SCHEDULE 'A' PART-I (SOLAR POWER PLANT)
SCOPE OF WORK INCLUDES ALL BELOW MENTIONED ITEMS AS WELL AS OTHER ITEMS REQUIRED FOR SUCCESSFUL COMMISSIONING TESTING AND SMOOTH OPERATION OF SOLAR PV PLANT CAPACITY 0.5 MW AT BAREILLY. Supply, installing, testing and commissioning of grid connected Solar PV plant of 500 KW AC side with 600 KWp DC side capacity including ballasted type module mounting structure, solar grade DC copper cable upto inverter, array junction boxes, MC connectors, AC combination boxes, AC distribution board , junction / combiner boxes (including the module junction box, string junction box and main junction box equipped with appropriate functioning safety including fuses,SPD , grounding etc.) pump/motor with necessary piping system, valves, foundation/staging work, as conditions for Solar Panel comprising of following sub components/sub systems and installation accessories complete including having following features complete all as specified and as directed in the technical specification of tender document and meeting the specifications as given subsequently in Particular Specification & as directed in scope of work and technical specification. Note- Items from 2.001 to 2.134 shall be considered as one item of Solar PV plant and cost of these items are deemed to be included in Item No.- 2.000.
Solar PV Module
Solar modules not less than 330 watts each as per detail technical specification mention in Particular specification of tender document.
Modules should have efficiency of not less than 16% and the fill factor should be above 75% with cell and module both manufactured in INDIA. Make : Waaree / Vikram/Jackson/Emvee/Adani Solar/ Tata Power Solars Ltd/ Neosol/ Satvik Green / Rhaine Solar (DCR Modules)

Supply and installation of modules and installation is to be done as per the approved design. PV Modules of different models, capacity, make, batch shall not be used in the work.
Solar module shall be inspected and tested at a factory in India in the presence of an officer detailed by the Accepting Officer before despatch to the execution site.
Material Warranty:(i) The contractor should warrant the Solar Module(s) to be free from the defects and / or failures specified below for a period not less than 10 (ten) years from the date of completion of work. He will obtain similar warranty from the original manufacturer and will submit the same to the GE (projects) Bareilly. However contractor will be responsible for the enforcement of warranty which shall include (a) Defects and / or failures due to manufacturing (b) Defects and / or failures due to quality of materials (c) Non conformity to specifications due to faulty manufacturing and / or inspection processes.
Performance Warranty: PV modules must be warranted by the contractor for output peak wattage, which should not be less than 90% at the end of 10 years and 80% at the end of 25 years. He will obtain similar warranty from the original manufacturer and will submit the same to the department. However contractor will be responsible for the enforcement of warranty. If Module(s) fail(s) to exhibit such power output in prescribed time span, the contractor / manufacturer will be bound to either deliver additional PV Module(s) to replace the missing power output with no change in area of site used or replace the PV Module(s) without any extra cost at the sole discretion of GE (project) Bareilly. An amount as detailed in Sch 'A' Notes here-in-before shall be held against as security deposit..
Module Mounting Structure
Supply and Installation and comissioning of Ballast type solar module mounting structure as per designed and detail specified in the particular specification for the Different Roof Top . Make : Jackson/Ganges International
Material : Mild steel structure, Hot Dip Galvanised of 80 micron thick, corrosion resistant and electrolytically compatible with material used in modular frame. Galvanization shall conform to IS-2629, 4759 & 4736 as applicable.The fasteners shall be stainless steel to fix with the modules and with pre fabricated PCC Bricks. The contractor shall submit the design, length, section, detailed layout etc. of the structure.
Minimum Module ground clearance should be 300 mm.
The structure should be capable of withstanding a wind load of 180 km/hr after installation of pre fabricated PCC blocks size of 400 X 150 X 150 mm
PCC blocks should comply with IS 2185-1 (2005)
The tilt angle is kept at 12 degree , module orientation is landscape type. IS 875: Part 3 - 2015 for the design loads for Buildings and structures- Wind Loads
The array structure shall be grounded properly using maintenance free earthing kit
All fasteners are to be used of SS304. Roof protection rubber pad are used that made of 100% STYRENE BUTADIENE (SBR) Rubber crub of specific gravity of 1.047, thickness of 1/2''density of 0.04 lb/cum as per standard with testing standards as per tensile testing- ASTM D412-92, Accelerator Weathering test- ASTM D-4587, UV Exposure and Tensile Porperties- ASTM D624-91 and ISO 2322:2014(EN), it is made up of recycled material with self ignite temp of>440 degree Celsius, melting point>200 degree celsius.
The mounting structures of solar PV modules, electrical works and overall workmanship of the grid solar power plant up to inverter must be warranted for a period minimum 05 (Five) years as detailed in Particular Specifications. If any of the item fails to conform to this warranty, the contractor/ manufacturer will repair or replace the items at their own expenses. Design structural drawings of module mounting structure alongwith design calculations shall be submited by the contractor duly vetted from NIT / IIT / Govt Research Institute. The cost of same shall be deemed to be included in this item.
Power Conditioning Unit (On grid Inverters)
Supply and Installation and comissioning of Solar Grid Connected inverter of capacity 500 KW, 3 phase, 440 Volt, AC operated, 50 Hz, outdoor type with following features complete all as per technical specifications given in Particular Specification and directed. Make : Delta/ABB/SMA/Polycab/Huawei/Solis/ Sungrow.
The Power Grid should have the following salient features:-
The PCU / inverters should be tested from the MNRE approved test centres / NABL / BIS / IEC accredited testing-calibration laboratories. Test certificates for PCU / Inverters shall be submitted to the Engineer-in-Charge.
The charge controller (if any) / MPPT units environmental testing should qualify IEC 60068-2 (1, 2, 14, 30) / Equivalent BIS standard. The junction boxes / enclosures should be IP 65 (for out door) / IP 54 (indoor) and as per IEC 529 specifications.
Built-in meter and data logger to monitor plant performance through external computer shall be provided.
The power conditioning units / inverters should comply with applicable IEC / equivalent BIS standard for efficiency measurements and environmental tests as per standard codes IEC 61683 / IS 61683 and IEC 60068-2 (1,2,14,30) / Equivalent BIS Standard

