AGENCY CHARGES FOR CLEARING & FORWARDING OF BREAK BULK CARGO & CONTAINERIZED IMPORT CONSIGNMENT Brief Scope of work (i) Filing and processing of Bill of Entry with Customs (ii) Filing and processing of import application with VPT (iii) Arrange passes for trucks and trailers (Entry & Exit passes for vehicle) (iv) Booking of the Hook and Unhooking Gang from Port (a) Clearing and forwarding, documentation work including all formalities with Customs, Port, liners/agents and other authorities including preparation of Bills of Entry, Import application & getting documents passed from Customs within time limit, jotting Challans, executing bonds with customs/other authorities and cancellation/discharge of the same on fulfillment of the requirement, collection of debit note/freight bills from the liners and obtaining delivery orders from liners/agents. (b) Verification & inspection of consignments/containers/seals for any damages, weighment/arrangement for surveys (if required), forwarding survey reports, Intimation to Insurance /underwriters & other authorities / liners / liner agents, lodging & processing claims, if any, on steamer agents/carriers, other agencies and follow-up for refund. (c) Indenting/Coordinating with CFS/ transporters, for early removal of consignment/container from Port to CFS/ any designated place in Visakhapatnam within free time including overall supervision & safe transportation, Follow-up / protest on steamer agents/liners/terminal/CFS for any delay in clearance. Co-ordination with Port/ CFS/Customs authorities, surveyors for timely customs examination at CFS/Port / any other designated place, obtain out-of-charge, liaisoning with transporters, surveyors, handling/loading supervision of cargo, dispatch within free time, providing all necessary documents including delivery challan /waybill to transporters, obtaining LR and preparation & submission of daily dispatch statements Rate per MT

CHARGES FOR CFS OPERATION CONTAINER CHARGES : Transportation of Laden Containers from Port to any CFS within Visakhapatnam, Grounding the container, presenting the goods for customs inspection, de-stuffing and loading of cargo on to NALCO’s nominated Trucks/Trailers inside CFS, including shifting from storage and expenses towards crane, labour etc& handing over empty containers to owners/agents.
