OD42684/2025-2026:Plantation of mangroves along the bio-bund with a total length of 6.95 km for the bund width of 3 meters in layers, with a distance of 60 cm between seeds and 30 cm from the edges of the bund. The planting process involves the use of 8 beds, each measuring 12m x 1.2m x 0.3m, constructed using split bamboo tied with jute. The required soil for the plantation will be collected from the nearby kayal (backwater). Once the mangrove seeds have germinated (within 6 months), they will be carefully transplanted onto the biobund including earthing up using slurry pumps.- (Rate analysis as per discussion with KIIFB ESG wing) including maintenance for a period of 3 years, monthly rent for the land for nursery area.
