Grading roof for water proofing treatment with Cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)

Providing and laying water proofing treatment on roofs of slabs by applying cement slurry mixed with water proofing cement compound consisting of applying: (a) after surface preparation, first layer of slurry of cement @ 0.488 kg/sqm mixed with water proofing cement compound @ 0.253 kg/sqm. (b) laying second layer of Fibre glass cloth when the first layer is still green. Overlaps of joints of fibre cloth should not be less than 10 cm. (c) third layer of 1.5 mm thickness consisting of slurry of cement @ 1.289 kg/sqm mixed with water proofing cement compound @ 0.670 kg/sqm and coarse sand @ 1.289 kg/sqm. This will be allowed to air cure for 4 hours followed by water curing for 48 hours. The entire treatment will be taken upto 30 cm on parapet wall and tucked into groove in parapet all around. (d) fourth and final layer of brick tiling with cement mortar (which will be paid for separately.For the purpose of measurement the entire treated surface will be measured.

Dismantling doors, windows and clerestory windows (steel or wood) shutter including chowkhats, architrave, holdfasts etc. complete and stacking within 50 metres lead : Of area 3 sq. metres and below .

Dismantling old plaster or skirting raking out joints and cleaning the surface for plaster including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 metres lead.

12 mm cement plaster of mix 1:6 (1 cement : 6 fine sand)

Repair to plaster of thickness 12mm to 20 mm in patches of area 2.5 sqm and under, including cutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing plastering the wall surface with white cement based polymer modified self curing mortar, including disposal of rubbish, all complete as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge.

Removing dry or oil bound distemper, water proofing cement paint and the like by scrapping, sand papering and preparing the surface smooth including necessary repairs to scratches etc. complete.

Distempering with oil bound washable distemper of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade New work (two or more coats) over and including priming coat with cement primer.

Finishing walls with Premium Acrylic Smooth exterior paint with Silicone additives of required shade :New work (Two or more coats applied @ 1.43 ltr/ 10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 2.20 kg/ 10 sqm)

Cement concrete flooring 1:2:4 (1 cement: 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate) finished with a floating coat of neat cement including cement slurry, but excluding the cost of nosing of steps etc. 40mm thick with 20mm nominal size stone aggregate. complete.by the direction in Engineer - in - charge work to be execuated as per specification a rate of above given item

Providing and fixing M.S. grills of required pattern in frames of windows etc. with M.S. flats, square or round bars etc. including priming coat with approved steel primer all complete. 9.48.1 9.48.2 Fixed to steel windows by welding
