State Plan-2025-26- ARWSS to Kothakulangara South and Manickyamangalam Villages- Supply and erection of VT pump set having discharge 55 lps against a total head of 52 M at Raw water pump house at Kalady

OD234064/2024-2025:Supply and erection of VT Pump set with following specifications 1.Pump-Supply ,erection, testing and commissioning of KWA qualified reputed make water lubricated VT pump set with bronze impellers shaft with MS ERW column pipe of suitable diameter and length. The pump set is coupled with vertical hollow motor. The pump set having capacity of 55 lps discharge and 52 m head 2.Motor-supply ,erection, testing and commissioning of KWA pre qualified reputed(speed of motor-1470 rpm) screen protected drip poof squirrel cage vertical hollow shaft induction motor suitable for operation at 415 V 3 phases 50Hz.AC supply for above pump set. The motor should confirm to EEFI/IS 325.Supply of suitable size best quality ISI marked PN 1.6 heavy duty cast iron double flanged sluice valve and reflex valve suitable for the above pump set. Fabricating and connecting delivery pipe of required size with Y connection and necessary joints made out of suitable size MS pipe in suitable length with required fanged joints and sealing on supports as per condition. Supply of motor is including providing suitable concrete foundation, cost of cement sand and metal etc complete. Flexible coupling shall be used for coupling of pumps and motors. 3.Starter-Supply ,erection testing and commissioning of suitable rating automatic soft starter for pump sets with all protections with suitable cables and IS standard panel board from insulator to starter, ELCB/RCCB , capacitor etc including necessary cabling through suitable PVC conduits cable trays, termination cables ,gland etc. conforming to IE rules 4.Panel board-Supply ,erection, testing and commissioning of panel board consisting of suitable capacity TPN switch with HRC fuse/MCCB volt meter with selector switch, ammeter with selector switch, fitted with 3 nos.of indicator lamps with all fittings as per IE rules, panel board shall have felicities and capacity for operating 2 number of motors of above capacity .The panel should have provision for fixing capacitor and giving electrical connection to all equipment as per IE rules. The panel shall be fitted on common base frame on suitable foundation >5. Cabling work-Supply, laying, testing and commissioning of suitable size XLPE cables as per IS standards for the above pump set from panel board to starter and from starter to motor considering energy conservation. >6.Earthing-Supply of all material and providing suitable earthling by using suitable size pip/plate earthling/Copper strip buried in ground and giving double earthling to motor, starter ,panel board etc. as per IE standards with suitable cable and connecting the same to the earth pit provided as per IS 3043/87 and IE rules etc. complete. 7.Capacitor-Supply,erection,testing and commissioning of heavy duty APP capacitor for the motor to get a power factor above 0.95 the capacitor shall confirm to IS 2834.8.Valves-Supply of suitable size best quality heavy duty ISI marked CI double fanged sluice valve with PN 1.6 and non return valve with suitable pressure rating .Fitting of valves shall include proper RCC support especially for non return valves. In case of positive suction pump set sluice valve should be in suction as well as delivery sides for easy repair works. 9.Delivery pipe connection-Supply and fitting of suitable size delivery pipe of best quality MS of thickness not less than 10mm for a total length of 16 m or as required at site and valves, specials etc. complete and connecting the delivery side of the pump with the pumping main Including Five years Warranty
