaffolding complete all as specified and directed by EIC

M&L for complete removal of existing treatment by mechanical means (any no of layers) , Washing, rubbing down and stopping of distempered and painted surfaces of wall surfaces complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for application of one coat of primer with sealant properties using "Seal - O - Prime" or "weather coat exterior primer" (berger make or equivalent in other makes) complete and allowed to dry overnight to receive first coat of emulsion paint over 0.50 mm thick wall care putty complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.(Note : Putty as ordered to be executed will be measured & paid seperately under item No 11).

M&L for providing layer of 0.50 mm thick wall care putty of Ms KK / Birla or equivalent as approved applied as per manufacturers instructions complete to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge .

M&L for application of first coat of Exterior emulsion paint on primed wall surfaces using rollers made from foam or synthetic fibre, to get a smooth and tint free surface, all as specified and allowed to dry for at least 8 hrs/ overnight to receive second coat of emulsion paint complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for application of second coat of Exterior emulsion paint on wall surfaces using rollers made from foam or synthetic fibres, to get smooth and tint free surface, all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supplying and application of rust remover/converter (rebaklense RR of M/Sfosroc chemicals India ltd or Amandur (Manufactured by GK technocom or equivalent as approved ) over the corroded reinforcement bar where ever micro concreting is required and cleaning the same after application incl cot of all materials, rent of tools, scaffolding, cost of brushes etc. complete all as specified and directed by EIC

Supply and application of Nitozinc Primer (Manufactured by M/S fosroc Chemicals India Ltd or equivalent as approved) over the exposed steel reinforcement after removing the rust scales from the exposed reinforcement rods in one SM area including the cost of all materials, rent of tools, scaffolding, cost of paint complete all as specified and directed by EIC

Supplying and application of nitobond EP (Manufactured by M/s Fosroc chemicals India Ltd or equivalent as approved) epoxy bonding agent over the old concrete surfaces including the cost all materials, rent of tools, scaffolding, cost of paint, brush etc. complete all as specified and directed by EIC

Provinding additional reinforcement bars in place of more than 1/3 corroded reinforcement bars incl the charges for cutting, bending, placing and fixing in position, using Lok-fix (Manufactured by M/S Fosroc Chemicals India Ltd or equivalent as approved) including the cost of all materials, labour, cost of steel bars and scaffolding complete all as specified and directed by EIC

Supply and provisioning Renderoc RG (manufactured by M/S Fosroc chemicals India Ltd) to an average thickness of 70 mm for beam and Cloumn, fluid micro concrete shall be mixed with 6mm down coarse aggregate and specoified quantity of water and mixed using a power operated slow speed stirrer and pouring inside the form work including the cost of all materials, rent for tools, scaffolding, form work and labour charges complete all as specified and directed by EIC

Supplying and Providing of shear connectors of 8 mm dia inside 12mm dia holes at 50 mm deep @ 500 mm c/c after cleaning the holes to remove the dust particles and fixing the shear connectors using Likfix 'S' manufactured by MS fosroc Chemcials Indfia Ltd or equivalent as approved) polyster resin anchor grout, including the cost of all materials, rent of tools, scaffolding and labour charges complete all as specified and directed by EIC

M & L for treating holes, cracks etc., up to 5mm making "V' groove using patti blades and filling the cracks with ready to use crack fillers and allowed to dry, complete all as specified and directed by EIC

M & L for treating holes, cracks etc., more than 5mm upto 10 mm, by making "V" groove using patti blades and filling the cracks with cement and sand aggregate mixture developed with polymers like Home shield crack fill paste, Home shiels advance latex plus and home shield cement mix plus (Berger make or equivalent) and allowed to dry, complete all as specified and directed by EIC

M & L for treating holes, cracks etc., more than than 10 mm and upto 40mm and filling the cracks by using flexible, 2 pack, poly sulphide sealants like Berger home shiels Joint seal GG/PG (Berger make or equivalent) and allowed to dry, complete all as specified and directed by EIC. (Note: For item No 1 to 22 : Quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive for woking in a height upto 9 Mts , necessary scaffolding , safety belt etc shall be arranged by the contractor without any extra cost to Govt, quoted rate is deemed to beicusive for the same).
