Excavation for road way in hilly areas in all heights and depths and in all kinds of soil by manual/ mechanical means, including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock, soft rock, hard rock chiseling or wedging out rock (where blasting is required ) and their intermediate classification of soil complete including setting out true to the required lines grades, cutting and trimming of side slopes, camber, super elevation and levels as shown in the drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in Charge complete in conformity with the requirements of MORD Technical Specification section 300 and 1600 and sorting out and stacking of useful materials with in all leads and lifts of material in acquired road width and transporting of un-useful materials for filling in road ways, camber, embankments for grade improvements and disposal of all surplus materials to the on approved dumping sites through all modes of transportation including head load or animal transport or by mechanical means including leveling, fine dressing and carriage of machineries, materials, tools, equipments and safety measures and other incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and labour if required. Recovery of stones to the tune of 496.38 cubic metres quantity at the rate of Rs. 300/- only (Rupees three hundred only) per cubic metres shall be effected from the contractor running bills on pro-rata basis as per actual quantity executed. Any loss to the public/private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be compensated by him in all cases, as per the entire satisfaction and directions of Engineer-in-Charge, including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Construction of embankment with approved materials deposited at site from roadway cutting and excavation from drains and foundation of all other structures, graded and compacted to meet requirement, including setting out, true to the lines, grades, width and side slopes in accordance with drawings, including spreading the embankment material with motor –Grader in successive layers of 200mm (two hundred millimeter) uniform thickness, and compacting with vibratory roller 8-10 (eight to ten) Tonne static weight to meet the requirements of table 300.1 & 300.2 as per MORD technical specification section 300,1600 and as per the entire satisfaction and directions of Engineer-in-Charge, including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. The rate is including Octroi, Royality, Malkana, toll tax,GST or any other taxes imposed by the Government.

Earth work in excavation for all type of road structure such as retaining walls, breast walls, culverts, drains and parapets etcetera in all type of classification of soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock, hard rock chiseling /wedging out rocks (Where blasting is prohibited) as per drawings and M.O.R.D. technical specification section 300 and 1600 and as per direction of the Engineer- In – Charge including setting out, shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal of materials upto any lead and lift including dressing of sides bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable approved material to the original surface in layers not exceeding 150mm ( one hundred fifty milimetre) compacted thickness including shoring and strutting and pumping and bailing out water (surface and sub soil water) upto any depth and any quantam of water including cleaning of slush which may arrise out during dewatering as per entire satisfaction and directions of Engineer-in-charge, including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Providing and laying mechanically mixed and vibrated concrete for plain cement concrete nominal mix 1:4:8 (One cement isto four sand isto eight graded crushed stone aggregate 40mm (Forty millimeter) nominal size), on ground or under water for all type of structure, in R/wall / B/wall and the like etcetera complete including pumping or bailing out water, dewatering (surface/sub soil water)including removal of slush which may arise at time of laying concrete for all heights/depths including cost of form work and curing complete for 14 (fourteen) days as per drawing and MORD Technical specification section 800, 900, 1200 and 1600 as per entire satisfaction and directions of Engineer-in-charge, including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Back filling with granular materials behind abutment, Retaining wall/Breast wall, Wing walls and the like complete as per drawings and MORD technical specification section1200,1600 and as per direction and entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Providing and laying 100mm (One Hundred millimeter) dia PVC pipe Weep Holes in brick masonry/plain /reinforced concrete abutments, wing wall/ return wall, retaining walls and breast walls, extending through the full width of the structure with slope of IV:20H ( One vertical : twenty Horizontal) towards draining face complete as per drawing and MORD technical specification section 700 and 1200 and as per the directions and entire satisfactions of Engineer-in-Charge, including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Providing and laying mechanically mixed and vibrated reinforced Cement Concrete in Super structure complete as per drawings and MORD technical specifications section 800,900, and 1400 (R.C.C. grade M -25 (M- twenty five ) design mix with cement contents not less than 400 kg/cum ( four hundred kilogram per cubic metre) with 20mm (twenty milimeter) nominal size graded crushed stone aggregate in deck slab including the cost of form work and curing complete for deck slab , as per entire satisfaction and directions of Engineer-in-charge, including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Loosening of the ground upto a level of 300 mm (three hundred milimeter) below sub-grade level water graded with motar grade and compacting by rolling with Road rollar 8-10kN static weight at OMC to achieve the required density as per Tables 300.1 and 300.2 of MORD Technical Specification section 300 and as per entire satisfaction and directions of Engineer-in-charge, including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Providing, laying, spreading by mechanically means and compacting to 75mm (seventy five millimeter) compacted thickness, crushed stone aggregates of Grading-II, 63mm to 45mm (sixty three millimeter to forty five millimeter) nominal size to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness using templates, hand packing rolling with three wheeled roller 80-100 (eighty to hundred) kN static weight in stages to proper grade and camber including applying and brooming stone screening Type-B of size 11.2 mm (eleven point two millimetre) nominal size at the rate of 0.20 (zero point two zero) cubic metre per 10 Sqm. (ten square metre) and binding material at the rate 0.06(Zerro point Zero six)cubic metre per ten square metre to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density as per MORD Technical specification section 400 and as per entire satisfaction and directions of Engineer-in-charge, including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Providing laying, spreading by mechanically means and compacting to 75mm (seventy five millimeter) compacted thickness, stone aggregates of Grading-III, 53mm to 22.4mm (fifty three to twenty two point four millimeter) size to water bound macadam specification including spreading and in uniform thickness, using template, hand packing motor grader, rolling with three wheeled roller 80-100 (eighty to hundred) kN static weight in stages to proper grade and camber including applying and brooming stone screening type-B of size 11.2mm (eleven point two millimeter) nominal size at the rate of 0.18cum (zero point one eight cubic metres) per ten square meter of road surface to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density for grading-III as per MORD Technical specification section 400 and as per entire satisfaction and directions of Engineer-in-charge, including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Providing and laying 30mm (thirty milimetre) thick compacted thickness bituminous concrete with minimum 100-120 (one hundred to one hundred twenty) TPH hot mix batch type plant with electronic control grading-II using crushed aggregate 13.2 mm (thirteen decimal two millimetre) nominal size of specified grading premixed with bituminous binder VG-10 (Viscosity grade-Ten) at the rate of 5.5% (Five point five) percent of mix weight and using cement as filler with quantity not less than 2% ( two percent) by weight of total aggregate or as per design mix transported to site, laid with sensor paver finisher hydraulic with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, over a previsiouly prepared surface and rolling complete with smoth three wheel roller 8-10 (eight to ten) tonne capacity for initial break down rolling and vibratory roller 8-10 (eight to ten) tonne capacity or pneumatic tyre roller of 12-15 (twelve to fifteen) tonne with tyre pressure of atleast 0.56 MPa (Zero decimal five six) for intermediate rolling and finish rolling with 6-8 (six to eight) tonne smoth wheeled tandom roller to achive the desire compaction as per MoRTH technical specification section 500 complete in all respect or as per entire satisfaction and directions of Engineer-in-charge, including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals.