SOLAR DC CABLES
Supply laying and testing Solar DC copper cables multi stranded conductor, XLPE or XLPO insulted, IR/UV protected conforming to TUV 2 PfG 1169/08.2007 as per the technical specification mentioned in Particular Specifications of size not less than 4 sqmm and maximum voltage drop shall be limited to 2%. The solar cable shall be laid for interconnecttion of PV modules, PV modules to DC DB and DC DB to inverter. Make : Polycab/ KEI/ Apar Cables/ Seichem/ Leoni Cables

The DC cable size shall be minimum of 4.0 sqmm copper,Solar cable shall be aesthetically tied to Module Mounting Stucture using UV resistant cable ties suitable for out door application.
DC DISTRIBUTION BOARD
Supply and installation of DCDBs for 600 KWp plant as per the specification mention in particular specifications.
The DC distribution box shall be of the thermos-Plastic with UL 94 for fire safety and SS fasteners IP65 DIN-rail mounting type.
DC surge protection devise (SPD), class 2 as per IEC 60364-5-53
The fuses IEC/ equivalent BIS standard should comply with applicable IEC/ equivalent BIS standard for general safety requirements for connectors, switches, circuit breakers, low-voltage switch gear as per standard codes IS/IEC 60947 (Part 1, 2 & 3), EN 50521 .
Number of DC SPD with specification : 1000 VDC , Up :1.9kv , Imax :40 KA , Ucpv : 585 V DC , Iscpv : 2000 A in DCDB should be EQUIVALENT TO No. of MPPTs in Inverter, number of I/P and O/P in DCDB should be equal to number of string inputs in the inverter

