Jungle clearance in borrow area, building premises, flanks and slopes of the roads, canals and embankment by removing the grass and the jungle bushes from the top including weeding out shrubs including small roots and levelling etc. complete as per specification and direc-tion of E/I. (Specification is revised by central schedule rate committee in the meeting held on 11.01.84 in the office of Engineer-in-chief, technical examination cell, Patna.)

Earth work in excavation of foundation trenches in ordinary soil (Vide classification of soil-item A) and disposal of excavated earth so obtained (50 M. away from the edge of the trenches) with initial lead of 150 M and initial lift of 1.5 M as per specification and direction of E/I.

Extra for earth work in marshy soil, slush and daldal (Vide classification of soil item-F) and all complete as per specification and direction of E/I.

Earth work in excavation of foundation trenches as per designed section in ordinary rock or soft rock (Vide classification of soil item-C) and disposal of excavated materials so obtained (50 M away from the edge of the trenches) with initial lead of 150 M and initial lift of 1.5 M as per specification and direction of E/I. (soft rock where blasting is not required and approved by the concerned C.E.)

Earth work in filling foundation trenches or back filling of masonary structures with pervious soil in layers not exceeding 150 mm thick, well watered, rammed and fully compacted and finally dressed with earth obtained from borrow pits beyond 150 m lead but upto 1/2 Km. with all lifts and carriage by truck including loading unloading, spreading, const-ruction and maintenance of haul road etc. as per specification and direction of E/I.

Providing shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and its removal after use in foundation as per specification and direction of E/I.

Driving M.S. sheet piles (manually/mecha-nically) by hammer and/or monkey includ-ing drlling holes and welding of piles as necessary and cutting sheet piles accord-ing to requirement at site staging, scaffold-ing, supply of all equipments including carriage of equipments upto work site by truck, carts and head load etc. as per specification and direction of E/I. but the excluding the cost of sheet pile including two coats of paint etc. all complete.
