Systematic maintenance of track in railway siding for all items as included in the specification para 3.0 to 3.9

Rectification of damaged track on account of derailment including changing of any no. of rails, points and crossing, sleepers with fittings and fixtures, ballast including aligning, correction of cross levels and packing. (The required material will be supplied by FCI at site of work free of cost. After satisfying the terms and conditions of clause 5 of conditions of contract, if any payment is admissible then only the contractor will be entaitled for the same.) Straight/Curved rack

Supply of BG pre-stressed concrete sleepers for 52/60 kg rail as per IR specification and drawing including cost of 4 Nos MTC inserts to site of work. (The rate will be inclusive of inspection charges, trasnpotation, loading, unloading and stacking complete as per the direction of Engineering-in-charge).

Removing of old/damaged wooden, CI/Steel trough sleepers with fittings and laying of MBC sleepers with fittings & fixture jointing and fastening to specified gauge, alignment, levelling etc complete as per IR specification and as per the direction of Engineering-in-charge.(Required fittings shall be supplied free of cost by Department)

Supplying and stacking of approved quality of stone ballast of 50 mm gauge confirming to technical specification and as per direction of Engg-in-charge.

Spreading out of stone ballast from stacked at different locations, including carriage of ballast with in the depot premises to work spot including loading and unloading the ballast, dressing levelling etc as directed by the Engineering in-charge.

Deduction in payment at the rate of 10% of the accepted rate per ETKM per month incase the contractor not adhering to the annual gang routing programmme for track maintenance in the MTF.

For other than PSC Sleeper(BG)

Deduct for not cleaning & clearing of side drains including disposing of muck beyond railway boundary as per instructions of Engineer in-charge to keep drains clean and clearing cutting etc.

Removal of all types of muck/malba and garbage which includes waste material, animal carcass, cow dung, debris, sweepings etc., from track and dumping/ throwing, as directed by engineer in-charge following all rules/regulations of State/ Central Govt. and Authorised Bodies:

Deduct for not -uprooting of weeds/jungle/dressing including scarifying ballast in entire profile upto toe of ballast on track

Trimming of tree branches coming within 4m of centre line of track & those obstructing views of Curves /LCs/Signal/Indicator at locations in section & station yard , as specified by Engineer in charge including disposal of branches, bushes outside cess/yard. (Note: Girth of more than 30 cm will only be considered as tree)

Supplying and spraying in specified proportion Weedicide Chemical, capable to kill entire weed on track / cess / embankment with all labour, material, tools & plants etc. complete job in all respect. Scientific name of the chemical is Isopropylamine Salt of Glyphosate, in which active ingredient is Glyphosate (41%), colour is light amber to brownish, very low in toxicity and has favourable enviremental characteristics. It will be ensured that no weed growth occurs upto six months period, otherwise respraying shall be done by the contractor