Supply and installation and testing of ACDBs for 500 KW roof top solar power plant as per the specification mention in particular specifications including following components:: (i) AC circuit breaker, 4-pole AC surge protection devise (SPD), class2 as per IEC 60364-5-53 ,AC SPD with specification for 3 phase and 1 neutral ,Uc :335V Ac , Up : 1.5 KV , In : 20 KA , Imax : 40 KA (ii) Each ACDB should be having MFM with Accuracy class 0.5 , panel meter compatible with RS 485 port communication compatible with remote monitoring system . (iii) The panel shall be duly wired with suitable size of 1.1kV, PVC insulated cable and terminals shall be brought out for cable connections. 10% spare terminals subjected to minimum one of each rating shall be provided on each distribution switchgear. Supply, laying and testing XLPE insulated, PVC sheathed single or multi-core flexible copper conductor cables with UV-stabilized outer sheath , 650/100 volts conforming to IS 7098 part - 1/1988 of following sizes :

(ii) The total voltage drops on the cable segments from the solar grid inverter to the building distribution board shall not exceed 3.0%
Supply, laying and testing XLPE insulated, armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade, cross-sectional area 3.5 core 50 sq. mm (from 30 KW ACDB to LT panel) fixing with suitable clamps on floors/ walls/ roof top all as specified and directed.

Supply and Installation of ABC STORED PRESSURE TYPE FIRE EXTINGUISHERS each of capacity 4 kg as per IS 15683 , Range of jet 4 mtrs maximum period for which jet maintended 16 sec , working pressure -15 kgf/cm² , hydro pressure - 35 kgf/cm² , Bursting pressure -55 kgf/cm² , Fire Rating - 2A,34B , full weight - 6.75 kg.
SCHEDULE 'A' PART-II (Maintenance and Operation)
Operation and Maintenance for FIRST year of roof top SPV Plant of capacity 500 KW on turnkey basis by deplyoing one ITI Qualified supervisor and providing all services inclusive of washing & cleaning of solar Panels / other eqpts and other maintenance schedules as per OEM of daily, monthly, half-yearly and yearly basis including Sunday and holidays for which scope is as under.
(i) Repair/replacement of solar modules, mechanical structure of solar module, electrical work and overall workmanship of grid solar power plant upto inverter is already covered under material and performance warranty of Phase-I. (ii) The thermal imaging of PV Panels should be taken once a year for checking its health including hot spots. (iii)The shut down duration of Inverter should be monitored and recorded and analyzed.
(iv) Maintaining the visit and event logbook. A note of any event that has occurred due to which the Solar system has underperformed or had stopped shall be made in the log book. The corrective action taken and equipment or parts replaced as authorised by MES shall also be noted in the event book.
(v) Solar Panel Maintenance The Solar array (a number of solar panels connected together) is often thought to be maintenance free. However, occasional maintenance i.e once in fortnight and inspection of the solar array must be performed to ensure the optimal use of the solar panels. This can be done by keeping the surface (glass) area of the module clean from any excess dirt. Each panel shall be washed, cleaned with water and sponge properly fortnightly. If the module has thick dirt or grime and bird droppings, which are harder to remove with plain water and sponge then washing soap / other chemical as per OEM guidelines shall be used. However cost of sponge / clothes , Detergents / Soap / Chemical is deemed to be included in the quoted rate for this item.
(vi) Notes 1. Metal brush will not be used to clean solar panel surface. 2. A visual inspection of the modules will also be done during cleaning to check for defects in the modules such as cracks, chips, de-lamination, fogged glazing, water leaks and discoloration. If any obvious defects are found, the location shall be noted in the system logbook, so that they can be monitored in the future in case further deterioration affects the modules' output. 3. The condition of the array mounting frame will also be checked by supervisor cum tradesman. Items to observe shall include the array mounting bolts (e.g.bolt rusting) and ensure that the frame and modules are firmly secured. The junction boxes shall also be checked to ensure that the wires are not chewed by rodents or insects.
(vii) Wiring and connections Wiring installations shall be checked for any cracks, breaks or deterioration in the insulation/conduits. Inspect panel boxes to ensure that they have not become a home for rodents and insects. Also inspect connections for any corrosion and/or burning. Switches should not spark when turned on or off. The following sections of conduit and wiring should be checked for any signs of damage:- Solar panels to the DCDB, DCDB to the Inverter, Inverter to the ACDB, If any damage is found, the same shall be repaired/replaced . All ground wires shall be checked to ensure that they are not broken.
